Ethereum has been taken out, because we have DaggerHashimoto which is Ethereum. There is no reason to still have Ethereum, because there are several benefits from DaggerHashimoto (immediate BTC payments, no unexchanged, PPS, stratum, etc...)

Regarding your issue. Could you run ethminer.exe (it is in bin folder) with following parameters and let me know what happens (copy-paste whole output):

if having NVIDIA GPUs:

--benchmark-warmup 40 --benchmark-trial 20  --cuda  --dag-load-mode single 0 --benchmark 1743134

if having AMD GPUs:

Code:

Also, what kind of OS you have? GPUs?

it seems the benchmark got stuck on daggerhashimoto..
its been like 20 minutes and nothing..

the system seems idle.

nice, i like that.. i havent been using this program since i been mining ethereum directly..
i did notice you took ehtereum out completely? do you feel it wont recover?

im running the benchmarks now to see if its more profitable for me.

Does this release support GTX 1070/1080 cards?

Yes. But you may not get optimal mining, no efforts for optimising have been done. And ethminer is not working at all (same as original Genoil's ethminer).

Well I have 11 video cards (220mh/s), my next electric bill will be near $400 and im estimated to make $511 a month (which has been dropping) im pretty close to pulling the plug on ethereum. I pay high kwh fees from June - sept if i go over 600kwh though.

Thank you for replying. At this time, the options aren't flexible or the instructions aren't clear enough to be able to mine like I am on other private miners on other pools. I'll continue to watch and I might come back but for now there are more profitable options on other pools using their own built in functionality.

The Ethereum price has dropped over 40% over the last few days. The difficulty is still rising. It will not be profitable to mine for some people.

NiceHash Miner automatically mines the most profitable altcoin (also Decred, if it is the most profitable), and you are only paid in Bitcoins.

is there any possible way to point this mining tools to mine only decred not btc? just can't see it from the settings btc mining is not profitable anymore so might much better if try another alt.

I'm mining right now on a different miner and I can use my computer much better than when I use nicehash miner. Time to get rid of the Nicehash miner virus. Please don't talk about things you don't know.

Arghhh, this must be some state-of-the-art new-kind-of mining software where Bitmain obviously did try to reinvent the wheel instead of using the working solution (aka cgminer). We'll contact Bitmain and ask them to check what kind of bugs did they introduce in Antiner S9 "BMminer" and will ask them to fix the bugs and make it compatible with NiceHash system. Your version of ethminer won't work on my pc.But,if I download the original ethminer I can mine on a pool with no problems and with a stable hashrate of 15 Mh/s.
