I've received payments on several of my BTC addresses.
I have multiple payments, just above 0.01 BTC, so the 4% fee applies.

Each time, the fee looks to be a little more then 4%.
If I do the math right, ("Fees BTC" / "Amount BTC" x 100 = "Fee percentage"), I get around 4.16%.
Is this normal ?

Your math is wrong. You need to do: fees / (amount + fees) x 100

Claymore Dual 9.4 says it added sia protocol for nicehash support. I get it that nicehash miner doesnt yet support this, but can we add command line parameters for this and what would the command line siacoin mining on nicehash would be ?

alpha is pretty

wish I didn't have to benchmark my cards to mine with it...once you start dealing with multiple rigs it can be expensive to take them all offline

it was nice being able to input the bench manually without having to edit any files in the previous releases.

also as long as my virus scanner picks up the xmr miner as malicious...I can't auto restart my rigs and have to do it manually due to initialization.

Website statistics are always the most accurate. This includes NiceHash, as well as any of the more traditional mining pools.... you get paid based on what they see accepted on their end; the miner UI is just a handy reference point.

Hello Nicehash-Guys,

Will your Miner V2.0 finally be available for Linux, too??? We are waiting for a linux release like forever!

What statistics are more accurate: Desktop-window or website-stats?

Thanks & regards,
djoser.

I have over 10 years of coding experiences, if you need any good testing, let me know, i can take a look at the alpha.

Not sure if you are going to make a new thread for the V2 miner, but just tried it...

Looks great, installation seemed simple but as soon as it started mining got an error

Windows cannot find C:\Users\First

(This is if I was called 'First Name', so seems like a problem with a space in the file path)

We got the report about this and it will be fixed in the next update. Smiley
Thank you!

after benchmarking and then opening the window to expand the benches for each card, the windows would no longer minimize and the other windows would not expand.   While benchmarking a 5 gpu system (rx480), the system stopped on sgminer for the 4th card and just sat there.  At this point i went into the settings to see what each card did.  I expanded the 4th gpu benchmarks, and then i expanded the 5th gpu benchmarks... at this point the windows would no longer minimize, and no other windows would expand.

Hello Nicehash devs!

I have been using the v2 alpha for a couple of hours and can see that there is some solid potential, the UI is a good step forward and I am looking forward to testing future alpha/betas.

In windows 10 I found a few issues that might be of help as follows:

1: During the setup and having to draw the shape within the shape I felt the instruction copy wasn't as clear as it can be, also maybe indicating what direction the shape gets drawn in can be helpful? I had to draw the shape several times in different directions before it allowed me through.

2: I de-selected CPU mining as I wanted to mine with my 2 GPUs only.  After de-selecting the CPU then closing/restarting the app it wont remember that I deselected the CPU so it is a case of manually de-selecting this after each restart.

3: After running the app for a few hours it white screened with nothing except a white colour in the Nicehash screen area.  Despite this it seemed to be mining without a problem as per the separate cmd screen but with nicehash itself was a white screen.

I realise that this is an alpha so issues as per the above are expected, please let me know if you would like for me to elaborate further or whether there is another forum/area to submit bugs

Thanks!

Totally not what I was expecting. Think i'm switching away from NH.

There needs to be an advance mode / version.

Are you considering adding X14 coins to allow Baikals to use all it's support algorithms?

does anybody do x14 coins?  there's no point if they're worthless.

Sometimes I see zpool auto-profit switch to x14 in multiple occasions. So who knows...

When will Sia coin be added to claymore so we can dual mine it?

it's already in there... read the readme.txt in claymore dual miner

Claymore looks like doesn't follow sia stratum protocol specified here: https://siamining.com/stratum

You should ping him in his thread regarding this matter.

I've used it already.. currently using it and i used it a couple months ago to dual mine with the nice hash miner.  I set up the sai pool in the extra launch parameters and just had it pointing at a different pool than nicehash while the eth hashed on nicehash.  since nicehash doesn't take the second coin into account when determining profitability, it was easy to do without any problems.  I'm currently running a profitable miner (not nicehash miner) that takes both coins into account when mining the most profitable coin.

What miner are you running

Hi nicehash team! I have a question, sorry my bad english, Is there any other advantage apart from simplicity of using this software instead of mining directly with the claymores if I have an RX and changing the profits in poloniex?

I advise you to try all available options and decide which one fits your needs. What is an advantage for one man it not necessary to be for the other.
But when I talk with our users, I noticed that they are mostly grateful for the time they save while using NiceHash Miner. They are not investors or traders, they just want to make easy money.
This is also the main reason why hundreds of gamers are joining NiceHash every week.

Whatever you decide for, make sure to try out the NiceHash Miner v2 when it comes out, okay?  Smiley

Ok! thanks for the fast answer. whats new in the V2?

is there  going to be an implementation to incorporate dual mining profitability of both coins instead of just looking at the main coin?
for example
I have a system that does:
Equi @2.6 ksol/s  @0.01088 btc/day
ethash @ 159Mhash/s @0.01031 btc/day

but with dual mining ethash + sai
ethash @ 128Mhash/s @0.00832 btc/day + sai @ 5.14GH/s @ 0.00929 btc/day
for a total of 0.01761 btc/day for dual mining.

but the way your miner (i.e. nicehash miner) is set up, i'll always be mining equi and losing on half of my potential income.
