For the record, there is A LOT of fundamental analysis that goes into my decisions. I spend A LOT of time in the Bitcoin web space! A LOT!

I may not share it here, but when i put up a chart, best know i have come to a conclusion based on my TA and fundamentals.

A spend a ton of time reading online. It is difficult to share all i read and come across here, consider this thread a screenshot of part of my thoughts.

I am planning a bitcoin/blockchain startup, so my head has to be in the news and forums all the time.

When I said "when we follow technicals we sometimes get burned by fundamentals" I was speaking generally, not directing it at you. Yeah, I made my decision based on fundamentals as well. Weighing all indicators, I thought I made the best choice at the time. I guess I was just trying to say "we can't win them all." Anyway, keep up the good work, I appreciate this thread.

(I guess I did get it 80% right since I HODLED 80% of my BTC. Now if only I can find that top, lol.)

wasnt directed at you either.

Why i posted a reply not a quote.

I will say I didn't blindly follow Afrikon... I made my own decision to sell half around $1000 a month ago, I really thought the BU drama would make a bigger splash. For once, FUD got the best of me. I also saw people like Vinny spreading FUD which also made me a little irrational. Honestly I think the 2nd drop to $888 happened BECAUSE of Vinny and his institutional friends panicking over Bitmain DeSantis tweets. Do I regret it? Fuck yes.... I used to NEVER sell bitcoin, especially over stupid FUD. Timing the market is nearly impossible... but the vision of the future is clear imo, the price is going to be much much much higher in 2020 (aside from obvious risks) so why take a chance in timing the market? I got greedy and made a bad move.... shouldve just held like I always do.  I'm not buying back in right now though.... I doubt we'll never see $1200 and below again

I sold about 20% of my Bitcoins (most are in cold storage) around $930. Big mistake on my part. I did not want to listen to Vinny but could not deny his influence on the market. Afrikoin's TA has always been solid, but when we follow technicals we sometimes get burned by fundamentals and the irrational forces of the market.

I did not buy back in below $900 and it was impossible to know that the Bitfinex situation would cause this jump in price. I got stuck in USDT (tether) for about a third of what I sold and ended up paying the tether ratio of 92 cents on the dollar to buy back at $1344 USDT (gulp). At this point I highly doubt we see $900 again. Maybe $1050.

Do I utilize Afrikoin's TA? Yes. Do I blame Afrikoin for my decisions? Never. Will I continue to check this thread? Absolutely. I do think Afrikoin will adjust his targets when conditions call for it. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out with Bitfinex and see how it affects the price.

Meanwhile, ATH on BTCE touched. Bitstamp not far away. Trading also means being flexible. No honour in wanting to be right despite contrary price action. Appreciate the regular updates/charts.

Thanks!

I do not want to be right. I try to keep my options open.

If you have read my thread and all my posts you will see i had more than one option for how this would play out

I remember saying

Head and shoulders
Triple top

Wave B

double top

leading diagonal

i have all these charts on my imugr from 2 months ago. A database  of 1337 pics from 2013.

I don't understand why people have to turn it into a 'you are wrong' and 'we are right argument'. I dont engage with that.

The point of argument and debate is to progress. And right now i am finding some of your comments irrelevant to any meaning full discussion.

Look, it is going up and i can see that. And now i say it could be the leading diagonal i mentioned way back when. Am i wrong? Am i right? I am open to evolving events.

Sigh.

Please, before you yap on here, share a chart, some anlysis, and support. Else, not helping anyone here.

I shared this 2 months ago as one of the many wave 5 top formations. How come none of you brings it up?

You are so fixated on binary "i am right" "you are wrong arguments". You just want to win.

I want to catch the dip.

Please. Spare me the 28 day cyle bitch bleeding drama OK? TY  Smiley
