Ok that's more like it ^^, I guess they want to have a google wallet integration with email, not a bad idea when you have a strong ecosystem, but the security needs to be increased, Google has a head start on Facebook on this domain, I hear people wanting bitcoin on Amazon but if there is a company that would be interessted in the protocol, and open source it is google, why no one thinking about them
I think it is a super convenient option to be able to send money through email. Google pretty much owns the world now unfortunately

Well, it's not really a competition. The system will probably be very limited and it'll be hard implementing it in the rest of the world due to tax laws etc. how about the people living in the US different screen shots about it

As people already said it's only available in the US, and I don't know if it's available for all accounts even if you're from there.

Was just sending an email from my corporate email...and noticed a new pop-up inside the gmail compose box...It is now allowing to send $ through email. Have you guys seen or tried this?
I doubt Google is planning on being left in the dust by bitcoin...they are definitely either contemplating its integration, or trying to create their own I am sure...

Do you have a screenshot? I don't see anything, although I assume they are rolling it out in stages.
My comp won't let me screenshot it
. It is because I have to be hovering over the area with my mouse in order for the "$" to pop up. When I go to do a screen shot it disappears...You just click "Print screen" button on the keyboard and C + V into Paint or any other program and there you have a screen shot of it. If i understand it right that should work.
I haven't seen it , if they really launch it , It could be nice feature for us
