Nexus should reach out to Microsoft
So far coins like iota, emercoin, and ethereum have signed onto azure. Nexus should be able to as well.

Pool News :

Pool is up all days but we can have some connection probleme. DDos attack start all day on pool server.

Counter DDos works but the security proccess can take time to increase the connection capacity.

http://nexusniropool.cestballot.fr/ according to pool website server is down for maintenance. Cestballot is usually pretty fast on posting when there is an issue i wonder if he is aware of this one?

I did notice that, I have two bats, one of Colins, the other of Cestballots.

Colins doesn't work upright, and Cests says "Failed to connect to mining LLP server".


I knew for a fact that there are some farms on the CPU channel since it's never really been below 5.7, just as you're saying.

Difficulty on the prime channel remains relatively high considering the cpu pool is down (are you sure its down?), when the pool is running the diff usually hovers around 6 and it's currently at 5.7.

Looks like he CPU pool has been down for good. Lord have mercy, lol.

In fact I agree you can not have enough PR, but thats not exactly the same as marketing is it. It is simply my view that marketing when talked about in crypto generally refers to social media hype campaigns and memes consisting of rocket pics on bitcoin talk. I would prefer to see the price grow naturally as the functionality of Nexus is improved with added features, and I have to agree with viz good marketing requires good timing.

The term marketing when used in relation to crypto is applied very loosely and generally applies to a social media campaign which is designed to inflate prices at an unsustainable rate, which ultimately leads to a dump. Now I am not suggesting there should be zero marketing for ever but I cant help but feel those who call for more marketing at this stage are purely in this coin for a quick profit. Nexus will benefit most from marketing after a full set of features is implemented but I would hate to see it ruined by the sort of social media hype campaign that seem all too common in the crypto sphere.
As for your comment about nobody noticing, is it not the case that the nexus team is producing podcasts? And they have developed a website and of course there is this forum. So in fact Nexus has had some avenues to "tell the world."
On a personal note there really is no need to resort to name calling simply because someone does not agree with your opinion, we live in an incredibly diverse world in which many different people have very widely varied opinions and to sit there an call them "fucking idiots" only serves to alienate them. You would be far better served to logically lay out some argument as to why there is some great and apparent need for a hype style marketing campaign, unless of course your reason is simply to sell your Niro for profit. In which case you have already proved my point...

You are right Conqueror, we can have the best coin of all, right now is its early development stages so no much problem to be unknown but in the future proper marketing is essential to get Nexus to the masses, we should never underestimate the power of marketing as tons of great ideas and projects either get ignored or stolen because of improper marketing strategies, if not ask our friends at Microsoft or Apple, they are masters in this craft. Amazing marketers not always have come out with the best products by their own, but they either bought them or stole them and did an amazing job with marketing and further development, that you can't take away from this companies.

so yeah after the random rant we'll need some nice marketing in the future
