The people with gambling as fun will not think for the profit.Gambler use their money to get extra thrill from it.Because using really money is not same like game which not involved of any money.When we win a price amount from the gambling,it will give more excitement to you.If the gambler play with the fun motive,the will not talk about the money was loss in the gambling.The people with more problems solving techniques can create a gambling sites and works with good intentions of having fun.Not all the money was used in the profit movie.

Emotional discomfort like anger, pain, doubt, despair, guilt, hatred and many more are the effects if you do not fully accept and understand the risk and the nature of the gambling. If you do not wager a big amount of money, then you will not experience any kind of negative emotions. Being a neutral state is the key for us to become a successful gambler, it is not easy and that is the reason why only few people who are keep making big bucks in gambling.

Losses in gambling is really normal, what's not normal is you keep getting emotional discomfort or what I called negative emotion because of gambling. It is really dangerous if you keep negative thoughts and negative emotions dwells on you because there is a high possibility that you can make a very bad decision. That is the reason why we should always observe our self for us to be aware to our current emotion and state.

Indeed, if you do not spend too much on gambling and it does not develop into addiction, there is nothing to worry about, you do not mourn the money spent on good wine after you have enjoyed both the wine itself and the company in which you used it.

Gamblers who gambling for fun doesn't think like this. Most gamblers bet their money for fun to have a thrilling effect to them whether it's a win or lose. And losing your bet doesn't always talks about your money if you aim to profit by gambling. It might have different meaning such as having a nice competition or tournament who gave a good match for people to watch which they bet for those who they think will win. Having those excitement with money involves is just a exciting moments for the gamblers. I always do gambling for fun like earlier I played chess with money involved, but in a few moves I lost. But I never thought like this but it makes me feel focused and thinking every move. After I lost I never thought about the money but about how bad I am. Which is fun, I suggest you to not do gambling if your just aiming to profit rather than enjoy.

Well, they can tell you this because that's what they think, you can deny it if you think it's not true in your case. Besides, don't you think you should have thought of not betting before doing it instead of regretting it later? As they say, you should only gamble what you can afford to lose. So you should have only bet with the money allocated for gambling so that you won't regret it when you lost, and think that it's okay, you sometimes win and sometimes lose.

The way you take gambling, I don't really think that you actually enjoy betting or even gambling but you only do it to earn profits out of it, and if that's true, you need to change your mindset or it will be even more difficult for you.

there are also some gambler that has no self control but cannot be consider as addict instead they are those type of people that risk taker , meaning they wanted to try hard to win, even if they spent more money than what they can earn  but eventually as they become mature in this area?

Well, I believe that the meaning of no bet is a waste isn't really what the sentence itself says, but it is simply a reference to the fact that when you lose something, you learn something. Remember, when we win, we just win, but when we lose, we learn something extra if we know in what way the loss should be taken.

If a loss is taken negatively, that can damage your mind and make you keep thinking about it again and again, but if taken positively, it can motivate you to do better the next time, and you will realize that whatever you had lost in the previous bet, wasn't basically a loss if it taught you to be stronger.

I wondered it too, lost game is already a wasted game so I don't also see it as the otherwise. Though that might be hope or encouragement to continue gambling. But one the Op has to understand that what you win win will never compare to what you have lost. You lost $500,000 and win $200,000 for a very long period of time and you want to tell me it is not a waste. We should be sincere to ourselves some times, even the smallest amount of money lost in a bet pains someone and automatically it is waste.
