Many people are easily affected by investments that provide substantial returns in a very short time, for example investment plans with a return of 400% in one or two months. Logically, the benefits offered do not make any sense, but why our people looks easy for believing with scammer planning. When have been scam really how their investment is not logically with profitable giving, every time I see on television many people got scam with investment by giving higher reward profit return. Now we have stop with some one try to promote project like this and give much way for new investor to know which one good investment or not.

Avoid investing your bitcoin in such kind of unbelievable investment return. Don't be greedy so that you will not fall on their magnetic strategy. Much better to do trading or hold your bitcoin for safety of your funds.

Scammer discover ways in scamming people and we need everyone to share their tactics about that so we are aware and we can share to other people and the priority is the newbie because their is primary target is them because the knowldge is not enough and easy for them to trust because they did not know all the happenings here in crypto or the online world so we need to be careful.

As our whole lives are heading towards online world it's kind of natural that scamers have found their new niche and opportunities to scam people in even bigger range than before.
Pandemic is also very convenient where people fall for different fake news or false medicine or vaccine. It's ideal time for scamers and as the only way I see to protect people is education and raising awareness of dangers in virtual world.

The Ponzi scheme is not a new product, it has been around for a long time, it's just that the scammers took advantage of Bitcoin this time to launch their action.  During this "PANDEMIC" period, many people started to become interested in cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin.  I'm not worried about the members in this forum because it sure won't be easy to get into their trap, what I'm worried about are those out there, who are greedy and easily incited with "big profits and quick profits"..

Many people started to become interested in cryptocurrencies that is why the number of scammers also increased. They think of it as the best opportunity to victimize those people who are starting to get interested in bitcoin. Scammers can't only be found on social media but also some of them created a networking business platform that has the name of a cryptocurrency to attract more people when it comes to investing on their site. I'm also concern with those people who doesn't have enough knowledge to find out if it is a scam or not.

The pandemic urge people to find a source of income for them to survive on the current crisis and this one grabbed by those scammers since there are so many newbies are been much hyped to the possible profit what Bitcoin can give to them that's why we see so many forex trader/Bitcoin trade front use to fool newbies. I see so many scam victims by this scheme and maybe it's best for the other to learn a valuable lesson to those people who got victimized by online schemes.

Perhaps the OP hasn't visited the Scam Accusations. I will advise you to go to that board and see it for yourself have many scam attempts similar to this one has been exposed by a lot of members. So yes, this is not new, just recycle methods to target noobs who will see this as an opportunity to earn easy money, but it is not.
As long as there are victims of scam, this thing would seem to be unending. There are already many cases in that board proving there are different schemes resulting to scam. Scammers are taking advantage of the lack of knowledge of the "new" ones. Offers will be tempting and to quite relate it to the situation at this moment, people are more likely fell for it due to frustrations. The best thing to do in order to not be a victim is to not be afraid to ask those which you think are knowledgeable with what you are pushing yourself with. People do choose not to because they are either shy or times which are greedy of not sharing the opportunity with other people.

We should be very careful of any form of scam around, most of those scam look sweet like bait to cart away your investment, let's not for no reason reveal our private key to any one for the sake of earnings, there are many investors that have made this cryptocurrency as a Ponzi scheme, let's beware, they will definitely not want to lose for you to gain, therefore if it's not favouring them, they will rather cart away all funds.

it is an old scam trick, but unfortunately, it works very well and a lot of people are being deceived. the first time I got into bitcoin was because of that promotion, but thank goodness I didn't join them.
There are still many of these kind of scheme, if we're easy to deceive we will think they are really real and might have chance to steal, scam and even our information. It's good to be reminded every now and then that are many who thinks  crypto is easy to steal so we will took care and keep it safe. It's for newbies as well those who want a easy money that will keep on joining in projects or programs that said to provide a good return.

Many people are still falling victim to fake promise that is coming from fake people on social media.many of them don't have any idea on bitcoin but they will send you some fake message that they can make you a billion within a month. If only you can forward your personal address.
Many people have open eye now which is very easy for them to identify scammer or know when and where they are about to operate. Research has really helped so many people to be very careful with some of the Bitcoin cheater in the forum.

Scammers and cheaters are everywhere when mobile phone was introduced people didn't get used to it, when gradually many of them started to use it at that time some fraudsters use to send messages like congratulations you have won 100000$ to claim this reward kindly send you so and so address and account number. The same technique is been used here that's it, My point here is as technology gets wider fake people too expand their skills, it's we who always need to be careful.

Scammers are everywhere and they are just waiting for naive individual to take their bait.
But would appreciate if the OP will give the links that he encountered offering such terms.
So we can report it to google and let google take it down to avoid other people from falling the trap.
There is no free money nowadays and too-good-to-be true ROIs. Ask yourself, where will they get the money to pay you?

The good thing is awareness are spreading and those who first failed to follow those fakes giveaways and promises are now learning the proper ways inside crypto/bitcoin. It's good since there are many people now that also concern with others, sharing information and guides in order to avoid being victimized by scammers and hackers.

No and even as a newbie if you would think about it thoroughly you would know that it is a scam,
400% profit in just a short term? How would that even be possible and how would they pull it off?
Just thinking about it is insane already would you believe in such promise ?
The only reason why people fall for it is due to their greediness and lack of knowledge.

What I'm worried about is that new people find out about crypto, they will be easily swayed when there is a big gift that makes get rich quick from messages sent, they don't realize it's a scam, surely they will be attracted when there is a 400% profit in Bitcoin, but for people who have known about crypto for a long time, everyone thinks this is nothing new.
That their big regrets for sure.
What OP had said isn't new to us, people are aware of this kind of scheme, however, many were still remain ignorant because of money. That is really disappointing to see that still be scammed despite the awareness we brought to the community. if we could see a 400% profit, that is really enticing but wondering what will be the outcomes.

As the number of scammers keeps growing, we should be careful in dealing with someone, especially to strangers. It is a need to make thorough research before investing.

This is not new. This modus is very old, most probably older than Bitcoin itself.

Old methods that target something relatively new such as cryptocurrencies, and completely shift the whole thing into the digital age - which just means that anyone can be a target, whether using a PC, smartphone or smart TV. I just don't see any effective way to fight it except to learn about such things already in primary school as part of mastering basic information skills.

The human mind is pretty naive, because if you ask a person who has been deceived in this way why they agreed to something like that, the answer will mostly be in the sense of something like "the thing seemed legal because it was on the internet", which as a tool is very powerful, but also very dangerous, and unfortunately is taken for granted by most so it becomes a paradise for the whole army of people who have no scruples and who are ready to deceive anyone, even if it was one who will be left without everything he has.

What's worst about this scheme is that, an investment agent use this to take advantage of people who are not educated about this activity. This kind of investment scheme is now so rampant in our community, and a large amount of money is being taken from them. For sure, it will come into an end. By the way, this scheme is now running for 3 months by now and still not busted.

Let this be a warning to all of us to not get easily swayed by too good to be true investment.

these HYIP scams are rampant this days on Facebook's comment sections. I even got messaged by three of them saying the same thing. the sad part about it(other than knowing in my country there are still falling for this and even encouraging their relatives to do the same) is that Facebook seems to be slow when dealing with this kind of scam messages on the comment section. I've reported a bunch of them but I still keep seeing them on the same comment section.
