The community is not aware of Nexus yet, the most  secure blockchain , but still this is something that I hadn't thought about, its a great idea I think.

http://www.datasecuritynode.com/bitshares-blockchain-elects-nuclear-bunker-to-protect-against-all-threats-for-the-next-500-years/

tell me if im being dense but ...

"As recently as 2012 we had a near miss solar event that could have shot society back to the 1800s, instantly rendering our power grid and all electronic devices useless."

followed by

"Therefore, we should hypothesize that these magnetic field disruptions could eventually disorient the magnetized bits that store our civilization’s data on computers and electronic devices all over the world.

If so, let’s hope that miners and others safeguarding Bitcoin and its blockchain data implement preventive measures against these cosmic threats. For example, they could install strong magnetic shielding to protect data storage devices and ensure the implementation of effective data backups”

surely if we were set back 200 years and all electronic devices are rendered useless it'd be pretty pointless to still have bitchains blockchain or any other

Such set backs due to solar radiation would only be temporary, it is not inconceivable that power grids could be back online within weeks the only problem remaining then would be if enough ppl had backed up blockchains and priv keys on some sort of non magnetic storage ie optical disks.

I have very little knowledge about computing compare to some of the people here, how the fuck an average mortal can setup the prime pool miner to mine some niro? At current levels of difficulty more or less how many blocks can I mine per day with a 4th gen intel core i7 and 16gb of ram?

Solo mining for niro is probably the easiest coin to setup solo mining for, problem is with current difficulty on prime channel it may take days to find a block with your cpu. If you want a more consistent payout you should try the pool.

With my Core i7 3770 i can find about 10 6 chain prime clusters per day. This means that with difficulty hovering around 6 i can have at least 2-3 blocks a day. For example right now I'm running the miner for 4h 40min and found with it 2 6ch primes and one of them was a block. So go ahead and try it.
What is current block value?
Depends on the "Reserves". You can check it here: http://nexusoft.io/platform/

Thanks m8, was first searching op for info Smiley

Yeah that's in the plan, interviews, booths, ect. This will come later down the road, currently happy to do any interviews. Updated head shot on nexusoft.io, looks like the previous CDN link expired.

Thank You,
Viz.

I can see that Viz wants to keep his identity in low profile for the moment, but in the future will you be willing to do interviews with for example Amanda B. Johnson of The Daily Decrypt or going to events, conventions worldwide to promote Nexus like Evan Duffield from Dash is doing in different cities and countries? was watching different devs like Evan or Vitalik and see that once your project gets on the eye of the community people will want to see you talk to you, ask you questions etc. Just want to know how will you deal with the community once Nexus kicks off.

As Nexus voting consensus will be based in trust keys, if I want to have voting power in the network and also have a lot of capital I buy warehouse like place and 10.000 raspberry pi and load nexus on them, that's 10.000 trust keys or who knows if it can be bigger, could an individual with resources affect Nexus in this way in the future? could it be attacked like this? if so how could it be prevented?

My understanding is that trust keys would be weighted, for example on values such as wallet balance and age. So it would not be enough to simply have a large number of trust keys you would also need to maintain them so they gain weight. Also i believe there is a minimum amount of coins that can be staked (not sure of the exact number) so such a venture would indeed be very capital intensive, surely there are better ways to invest such capital.
