If your country is banned but the people from there are allowed by Nitrogensports to access their website with a VPN, then would it not be contrary to the ban?
Also it is the cheaters who use VPNs. I reckon it would be better to ban VPNs, proxies and others. There should only be one IP for one user allowed to access a gambling site. That should be a special rule.
While I can understand some of the points you bring up (using a VPN allows people to get around country restrictions which probably isn't what Nitrogen wants), the latter comments you made are fairly ignorant to be quite honest.
I'm not attempting to make assumptions about your lifestyle, but some of us (like me) have a life where we travel, go to work, like to visit different parts of our city, countries, etc. You've never logged into Nitrogen Sports from your phone while on the go or while connected to a public wifi hotspot (which you really should only be doing with a VPN unless you enjoy getting your information stolen)? Or maybe you go to school or work and you've logged in via your internet there? Guessing these all are different IPs, right?
There are plenty of legitimate reasons for having different IPs in accessing any site, not just a gambling site. Unless you live in a box (that has internet) and you never leave to do anything else. Ever. Who does that, haha?
That's the challenge Nitrogen's fraud team has - a simple blanket ban of any user who uses multiple IPs would probably eliminate the VAST majority of their clientele. Wrongly, might I add. But yes, I'm sure people try to use multiple IPs/VPNs to defraud Nitrogen, but that's almost certainly not the only thing they do. Think about it.
Wanted to reflect on this as I am going through this issue currently and support is not even passing on my messages to security and is acting as a buffer for them.
Few things I am bouncing into with this issue that got me thinking a little. They accuse me of sharing a connection that overlaps with another player and I tell them this happens with vpn use and they state vpn use was not the main factor for banning me. They claim location, poker and activity where the reasons. I play once a week in a freeroll of 600 plus players, so my activity is clear as day. They offer me no hand histories that show a pattern of chipdumping, which would be the only reason I can think of me playing more than one account.
The second response I get tells me vpn is not the main factor, yet the first message states the opposite.
So when I request a withdrawal they review my account, right! Sure,ok maybe.
That means that they only review us when we win and most gamblers lose long term due to the nature of the beast. That means they are angling their players by stripping the few players that win that use vpn. Not clearing this aspect up allows them to continue doing this and I have attempted to get them to answer this question clearly.
Think their poker side will die if this continues and I have to say the reason I requested a withdrawal in the first place.
6 man table with 3 accounts sitting out leaving me with 2 other players that would continue to squeeze me in between them.
Got pissed off and got it in good on 2 hands back to back to get rivered both times. Will see if I can get those hands to show, it was gross.
Here is my discussion with them so far and I will post those hands if I can get access to them:(First to last is the order)

Hello 4932039,
After thorough review from our team, we found that your location overlaps another accounts with poker activity as well.

If I broke a rule using a vpn I am sorry for doing so and I did not see anything against it in the rules or I would have stayed clear of using such a feature. Have had hard times registering in the past due to a player fro m my location already being registered but that happens a lot. I just try a new location and boom I am registered. Always thought it was odd.
Please point me to the vpn rule and I will except my lumps and leave.
Thanks for letting me know that there was a issue with this before I put more funds on here.

Hello 4932039,
The decision taken by our Security Team is based in an exhausting investigation we have done with all the accounts related.
It is not due to the use of a VPN alone. It is based on multiple accounts related by activity, locations and Poker.
As stated before, our Company reserves the right to close accounts and seize funds at any time if we find irregular activity.
This decision is final and won't be reversed.
Best regards,
Saul.

Hello Saul.
You seem to have a mixed message with Seth as he states I shared a location with one other player and he states this as the main reason.
Have explained that I use vpn and you are pointing to activity and poker as the other two reasons. I play the bitace freeroll with 600 other players are you banning them? Thats the poker aspect you mention and I see no indication of hand histories to show chip dumping which mulitple account players would be doing. So that leaves me with activity and I barely have any till I cashed.
Forgive me but this evidence and excuse given seems a bit weak and you still dodge my question of vpn use being against the rules. You indicate it was a reason but do not say if you have a rule against it. I am asking because I find this shady and I think people on the forums I am posting on want clear answer to this question as well.
As we stand you have illegally taken funds fro m my account and cancelled a wager with a gesture to my vpn use and yet it shows no where in the rules. See how I see things?
Forgive me for my crass response but you have take funds I earned legit and this feels unjust to be sure. The extra rub was why I was withdrawing in the first place and it was due to the cheating I faced on the cash tables. Go review those players sitting out to fill the table against me if you want real cheats.
Anyways I hold out for my funds to be returned or at least a clear reasoning for banning me.
Have posted in a few forums and google searches are bringing up quite a few players that faced this issue with nitrogen.
So I will wait on a response but at this point they just stole my funds.
