After not playing poker for a long time, I finally tried the 5 mBTC GTD Buy-in poker tournament using the little money I had in my wallet.
As a result, I won first place in the tournament. It is just, I didn't read the details of the tournament in advance, so I was surprised that people were still able to register during the tournament and players were also able to refill their chips after losing.

Congratulations, yeah rebuy means rebuy  Cheesy . Nowadays almost every tournament in online poker has late registrations. They make this to reach the guaranteed price pool and not lose money, same with the rebuy. It's for preventing overlays.

I never liked nitro poker to be honest. The tournament structure is too fast, blinds go up too fast and starting stacks are low. Also there are only a few tournaments.

Worst of all, site is infested with bot players and people with multiple accounts so colluding is a big thing. Reported several accounts years ago when I played there and they never took any action or responsibility.

Multi-accounting and bots are not issues that are commonly affecting our clients. Having said that, we are actively making changes around the poker in order to improve our user experience. Just recently we made a major overhaul to our tournament structure and activated a Rakeback bonus for our clients. Collusion reports are a reality and our Security team and Poker team actively follow up on any claims. In the rare case where a client felt the resolution to their report was incorrect, Nitrobetting.eu is more then willing to review and even subject our data for review. You can also contact our CS department anytime and have your complaint or comments reviewed by our Poker agents.

Bitcoin Betting Beginner’s Guide
Some players, you might be one, are hesitant to play with bitcoin. Even if they understand what bitcoin is and why they should consider making wagers via BTC, they don’t understand enough about it to take the plunge.

Because of misunderstandings regarding bitcoin betting, we decided to come up with this handy guide that, hopefully, puts your bitcoin betting fears to rest.

A Closer Look on How to Gamble with BitcoinUnderstanding the difference between BTC and mBTC

You don’t bet in BTC. The price of a single bitcoin on May 11, 2023 was around $26,900. Instead, you bet in mBTC.

An mBTC is 1/1000th of a BTC. So a single mBTC on May 11, 2023, was $26.90. It’s important to understand this before moving to the guide.

Create a crypto send and receive account on Coinbase or some other facilitator

You must create an account with a company like Coinbase for you to store your crypto. Consider creating a Coinbase or CashApp account because those two are most friendly to bitcoin novices.

Once you create your Coinbase, or other account, you will see that you can trade a multitude of cryptos. You can go as far down the rabbit hole as you’d like. For our purposes we’re going to stick with BTC.

Add BTC to your send/receive crypto account

Companies like Coinbase allow you to purchase bitcoin with a debit card. Purchase as much bitcoin as you’d like.

One thing to remember is that most organizations like Coinbase will require you to verify your identity. Even then, they may place a hold on your BTC purchase. So it’s best to create your send/receive crypto account well before you plan on gambling.

Nitrobetting.eu is an anonymous platform. The account ownership process does not require sending copy of ID or any personal info. The rule is in place because of very rare instances where identity verification may be necessary, but in over 10 years we have no single case where that was the case. We don't ask for name, address, or other info, which means that any form of KYC is not necessary for this process (account ownership).
Thanks for the clarification with the account ownership but I think you misunderstood what we're talking about though.

AHOYBRAUSE was referring to the forum account related to your former sportsbook which is NitrogenSports since it had a bunch of negative feedback that wasn't solved.

Instead of answering this strange post I would rather like to know why OP's feedback rating is so clean while their previous (sister) site has a lot of red feedback?

Wouldn't it be fair to transfer these feedbacks since it's confirmed the same people running this site/account as the original nitrogensports?
I'd agree but it's probably best to bring that topic to the Reputation section and see if the other trusted members would be willing to move or follow up the old feedback on the new account.

I am wondering about the development of Nitrobetting Sportsbook product. Recently you removed a lot of markets/leagues you have been covering in the past. It looks like you are no more offering any leagues apart from main markets. Are there any plans to bring back those lower markets into sportsbook again?
Don't they have limited markets before? anyway, it's hard to expect much as that would depend on their current odds provider.

Just to clarify. We do not request KYC. It has never been a requirement and never will. Our ownership process is internal and does adhere to our anonymity policy. No personal data is required at any point of the ownership.

Well you should get your story straight because your terms say something different.

What else would "valid proof of identification" be when not KYC? haha
This support is hilarious. Maybe read your own terms again before answering here.

I just browsed nitrobetting's TOS just for fun and found an interesting information.

This might just be the most ridiculous rule at a casino/sportsbook I have ever seen.

If for any reason you dont play/deposit/withdraw for 1 year they just take your funds. Of course MIGHT get them back after kyc, but obviously that is not a given.
And on top of that they charge you 10% of your balance for no reason at all.

Things happen in life, you go to hospital, lose your phone/computer and can't login, even go to jail maybe. If that happens to you nitro will take full advantage of that, that's how nice they are.

Nitrobetting is pulling the same sketchy stuff they did with their previous site nitrogensports (which has plenty or red trust here), nothing has changed.

It used to be a good sportsbook. I remember chatting there for hours and getting decent wins while having some of the mods to talk to. Support was fast, misgraded slips are rectified pretty easily, and everything just went smooth. I heard of their rebranding but never bothered to look at its direction anymore after a lot of former loyal patrons of the site voiced out their opinions against the said platform.

These kinds of ToS, you'll only see in the banks. They'll argue it's for system and maintenance fee because you're using resources that they could free up to other people. If nitrobetting use that same excuse as to why they are taking the funds out of a dormant's account after a year, I'm pretty sure a lot of people will pull their funds out because it simply doesn't make sense as a bookie.

Dormant account policy is not new and most of the casino have this kind of terms in their ToS. It’s fair that a year of inactivity should be subjected on this terms since the casino is not a bank for holding funds. Players should withdraw all the balance the moment they stop gambling.

What I just find odd is the KYC requirements since a user can login back using same IP that he use before he became inactive to verify that he is the real owner. Besides that, 10% fee is not bad because other casino charge more than that to all dormant. I will not drop names but you can check other casino ToS to find it for yourself.

In the meantime, you can browse this https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--5419372 thread for this kind of discussion.

Hi everyone!

This rule has been in place for years, even under the old site. As you can see from the fact there have been no reported issues with old accounts, there is nothing suspicious or problematic about the rule.

The rule was put in place around 2019-2020 when we realized dormant account funds were a risk and that possible account hacking could result in real clients losing their funds. Clients have the option to use a 2FA for extra security, but not all clients do and some deactivate the 2FA, and their funds are left unsecured for months, then years.  Therefore balances were removed/frozen as a precaution but for years they have been returned to clients and we haven't even bothered to charge a fee. As with any other sportsbook, our main concern is to reactivate clients and have them play again. So any case where account funds were removed and we were later contacted, we simply complete an ownership process with the client, and then funds are returned. The anonymity of our platform simply required that we added an extra security step in order to safeguard funds.

Having said that, and knowing full well the seasonal nature of our business (clients stop using their accounts for months at a time), we specifically collect funds after much more than 12 months of inactivity. This is a time frame we feel comfortable with and given the fact we have ten of thousands of inactive accounts, we felt it was safer to apply an extra verification process than running the risk of clients losing their funds.

We do not request KYC. Never has been a policy and never will. Our ownership process is internal and does adhere to our anonymity policy.

Thanks!
