That is IP limiter kicking in. You aren't allowed to more than 1 provider query per X seconds. Wait a bit and you can try again.

Hello all,

I have a question regarding NiceHash Miner mining algorithms that it supports for a specific card.
Where can i find a list of mining algorithms that NiceHash Miner supports for the new rx 5xx series from AMD.
I am interesting on buying a RX 570 and wanna mine Zcash (Equihash) using NiceHash Miner. Does it support it ? Or only works with nVidia cards ?

Thank you !

RX 5xx = DaggerHashimoto, Decred, CryptoNight, Lbry, Equihash, Pascal, X11Gost
This is only current list and of course it can change in the future.

When can I test NHM2.0?

But i need expert help on how to setup a moderate sized scalable mining farm.

Following things need clarification:

1. How do i connect & monitor multiple rigs into one console?
2. How many set of peripherals (Keyboard+Mouse+Monitor) do i need? One for each rig?
3. Its clear that normal frame rig will not work for a farm. So i have to use racks instead. I would like to know, how to size and plan the racks arrangements, dimensioning and the power switch sockets spacing. Any special care to be taken and tricks etc...
4. Can i run my mininig farm on Solar Energy? If yes, suggest the economics and connections. I just read an article about a Solar Powered Mining Farm in Costa Rica that houses 200 Giga Hash Power !!
5. Any other suggestions, tips and recommendations would be appreciated too.

Thanks in advance.

1. KVM switches is what I would use to connect several rigs to a single Monitor, Mouse and Keyboard. You can also use remote viewing options as a potential alternative.
2. See #1
3. There are some outfits that sell open air frames designed for mining, take a look at some of those and see what kind of spacing etc they have. If you are handy and have the time you can make your own, but depending on how valuable your time is to you it may be best to just buy them.
4. Short answer is yes, long answer is it's expensive to set up so try to get a solar company to give you a quote for installation costs before you make any plans.
5. There are several threads in the Altcoin Mining section that are specifically for your questions, with lots of posts, pictures etc... Take a look at the ones called "garage mining" or anything to do with "mining farm".   Smiley

I see over on github there is mention of a Linux Live CD being developed. I just want to point out that it will be pretty handy if it works well with PXE or some other remote boot.

Hello All.

This is my first post here.

I have been Cloud Mining Bitcoin since more than an year now. Now started mining altcoins on my CPU. Planning to start my own Altcoin Mining Farm within a couple of months..

I plan to use Nicehash BPASMAM for my mining farm. So that my rigs will always be mining the most profitable currency and give me the best ROI.

I have an idea about building & setting up a single miner.

But i need expert help on how to setup a moderate sized scalable mining farm.

Love nicehash and how its so easy to use.

However, is there a way to view payout history? On my miner page i can see previous week's payout. Is there a way to view historical payout beyond the past week?

I have read that you can copy newer versions of Claymore's miners over the versions in the NiceHash folder. Can anyone confirm or deny that it works to do that? Thanks.

It works perfect with no issues.

I've already upgraded all my machines to 1.7.5.12 and copied claymore 9.3. no issues

That is why it is odd they did not include it.

but it's a thought I had when I dropped the kids off at the pool

Ah nice! Hopefully the profitability calculation will behave more consistently now.... does this include dual mining profits in the calculation now or is that still a future item? Downloading right away for testing. Smiley

Hi,
If clicked on link within NICEHASH miner itself - it brings me to https://github.com/nicehash/NiceHashMiner/releases/tag/1.7.5.12 from where i cant download latest version, link where it says CHECKSUM - returns 404. I was able to download it from your post here.

It is expected when value of BTC:fiat is rising.
Also, earnings are influenced by marketplace itself.
Thanks for your answer. It is good when you understand why thing are happening. You don't feel yourself so helpless when you do:)
I hope NiceHash miner will soon have an ability to apply overclocking settings individually for each algorithm. There is such an option in settings but NiceHashSupport said it is currently not working.
NiceHash automatic algorithm switching is very helpful but my pc often hangs after switching from equihash because oc settings optimized for it aren't suitable for another algorithms, so I have to mine equihash only.
I think this is a "must have" feature for such a comfy miner.

NiceHash Miner v2+ will be step forward to better mining experience. It will be more modular, so we will be adding new features - mining schedules, intensity settings, hardware grouping and so on. But at the end of the day, it needs to stay pure and simple - and we are working hard to achieve this.

At this point, I'm confident to say that the next big thing in whole crypto will be NiceHash's Excavator.

I have a silly question --- will Excavator a ZEC only miner or a multi-algo miner to replace sgminer perhaps?

Yes, sgminer will be eventually wiped out. No reason to use such old and different serving purposes sw anymore.
