I thought we would see a drop like this (see earlier post). It was just a matter of time and we could see it drop more. I just look at this as a way to buy Bitcoin at a better price.
Prices rose about 15% in just a week, it looks like the trend of rising prices continues. I predict the price of $1.500 will soon be achieved. I'll hold bitcoin and will I sell once the price reaches $1.200 or more.
Bad prediction. Like everybody else who are amateur traders in the forum you should not be listened to when you make predictions. The professional traders who should be the people we listen to do not post their predictions here because they do not want to give away their secrets.
It keeps pushing 1000$+ numerous times for a while but the resistance at 1050$+ is too damn strong. What ever happens it just can't break that resistance. Every time it gets to 1000$+, it slowly reaches 1040$ and goes back to 900's. That's the main movement for a while now.
On the other hand, there is also a big support at 900$'s. And it can't go lower neither.
From what i see, we will go below 900's one more time and maybe, we will even see 700's again and then, we will jump back to 1100$+

Today's bitcoin price is surly not new record. The record was on 2013 when the price gone higher 1100$, but we are really close to this price and new record. I think the price will hit in in the end of February or on March. But the time will show.
Considering this we managed to stay over $1000 for 6 days, what is 2 days longer then in beginning of year.

I'm a little surprised that we are holding above $1000 for so long. I won't buy any more until the price drops down below $1000 because it seems to be too high right now (but I could be wrong).
There are pros and cons to this kind of thinking from amateur traders like us who do not know what we are doing half of the time. A good thing about it is we could get lucky and buy at a lower price but mostly what happens is when it goes up quickly we get emotional and get scared that if we do not get in know we might miss the move. The next thing we see is the price goes to the opposite direction quickly.

Yes i think we hit a new record on high price at 1000 dollars. But 2000 dollars at the end of years . There are no expectations that far. I'm sure passes Year after year, the price of Bitcoin will Continues bounced up. Of course I would not refuse if the price of Bitcoin reach 2000 dollars at the end of this year, it is a great achievement in price aspect Bitcoin.
I feel the Bitcoin is fundamentally strong now and it won't crash anytime soon. The global economy looks shaky and that's why Bitcoin is being favorable. I feel if Bitcoins hold this strong it shall keep on going up. So far so good looks like the Bitcoin wagon is continuing it's golden ride. Now if there's something bad in our economy Bitcoin price will just shoot up and that's what we all should wait for, cause something will happen I just feel it should. I think 1200 by March looks a reality and 1500 post June.

it took more process to reach those amount but with the current situations still possible i think but only if the price would not dropped again $1000 below and i think the investors should be more concern for bitcoin because it could makes bitcoin price will more high
You can't call it a record as this can be a indicator that this time price was stable after reaching 1000$ unlike last time it became 1150$++ and then Chinese screwed it up.
I still don't think the price will stay 1000$+ if the china government does something again to reduce the price. I don't think 6 days is a big thing if the price remains 1000$+ whole feb or maybe march it can be a really good indicator.

We don't need new ATH to be noticed, not by pros anyway. Every major investor is monitoring bitcoin already, it would be foolish not to do this.ATH is more of a bait for normal people, a potential future users, they are always teased the most by raw numbers.
I speak from experience, as I was lured by BTC because of that 2013 ATH too.
A new all time high will create new long term investors in Bitcoin. Why do I say this? Because they will go buy with everything they have as much as they can and then the price will drop hard. Now they cannot sell at a big loss because of fear. Now they have no choice but to keep supporting Bitcoin hoping that it will go above their price of entry which sometimes will not happen for a very long time.

Since, I didn't watch over the price every single hour but sometimes, so I didn't notice that we've been at +1000 since February 2th, glad to know. We're expecting more as plenty of good news had been soared and recent update about winklevoss bitcoin ETF approval to attract investors who are legally limited to investing only in securities accredited by the SEC.

We are really close to ATH anyway, and it would make the graphic look prettier which is always a plus. We need to get rid of the ugly 2013 ATH which was achieved with fake volume and bot activity. This time it will be a real ATH, we need it to legitimize the asset, those things are important from a psychological perspective, and we are really close to it now, only about 100 dollars more to go of controlled growth.

in 2015, the first time when i bought bitcoin at rate of $3xx-4xx. But during the end of year which is the holiday season and it peaked at $800 but it drop back soon

Yes, I can see the "holidays" trend as well and I think, that with bigger adoption of bitcoin the effect will be even stronger, because the amount of traded coins will be also higher.
This year we need to be prepared for selling our coins at the peak and resseling them after New Years Eve.
I don't think as well that the rapid growth of bitcoin price is good.
It attracts too many investors who want to make quick money. As fast as they are in, they are out again.
