Can you explore the old Acronis image and pull your wallet.dat file from it?

Do you have any other backups of your wallet.dat anywhere?

I have seen people restore wallets in the past using a flag on various Bitcoin/altcoin wallets: -salvagewallet and -repairwallet

Can you try to run the coinshield-qt.exe -salvagewallet?

Yes, everything worked fine on previous windows image, and the wallet started one time after I restored Windows, so I was sure that everything was OK (cause I did it several times before) and deleted the newest copy and made another one, but second time when starting wallet  I got that error, I think Acronis somehow ruined something in Coinsield directory when restored old Windows image.

CSD is definitely one of my favorites and I never forget about my favs!
Things are progressing nicely at slow steady pace.
Great work so far CSD/NIRO Team and keep it up!

Yes I tried it - it doesnt work. Old directory works only with the old wallet.dat.

Did you copy new wallet.dat into old directory? Older wallet will be short coins as your wallet.dat holds all your mining keys, which a new one is created every block you find. I'm thinking of changing this in future release so that we can mine for just one address, keep wallets cleaner. I really dislike the whole database system that the core uses, part in which I am reprogramming from scratch for LLL integration.

I will PM the picture of error message.
I also have the old copy of Coinshield directory and it works fine right now, but here I have only 14k of CSD instead of 50k I had in a newer one that is my personal trouble Smiley.

What's your error code? I see your wallet is synced to 230,259. No errors in your debug.log

The situation was the following: I had to use Acronis True Image to restore Windows 7 64, after that the wallet worked - so I backed up the Coinshield directory and deleted  Cry the preveous copy, the next time I started the wallet - I got the error.

There is something about the Coinshield-QT that doesn't allow you to just copy and paste the contents and then re-start.  If you try to copy the database from anywhere else, it just doesn't work.  I don't know why because it usually works for most other QT wallets.

I assume you can delete everything in the CoinShield folder except for your wallet.dat and run the Coinshield-QT again and it should work... that always works for me... but it takes forever to load the blocks...

Hopefully we will get the fast-sync 1.0.2 version re-branded to Nexus Niro soon

Hi everybody! Can anybody help me with "fatal error occurred" when starting wallet (tried deleting everything except wallet.dat but didnt help). Thanks in advance.

Did the wallet successfully run in the past?  Maybe try restarting your computer.  What version of Windows?  I have had that happen with other wallets but not this one.  Once I restarted my computer and the wallets, they seemed to work fine.

Nexus pool : http://nexusniropool.cestballot.fr/
Good idea BitcoinSanDiego.

So far the first draft from designer. Of course not anything remote to what will be the final, but just to show the community progress:

By the way, just purchased nexusniro.com Wink
I'm thinking in the future, maybe we could buy nexus.com so we could have domain structure:

trust.nexus.com
niro.nexus.com
union.nexus.com
tech.nexus.com
platform.nexus.com

Thank You,
Viz.

Hello,

for the moment we don't have other, but this one is realy good, I love it Wink
I send it to my web designer to see if he can do better job, but I don't think so.

Best regards
