We cannot further conclude that because of the declination on the prices of NFT, the hype is already over for it because many people are still currently into supporting NFT even here at my place NFT is still on a big hype among crypto and common people due to popularity it have set into standard. Maybe we are just seeing the downside right now but we cannot therefore conclude that the hype is already dead for there are still plenty of time to regain possession as long as people are supporting it.

nft not over yet, its still the beginning. more people interested to create their own nft which is could be the unique thing from him. now there are alot nft project builded around the world and good news is more public figure involved to this project. they will give positive influence to nft project and crytpo market commonly.

This is what I'm still trying to believe too since many great artist are still not entering the NFT industry. There is a lot of potential on NFT market considering the vast use of it. It just happened that Bitcoin pulls the whole market while NFT based project received the most price growth on this bullrun that's why they the one who's heavily affected on this dump.

Just like what i said in other threads related to NFT that it's not over yet and it's just the starting of NFT era. As whole market is on correction mode, everyone busy with accumulating more bitcoin or altcoins and that could be the reason for not having that much trading volume on NFT marketplace and nothing else. So, lets just wait for the recover of the whole market and NFT market will be hyped up again just like previous, IMHO.

I don't think it is over current market condition is not good even we have seen a collapse in all major cryptocurrencies. I believe NFT second wave would come again when BTC will start rising again. The whole market is down and we can not expect only NFT will perform in this condition so we should be patient for some time before coming to any conclusion.

I believe, NFT hype is not yet over. It is just in the initial phase.
Athletes, singers and other personalities are just starting to discover their huge potential as a source of their income.
Just look at the few articles below, and I think, this will grow in the coming years.
This will be like an advanced tech to connect with their fans, which can be either expensive or cheap.
But right now, it seems they are fetching high prices in the market.
Maybe, later on, they can sell NFTs at economical price so they can reach more audience and fans.

There are several stages on most new technologies. While the NFT hype may be over for the moment it does not mean that it will not come back in terms of reaching the real utility. There is quite a bit of literature about the hype cycle and the technology adoption. I am personally convinced that the NFT are actually quite useful, but they have been misused and now will go through the valley of disappointment for a long time before some good projects appear.

That was a pretty short hype, but you can state that the NFT hype is over. This can be measured most clearly by the prices for NFT projects and NFT tokens. If you take Chilliz, for example, the price has collapsed by 75% from the high. In comparison, Bitcoin is currently valued around 45% lower from its high.

NFT hype is over, what do you think will be the next hype to prepare for?
Honestly I never switch over to any other investments but always sticking within bitcoin investments and hype. This is the reason, I guess I never need to worry on which is going to produce 10x or 100x next and what is going to get delisted. I agree people risk on altcoins and getting good returns but when considering the risk reward ratio, I guess I am doing better with my ONLY-BTC investments.

I mean, I am watching few of my friends who invested on more than 10 altcoins and they got good returns from 1 or 2 coins which may compensate the total capital required to invest in all 10 altcoins but I do believe their luck may not favor them always and with their next attempt they may fail to find that 2 altcoins as well. This is why I believe just investing only with bitcoin investments will get me good returns in long run and relatively with less risks even bitcoin is doing with its usual wild volatility.

The kind of hypes based on nothing but speculations is gone in regard to NFT but the real market for NFT will always be there. The problem is that everybody just ride on the hypes and of course it can never be sustained. Just like art, the value is always on what the market will be willing to buy and when the market is down you can expect the same to happen to NFT in general. However, as one expert has said, NFT will continue and there will always be growth in many niches as we will be seeing soon. Now, one trend is that everybody has suddenly become NFT creators or should I say pretend to be artists...and this alone can drive the market down but when it comes to real artists this can become a new arena they can explore and if they can be able to bring their loyal fans into the NFT marketplace then we can be able to see real and sustainable boom in here.

there are still many coins that are trying to ride nft train but it is over from what I can see. I am still not sure what people are buying when they buy digital artwork in the form of nft. It couldn't last for a long time. I guess nft can still has some use in games .. other than that I can't think of any other use for it.

next trend seems to be tokens with supplies in trillions.

So far, there are still a lot of new projects coming out that will develop in the NFT sphere, and therefore we can still say that the NFT sphere is still popular, but until when the NFT sphere will be popular is unknown, therefore, it will soon be very dangerous to invest in NFT projects, since the hype around NFT will soon fall and therefore we need to look for new projects that are not related to NFT and in general I think a new hype is expected already very soon.

Of all the trends, it seems like NFT is the one that makes people lose the most
those investing in NFT-based defi tokens are the hardest hit

I'm not really sure what trend will happen again
hopefully it's better than nft and defi

Funny how all that NFT hype passed by me. I got few NFT tokens and that is it. I never had time and interest to sort out deeply in NFT and its real usage. Hope that people managed to earn a lot from it. To me it was like baseball or pokemon cards. I only remember how NFT tweet and few Times first pages in NFT were sold for an unbelievably high prices. I'm really looking forward to see what market will figure out new to earn. We had ICO/IEO/DEFI/NFT. Next one I'm sure is going to be something that people will use in SMM.

Is that what you see OP? To me altcoin season is over and NFT, DeFi and meme coins will suffer alot in coming weeks, everyone should get ready for the bloodbath and wave goodbye to bull season, I can't deny the fact that NFT is one of the most useful use case I know

Blockchain games? they've been there since years ago but only a few gained that much attention from everyone. Like Axie Infinity and the other, that's starting to become known is My Defi Pet.

I still haven't played any of those nor invested but I'm planning my strategy of getting in first to Axie Infinity. That daily SLP reward is quite good if collected every day.

That's just based on my strategy plan. It may look good to me but not for others.

Axie infinity has become a thing now as there were a lot of investors expanding their investments by offering scholarships for those who can't afford stronger axies.
I think the next hype for NFT will be more focused on blockchain games than those expensive digital arts.
And you're right, My Defipet has been catching some attention for the late comers in the Axie Infinity game.

I might say, it's too early to say that the NFT hype has cooled down. Let's wait till the market recovers.

Currently all altcoin dumped, but that not mean NFT hype over. I think trend of NFT and DEFI is just beginning. All altcoin dumpep, actually just corection and we will see next altcoin season coming. NFT and DEFI is new product on crypto market and these given alot of benefits to the many people to gain income online.

NFT hype is over because of the huge dump we experience lately?
I don't think so, if you also take a look at Decentralized Finance (DeFi), they are almost the same situation now. But we just saw Decentralized Finance (DeFi) early appearance in the crypto market.
I can't say it is over now.

Too early to say NFT hype is over, because NFT project is much better than memecoin. Many of NFT project has use case and given alot of benefits to many different industry, like Gaming, Digital art, animation and others. Content creator  get alot of benefits from this technology because they can create NFT and sell it to the public. With more use case, the total of marketcap for NFT coins will increase rapidly.

I don't think it is over, the hype will return again with Binance NFT market. Introducing Binance NFT, A Groundbreaking NFT Marketplace Launching June 2021

Bitcoin will have another all time high. I don't know when but it won't be the next 4 years. It can happen in next 5 months or next 7 months. NFT market and NFT hype can not return if Bitcoin won't make its new all time high or minimally come back to $50k to $60k.

NFT hype is over, what do you think will be the next hype to prepare for?
Cross-chain/multi-chain will be the next hype. AMM platforms with cross-chain swap ability will rise.

PS: I don't think NFT hype is over yet. Just wait until Jun 24th to see Binance releases its NFT market place. NFT niche now is a mess and Binance's market will unite it.
