How will Florin be different from the disaster that is Gulden? You have the same team that couldn't get exchange listings or proper marketing done in 8 years. Blockhut is a shit service that only offers the ability for Rijk to sell the Gulden dev reward. Please enlighten me, I am all ears.
The main difference is Florins premine was sold to a group of investors and they pay the team for Development.
Gulden community, traders, independent investors etc pays the team for development for the last 8 years but the shortcoming is the Gulden price is too low to have money for exchange listings and marketing. Gulden might get some mentions in marketing by the rich Florin investors
but we will see.
I can speak from a perspective that I am financially free. Gulden paid off my debts in 2017 and my HEX investment has secured my financial freedom, therfore I am in a position where I wouldn't sell the Gulden I owned unless the price was > €1 .
I was one of the traders that tried to keep the price above what was required for development but after Novo was announced I became skeptical that development for Gulden would cease to exist or at best receive minor updates while Novo and now Florin got all the attention.
At this stage my skeptism has proven correct, Gulden has only received a change in supply and reward update to appease the Gulden community in the last 2 years, this move saved the coin from a price of under 10 sat. It's doubtful we will see another development update for Gulden in 2022 and it's assumed Rijk will need to appease the new Florin investors.
Rijk has admitted according to other posts here that he has no more personal Gulden and if the founder has no Gulden then why should he care. His development costs are taken care of by the Florin investors and his own personal investment is tied up in Florin.
The conclusion is Gulden is getting a bad deal.
Would I invest in Florin?Out of principle I will stay clear, because in 4 years the Florin whales will be blamed for him starting a new coin after he has sold all his florin and it's left to the "decentralised community" to make it work. Rinse and Repeat [take 3].
The answer is clear as to which of these 2 coins you should take a risk on if you can't find anything else of value in the crypto market.
