Read the message on telegram, we have all been scammed. I wasn't 100% sure with Florin but with this I am 100% sure Rijk is a scammer. He sold all his Gulden, he has nothing left to gain personally and needs another premine.

De nieuwe Gulden

Hoeveelheid nader te bepalen, maar belangrijk onderdeel: grote premine. Om de volgende reden: Guldens worden verkocht via Blockhut en de ontvangen euro's worden meteen omgezet naar Bitcoin. Deze Bitcoin wordt decentraal dmv multisig (Stichting oid, nieuwe GAB, enz.) bewaard en is de dekking van Gulden. Waar vroeger de Gulden werd gedekt door goud, wordt de nieuwe Gulden minimaal gedekt door digitaal goud: Bitcoin. Waarbij natuurlijk ook rekening moet worden gehouden met ontwikkelingskosten, maar dat is inmiddels zo inzichtelijk en helder, dat we precies weten wat er nodig is.

Iedere koper moet door een KYC proces, waarmee we meteen aan alle toekomstige wetgeving voldoen en ook meteen een "glassnode" site kunnen opzetten, dus geldstromen zijn inzichtelijk en witwassen/fraude wordt voorkomen. Waarbij privacy natuurlijk wel voorop staat, maar nu al is niet aan deze regels te ontkomen, dus beter de boel voor zijn. En we zitten hier ook niet voor fraude, juist niet.

De focus is betaalmiddel, maar andere functionaliteiten moeten ook mogelijk zijn in de toekomst.

Er moeten snel grote exchanges komen, dat is iets waar ik me wel op wil storten. Een top 20 exchange moet haalbaar zijn als we het samen funden en ik kan ook op zoek naar nieuwe investeerders (er is al interesse).

De oude Gulden

De oude "Gulden" krijgt een andere naam en blijft gewoon doorgaan en wordt ook gewoon doorontwikkeld, het is tenslotte dezelfde code en ook interessant om die chain als "testchain" te gebruiken. Het lijkt me goed om te focussen op de unieke Witness functionaliteit.

Er komt geen swap mogelijkheid oid, want de nieuwe Gulden moet echt waarde krijgen en dat kan niet als we kosteloos gaan swappen.

I plan to walk away with €10000 , price needs to go to €476.

30k lost in a month

Anyone investing in Florin don't forget to keep your word recovery in a safe place. I couldn't for the life of me remember my wallet password when I tried to send coins. I first tried to use the wallet.dat backup but it still needed the wallet password, then I restored from the word recovery and I could set a new password. That would of been over €3000 lost forever!!

You see Limey, a bit of patience, ATH incoming.

Well he did add a lot of new features to the block explorer, so it does take time. And the fact that he kinda lost interest is kinda what i am saying ;-)

A block explorer does not take effort to maintain , I run one for another coin. It's only the initial config and making sure your hosting site has no issues from time to time. He lost interest in crypto is the more accurate explanation.

Then he wouldnt stop the Florin dactual because he holds Florin also. He just made a decision to put his free time into his family in stead of crypto. Admirable choice imho

...or he got tired of the whales keeping the Gulden price down?

Did you read why he stops? Has nothing to do with Gulden or Florin, but time for family.

Funny that lead dev and an extra hired core dev are working weeks on fixing a critical bug in Gulden.

I read on Telegram the guy who runs Dactual is stopping the service on 4th April. This is confirmed on dactual.com . More people see the writing on the wall and double standards towards Florin from the ex Captain.

Place sell orders and wait a few months, why do traders keep dumping the price.

1000 florin reward a month and if no new buy support florin has enough canon fodder for 10 days above 100k sats without new buyers but worse if more sellers. Lower the block remuneration to 0.01 and this problem goes away.

@Doxter the block reward is fine as miners only receive 0.025. I am only starting to sell my mining earnings from last Friday and I am keeping 40 florin for a better price.

Don't expect the Gulden community to keep taking the abuse, people will leave and never look back if anymore selfish decisions take place.

Gulden is very special coin because every week many new coins are released and hyped and Gulden still remains on peoples radar. Gulden has more buy support and easier to sell if you need to sell.
Florin is a better coin to mine because each block rewards a lot more money then Gulden and you have a chance for the price to go higher in a short time, when Rijk announced the new investors the price went up a lot and users are waiting to see what the investors do next.

That won't be acceptable in 2022 due to the existence of Florin which has taken the time away from Gulden development, I won't be surprised and the Gulden community should not surprised if all the development releases will be for Florin in the near future.

Leave Gulden as is , the reward is more then fair for what Gulden is receiving in the last 2 years when Florin was started as Novo!!!!

Block reward remuneration is too good at this price. Drop the reward to 0.01 per block and the miners and holders will earn the same value at $1300, decrease max supply to 145000 to home run the idea it's a coin for scarcity.

Double or triple the Gulden trough reward to pay for development, that Gulden community is mentally trained to take abuse and they will like the idea. imho
