Even if that is an old trick, it could work to trick or scam new people in the crypto world because they will not think much about the scam. They only think that the profit is big, so that makes them join with those programs. If they can search for another info, they will found that there is no biggest profit in the short term, and they will know that it is just a part of the scam that will happen in the crypto world. The first thing that we should consider is a scam or not is the profit they offer, and if the profit looks too good to be true, that will be a scam. I hope that people can learn more about every investment offer they got, and they can search for more to find if that is a scam or it is true.

Not really anything new. These sort of schemes have existed even before bitcoin existed. Just instead of being a purely fiat-powered investment scheme, they just plaster things like "bitcoin", "blockchain", "crypto", "decentralized", etc and they use websites with great looking UIs to hopefully trick the newbies.
Indeed. People are too dumb to realize the truth behind these sort of schemes. Greed has consumed their mind and they cant think of anything else but the money. In my country, deceivers dont even need a good website to put people in their scam project. Only some soaring speeches and promising a high return are needed to lure thousands of dollar in just one night Huh

Education is really important. People should add those schemes in study programs so as to rise people awareness so as not to easily lose money in a imbecilic way

This is not new. This modus is very old, most probably older than Bitcoin itself.

All kinds of exclusive and premium packages have been sold online and offline. There's a package for someone who wishes to excel in forex trading. There's another one for someone who wishes to make a lot of money in trading stocks. There's also packages for those who want to earn more in the advertisement industry. Not so recently, there were also lots of tutorial packages offered to those who want to get well informed on how to make money in dropshipping. The list could go on and on.

Well, ditch them all!

Haha this is not a new scheme to me. Thieves have been using this way steal people money for many years. They always disguise their ponzi schemes into a blockchain based project such as tokens, bitcoin, etc. Its funny that there are many people believe in these high yield investment programs and as the results, they lose a lot of money. I guess that the dream of being wealthy makes their mind program purblind.

The bad news is the more people being deceived, the more notorious bitcoin is. In my country, people who do not have knowledge of bitcoin or cryptocurrency will claim that bitcoin is a scam and sooner or later, it will be destroyed. And if you are caught using bitcoin, being arrested can be a consequence. Because of those frauds, the government has decided to stop any business related to bitcoin and cryptocurrency. And they would not resolve any issue with losing money while investing crypto. This is totally unknowledgeable and we could not do anything at all to amend the current states

This news is not new in the crypto world, it always happens in the virtual world because scammers are always there, if you are already many experiences in cryptocurrency then for sure you won't be a victim of this. After all, only beginners will believe this kind of scam, I got scammed before from a fake website with the offer of 100% in return way back when I was a beginner and this sucks, thankfully I joined this forum and become informed about those scams.

There is no legit website that will offer a high return with the short period, that is a full scam, never trust someone or a website like that because you will end up losing your money, better to do research first before anything else.

Perhaps the OP hasn't visited the Scam Accusations. I will advise you to go to that board and see it for yourself have many scam attempts similar to this one has been exposed by a lot of members. So yes, this is not new, just recycle methods to target noobs who will see this as an opportunity to earn easy money, but it is not.
It definitely should be there, and OP can get some merits in there too. This kinds of schemes are getting traction in my country with more people needing money. Good thing that most of my relatives, friends and acquaintances did not fall to this scheme. Hopefully, they should never know of this or participate because that just sucks.

This is not a new trick in crypto space, this has been already happening around. Easy money? Quick return? Instant rich? People got reck if they will put their money to them. It is too much to hear that scheme, people should have to realize that these things haven't existed nor to think about doubling your money because it is out of reality.

We don't need to let them have a way to scam us. If we are a smart person, aware of the situation, I don't think that we can still be a victim of this. And besides, this is also common sense for everyone how to know if that is a scam or not, but seeing a doubling money scheme is was pretty obvious that was a BIG LIE.

You know we're about to enter a full blown bull market when the Ponzi schemes are back in full force.
Ponzis make you believe you're making heaps of money, then one day it all collapses and the original person or group who started the scheme, profits big.
Aviod 'Bitcoin Investments', just hodl and self-custody your coins. Don't enter your private key anywhere.
The general rule: if it sounds too go to be true, it probably it.
Many scams will want your Bitcoin.
Many alts will want your Bitcoin.
Stay safe out there.

I think barto123 nailed it.  If an deal looks too good to be true, it probably is.  Use your common sense - It prevails.

Recently, I have seen various messages on social networks such as WhatsApp and Instagram that promise you a short-term profit of 400% bitcoin.
400% short-term profit and all these things are theft and be careful.

And they sell you multi-dollar packages that you can swing professionally, but all of that is a lie and a scam.
By selling these packages, these people sell very little and beginner information to newcomers to the digital world and promise them to become millionaires.

Do not trust these people and pay attention to analysis and fluctuations in the digital world.

These people want to sell you a dream.
