Because bitcoin has been making higher lows but has not made a new ATH yet there is still a scenario where we revisit $800 which would validate one Elliott Wave count that Afrikoin has presented. A new ATH would invalidate that wave count and indicate that we are either in 3 or 5 depending on how you count your waves.
It looks like februari all over if you ask me. Oversold pump and a big dump afterwards. Pump to 1400-1500 USD and dup back to 1069 USD.
New guys need to learn patience with bitcoin and just hold for the long term. Right now everyone who bought under $1200 is in profit. It might have taken a few years depending on where you bought. Bitcoin will always have $250 to $300 down days where some news causes a one or two day crash which lets you buy at a good price. Calling bottoms is tough.

Funny you say I'm so sure of to da moon when I never called for ATHs; my entire point during my last posts was based on Afrikoin's 100% certainty that $800 will be retested, with the backing of "Vinny Lingham indicator". He even advised people not to buy because the market will go back down.
Regarding analysis, I did want to post a chart at one point but the thread was locked so I completely forgot. One doesn't need very much analysis if he just looks at the chart and sees what the candles show, instead of seeing what he wants to believe is true.
A bull market doesn't offer many chances to buy low, just like a bear market doesn't offer many chances to sell high. If you can sell "high" around the same price, repeatedly, thinking that it's a good sell, it's probably not.
edit: what's Vinny's integrity got to do with anything? My remark was based on his tweet from which I understood that he's upset (or better put, butt hurt) that people are buying on Bfx while he thinks the situation is similar to Mt Gox, basically arguing with the market.

When on the wrong side of the market, one keeps trying to find reasons or excuses why he might be right. That's how losses just snowball away...
One needs a set a big balls to admit he's wrong and revert his position, but I suspect that's not the case

At the very least Vnny made the guess under his own name and risks his integrity. Unless we broke previous ATH without retesting 850... he was still not proven wrong
you seem so damn sure we are on straight road "to da Moon", yet you presented very little analysis... or humility on your own part, Mr. Judge. I smell envy...Hope, you can prove us wrong, but I suspect thats not the case and if retest is on the table, you will go awol for several weeks.

The last uptrend lasted too long and improved market indicators, so the ABC completed (I was waiting for the C

Sounds about right. I really can't see us going under 1000$
The Segwit controversy for the chickun may give us some clues about what could happen to bitcoin, so I'll keep an eye on chickun news.
