If daily volume for coin is 1 BTC or +-, then it will not be listed on coinmarketcap. Only coins with normal volume will be listed there.

some coins do not enter coinmarketcap due to daily volume shortage, and the requirement to enter one of the coinmarketcap daily trading volume is $50K, so you do not have to hesitate to buy a coin / token, even if the coin has not entered coinmarketcap Wink

If I am not mistaken then that the coin has been added to the coinmarketcap, it should have a daily volume of more than 50 thousand dollars at least few days. And if the coin does not have this volume then it is shitcoin. And investments in it are very risky

Thanks a lot for sharing this information in this forum as this is the need of the hour because last year there was a trend that people will invest in those coins which was under $1 expecting it to grow higher and give more profit without knowing about its transaction or volume.

There are coins which haven't listed yet, but have listed to the exchanges. As users suggested it is good to study the real growth and make the decision on investing.

If it is a start up ICO it will take time to be listed in coinmarketcap but if the minimum volume of trade or the requirements are met, coinmarketcap listing is easy. If it listed in a trading platform and after a year it is not yet listed in coinmarketcap,don't buy it.

Listing on coinmarketcap is not always important. Besides, you need to know about a coin before deciding whether we should buy it or not. A coin has its own strength and weakness. Learn about them and their technologies will give us a chance to make a right decision

If there are no coins on the coinmarketcap, then in most cases it is a bad project. I would not invest and I do not advise you.

Firstly, It should not buy.
Secondly, Sometimes it can be good project, but late for adding on Coinmarketcap.

yes I agree. buy coins are not listed on coinmarketcap has a big risk, may be you will lose your money if you buy it. recently many new coins are scam, it is difficult to differentiate which coins are legit and which are scam, especially if we do not have enough experience about it.

It seems some new coins not getting listed on coinmarketcap immediately after listing on exchanges with enough volume. I think that happen because now a days lot of new coins entering to the market and also they are getting listed on more than 1500 exchanges. I think CMC need to improve this coin listing process.

Coins wil lbe automatically be listed in coinmarketcap if and only if they have reached a centertain amount of trading volume ,threashold as far as i know is $50,000 per day so these projects will be listed in coinmarketcap.Not all the listed coin in the coinmarketcap are good to buy usually you need to do a lot of research for you to know which is which.

There are many coins that are not listed on CMC but are good investments. After they get into the charts the price tends to go up so in fact it is potentially better to buy coins before they get listed. Problem is finding a good one e.g. an ICO that has successfully completed to acquire funding for future development.

Every platform have there own rule or regulation's if any coin does'n fulfill the requirement's of coinmarketcap, then it can not be listed there. if any coin fulfill all the requirements of the coinmarketcap then it can easily listed there.

Depend with the coins, read their whitepaper and roadmap before buy them. You have to know if the coins you want to buy is going to where and how worthy those coins for the markets in the future.

Where did you see the coin? market exchange? I think it's a bit extream and pretty dangerous if you care about your assets. but if you want and your expectations the price will go high it's your own choice.
but I think that's a bad choice because looking at coin prices and with the announcement and coin developers it should be done. And coinmarketcap is not only a list coin for price and chart but provides detailed information about the coin. such as announcement. detail about etc.

the altcoins are registered in exchange sites, so if you noticed some of the exchange sites doesn't have some of the alt coins of the other trading sites, because the owner of those coins need to register on that coins
with regards to your question some of the coins not really registered on trading sites or exchange sites are good, in order to identify check their platforms, is the finish products etc. I have read on how to lessen the risk of investing a crashing coin here. try to read okie ?
