a bit annoying if you've lurked but never posted before

The really annoying bit is that I had an account from way back when but lost my credentials.

I know the reason for the restrictions when the trolls started flooding the forum, but now that it seems to have died down not sure if it needs to continue?  I wanted to purchase something and was unable to get in time because I have only been lurking for a long while.

I don't really like these restrictions, I just had a question I wanted to ask and cannot because of the stupid restrictions.

2-4 weeks? How do they count the online hours? Doesn't f5 all 10 mins count?

Why would it not? It is kinda silly but if it works then it's worth it.

These newbie restrictions are very annoying. I read this forum for quite a while. Now that I'm really gonna to answer a post I cannot, since I just registered for that purpose.

yepp - feel quite the same about that. I have been reading the forums and signed up to reply to one specific post - bummer :/

I thought I was going to jump into the currency exchange area with my shiny, newly minted bitcoin.
Waiting can be healthy though.  Grin

You'd have better luck on one of the exchanges anyway.

My comments are waiting to be submitted to scrutinization against quality control standards.  Or something.

Somewhat annoying restrictions, although I'll play along because I want access to the rest of the boards. Might there be a better way? I'm not sure.
If you really are in a hurry to get unrestricted, you can try your luck here:
