had almost the same problem. wallet stopped syncing but with version 0.2.4.5. i replaced with 0.2.4.6, did a full wallet sync and everything works perfect.

Cannot get a genesis in 4 days in a row at 2.4.6. Don't understand why and ready to give up and start saving the electricity instead. Hopefully we'll the Tritium this year, I became obsessed with this damn wallet.
