Well, looking at all those charts and drawings I have no f**king clue what's going on.

Thanks for the input Afrikoin but for me that's clear as mud.

I'm not getting at you, it's probably my lack of intelligence.

I am looking at DanV's line in green - large triangle as one possibility

Afrikoin,

if your macroprediction of circa 500 dollars/bitcoin comes true, could you still see realistic possibility of full recovery and reaching new ATH? I am talking about twelve months plus timeframe, obviously.

Losing two thirds of value after cup and handle pattern is obviously worrying as far as future of cryptocurrency is concerned. Cant wait for your input on this.

yes.

even if we drop to $380 (rising trend line), we'll go back to ATH

I am actually waiting for the lowest low to buy in bulk and ride another wave up.

Bitcoin won't die, just shock people, possible hard fork, panic, panic, sell offs, then recovery.

465 dollars would not bankrupt miners, guys. Even though, I understand, that you use this argument to doubt possibility of price falling to this level.

If it will happen, it will be flash crash with price recovering to atleast six hundreds.

Other possibility is forming of triangle in the coming weeks with bottom around 800. Guess, we shall wait and see.

Lol!

That China PBOC spook was a dime!

I imagine people are saying price is going down because of China, yet, price was always going to go down. It was just a matter of time.

I believe this is the beginning of a trend down to $780, $700, $650, $514, $465.

$700 first then reassess

$465 Afrikoin? Surely that would be classed as "The death of Bitcoin". That's not good reading.

I can not imagine how 465 would not bankrupt miners, even Chinese miners.

Hi good bitcoin people!
Could someone share a chart or TA or forecast or something on whats coming next?

Welcome back ;-)

not a chart of much value, but this is what I've been looking at since December last year and how I view the market (less the exaggerations)

This very simply view on the market has proven "valid" in the sense that the market returned to it after the new year hype and "crash" (second half of January)

I excpect this trend to be my friend for a while (until some liftoff event occurs, like some kind of resolution regarding scaling problem)

Trendline are very dangerous already; but drawing them in linear scale ... Could you share the latter with us in log ?

Moreover, regarding your scaling resolution being defined as a liftoff event, this kind of event has got every reason to be priced in before it occurs, hence I don't see in that critical. Nonetheless, a SEC approval and inflow of billions of institutional money is what I call a liftoff event.

We need a Russian speaker on this thread.  I look at those translated Russian postings and see discussion at a higher level than bitcointalk.  But half of it is incomprehensible because of the language barrier and the peculiar idiomatic usage.
There is one. To be honest, the chart he posted is self-explanatory.

He says that it's a good idea to exit current mini-buble at 1000. He then expects mid-term turnaround from 1000 towards 700 or, if it manages to reach 1100, towards 900.

Huge monthly dogi last month on usd charts ... we need to expect volatility (or a lot of calm, which would hardly be possible before SEC decision on ETF). For the moment dogi being confirmed upward, but way to soon (and little volume) to except it to be final answer.
