A little time again the price of biitcoin can reach 2000USD. It only takes 200USD again to reach that number. We must ensure that no negative news can disrupt the current bitcoin rise trend. This is a very interesting thing, we are all looking forward to the new record that bitcoin can achieve.

and it actually is the new floor, but the fact that price can go below $1000 still exists just like any other bitcoin price before it. that is how bitcoin works, the market is still volatile because how small it is and how orderbooks can be filled.

But some people speculate that the current price increase and stability is due to the decision on the bitcoin ETF coming up. If the SEC doesn't approve the bitcoin ETF, the price could possibly take a dip.

the record that you should take a look at and the record which is really impressive is the fact that bitcoin price has been rising consistently for a couple of years now.
$1000 is just another number on the way up. and it is not even a single number which is important. price is different in different currencies.
for instance it is 1058 in USD
it is 1000 in EUR
it is 1410 in CAD
it is 59771 RUR
it is 7153 in CNY

This would really be a new record i guess since we are now on 1k point without any dropping as of this month and it able to manage for how many weeks.As other members said here this would be the new floor of bitcoins price and if it drops it wont decrease too much i guess.

True, this time we have different path and everything is point that price wont fall like in 2013 if it fall 800 is maximum fall from this.
This is maybe year that most expect to see new ATH but i would like more to be price like this stable is good more investment will be made.

Stable price will help to gain more trust and credibility for the whole bitcoin project, but I think the biggest investments are made after all the quick price increases and falls. It motivates people to invest, because then they think they can make a quick profit. People always lean for a quick profit rather than for a long time investments, they like to be controlled by their emotions. Grin

Actually, there is still potential bitcoin prices fell below $ 1,000 for some conditions but if it happens hopefully not be less than $ 990, but hopefully it does not happen and the price will continue to above $ 1,000.

Well I really do hope you are right since most of us who earn via bitcoin some extra cash would like it to have a high conversion since it means we will have more money. I really do think the same as you, if this level is maintained now I think this would be the new floor and it will be long before we even see 500$ ever again that is if there aren't any major happenings that will drive the price of bitcoin down later on this month.

I guess we will keep fluctuating from high 900 to low 1000's until we are going for the big ass pump that will bring us to to the new all time high, we are going to see a lot of people missing on the pump since they will be waiting for the next dip.

Bitcoin is growing. Just before the new year, December 22, the exchange rate of the leading cryptocurrency reached $800, to achieve the highest level in two years, mark was supposed to be $875. It is not surprising to see in a short time the highest in the entire history of bitcoins 1100$ or more – 1200$.
