Betting exchanges are usually safe you're right but unfortunately the one you mention doesn't accept cryptos afaik, some of them are listed in this thread though https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/betting-exchanges-like-betfair-exbit-etc-5415332
Yeah. Betfair doesn't accept crypto as of now which is dumb and weird, but there are plenty of great alternatives out there like Fairlay which has decent liquidities and pinnacle odds, but they aren't accepting new registrations anymore.

Also, Orbitx(Betinasia) is another great alternative where crypto is accepted and it mirrors Betfair's odds and liquidities.

Does anyone know any bookmakers with a wide line that are not scams, it doesn?t matter whether it?s a crypto bookmaker or a regular bookmaker like bet365 alternative  ?
Why only mentioned the site that you trusted when it seems like you are being scammed already in the past, best to put the site names here so we can be aware.

there are lots of popular and trusted sports book here , those are mentioned above or just click our signature to check and look personally.

also check the Scam section and the reputation for better playing and safer

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=129.0

checking those section will not hurt you but will surely help you .

Now here it seems like they are no longer heard of but unfortunately out there on several social media the name of the site is still circulating to promote themselves.
Both of you are talking about two different books(1xbet and 1xbit) which are part of the same organization though and are 100% scams. They attract punters through their higher than average odds with low to no vig.

1xbit stopped promoting themselves temporarily or permanently in Bitcointalk since they have little to no support here.

they supporters , those accounts that advertising them though we don't know if they are even gamblers  Grin

and how can they continue campaigning when they are gaining zero players from Bitcointalk.org members.

Guys, he is looking for bookmakers.
Stake has a terrible sportsbook with even worse odds, total waste of time.

On most other bookies you get at least 10% better odds than stake. Even sportsbet.io has better odd, even though they are using the same odds provider. Shows you how greedy stake is.
I shared this some days ago. At basketball odds are bad but not as bad as on for example volleyball or tennis.
Still pinnacle is much better.

The best odds you will always get at pinnacle or betfair. Betfair surely is great but since it's a betting exchange this might have a huge impact on limits. If nobody is offering odds then there is nothing to bet on of course.

Pinnacle on the other hand has the best odds online in my opinion. Sure the live betting is not as big and fancy as bet365 but if you don't care about live this is the site you want to use.
They also offer crypto deposits and withdrawals now, the money in the account though is always converted into a chosen currency.
Could you point out the post where you've made this comparison please I didn't see it? It's very interesting to be aware of this, because you will hardly make profits if odds are lower than elsewhere. RTPs of sport bets are usually lower than casino games and slots, so if the ones of this bookmaker are even lower than other ones, bettors will have to be very talented or lucky to not lose money there, without even talking about usual withdrawal issues.

I agree with the previous speakers, however, one case often happens even to the best company, but when the number of people is large, it means something, as in the case of 1xBet, where for me it is obviously a scam for larger amounts of money and then what they require, the shoe number, is ridiculous but there are people who play, not necessarily win, who will praise. Here is a comparison engine, 100 companies, many filters, such as limits, live, rating, etc. Worth a look.
https://www.top100bookmakers.com/rating.php
There are some gamblers who state that they have tried to do research directly playing in 1xbet by depositing small amounts of money and winning small profits but 1xbit pays them and accepts the withdrawals made.
Then on the second try deposited slightly larger amount of money and then got some winnings but when wanted to withdraw the site froze the account and didn't pay out.
From what has happened it is clear that shady sites like this give away one or two wins before cheating their customers or simply taking larger amounts of money.

Now here it seems like they are no longer heard of but unfortunately out there on several social media the name of the site is still circulating to promote themselves.

There’s a lot of sportsbooks today that offers real services and you can follow most of the suggestion here, what you can do is to try it and look for what’s best for you since you might find some site not ok to you even if its one of the most recommended site here. You can try stake, rollbit and sportsbet they are the casino leader when it comes to sports betting, analyze it and of course understand their terms before trying.

If the OP just browses through the ANN threads of the gambling section, he could easily find some of the good and trusted sportsbooks ---------- snip

All ANN threads to save search time.

This search is different from Google where he may also google the sportsbook, but there is no guarantee that Google displays scam sportsbooks too as the ranking on Google is mostly based on SEO and they do not have information about the trusted or scam sites being displayed in the search results.

All the good sportsbooks have already been suggested, though there are many, but only a few sportsbooks here in the forum are popular, and their names have already been suggested. These people are sharing their recommendations based on their experience. They've been in the forum for a while, so they can tell if a sportsbook site is a scam or not and whether it caters to a wide market.

Now, it's your turn to try and maybe share your experience here. This way, you can also assist some newbies who are searching for a reputable sportsbook.

This is just what I recommend and I played on them already. Roobet, Rollbit, Duelbits, Stake, and Bitcasino. Now that I've given you the list, it's your turn to research on them if they're legit or not but there are way too many reviews to look up to on these casinos so you'll not scratch your head to look for them.

shuffle.com which I am promoting you can use the link from my signature room for you to bet on sportsbooks.
Op, to have a good gaming experience, do your own research.

My honest answer, choose a site that has the best reputation and has been operating for a long time, like some of the recommendations here. The guarantee I don't know is whether it will lead to fraud, but most of them are very active there without complaints of fraud.

Based on my personal experience, I can suggest the following sportsbooks.

1-duelbits.com
2-sportsbet.io
3-rollbit.com
4-Roobet.com

Actually, most casinos these days also offer sportsbooks. If you explore the forum, particularly the gambling section, you'll find many sportsbooks to choose from. The sportsbooks I've recommended are based on my personal experience, and they have a wide selection of lines. It's important to know that some sportsbooks might have the same bookmakers, meaning their odds and markets are quite similar. The key difference often lies in the reputation of the sportsbook.

This has nothing to do with greed or whatever, we all know that the more gamblers are betting on a team to win a match, the odds of that team will be coming down while the odd of the opposite side will be increasing bit by bit, and will also come down if a gambler bets on them.

So maybe this is where the whole difference lies, Stake has far more users when compared to Pinnacle, so for me, it is absolutely normal that there be a slight difference in the odds of sports games from both casinos.

I am sure willing to accept correction just in case i am wrong in my assertion or assumptions.
Lmao. You are wrong in more ways than one. Do you have any idea how big Pinnacle is? They are easily one of the top-3 sportsbooks in the world which is why there are far more punters betting there when compared to Stake.

Also, the number of users has nothing to do with betting odds. What @Ahoy was talking about is called vig or juice which is sportsbook commission basically and is higher in Stake when compared to Pinnacle.

Stake has a decent sportsbook, but it doesn't hold a candle to Pinnacle in my opinion.

There are many crypto sports books but it's better if you can find out for yourself which ones are good and which ones bad. I suggest you a sports book and when someone else suggests another sports book, which one do you accept? That's why you need to look at the reviews of various crypto sportsbook platforms. When most people's reviews say something more positive about a platform, that platform will undoubtedly be better. In this case you should carefully observe the ANN threads of various crypto sportsbook platforms. After that you can take a decision by observing the opinions of the forum users.

I don't wanna be bias with my recommendation so I suggest you look at this section, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0.... judge it for yourself, read some feedback to know if a certain sportsbook is reliable or not. You can also check the OP's profile to see about it's specific feedback, red means negative trust, bad feedback.

I am not very much familiar with how odds works or how casinos are able to find the right odds for every sports games out there, but you mentioned that both Stake and Pinnacle make use of the same odd provider, if this information be correct, then i would honestly say that, maybe the slight differences in the odds of the same matches from both of the casinos probably lies in the number of users both casinos respectively have and are betting on the games.

You can see a lot of bookmakers who is not a scammer.  You may use any bookmakers who has signature campaign on the forum. I am saying signature campaign because those who haa a signature campaign checked by lot of people. So if they are scammer they will be caught.
At the current stage,  we have recorded higher number of legit bookmakers who's presence are active here in the forum and also on their support page,  a lot of time we have noticed that most of those who have one issue or the others have gotten the problems resolved,  this shows how legit those bookmakers are and though that active response and constant updates over the years have shown that indeed the bookmakers value the reputation and business as large.

Mind you,  be for you to trust any bookmaker you have to first of all check how active they are on a person's research and not based on individuals or influencers' comments.

The OP should move this thread to the gambling discussion board.
But in any case, he is right to visit the board here because he can already get good insights from players in this forum.
And in this board alone, he can already check reputable and known bookies. Check their trust summary as well as feedbacks.
There are several top bookies here that can very well afford high rollers without a problem.

The only sportsbooks that don't and can't scam winners are the fully decentralized ones, the ones using parimutuel betting schemes and betting exchanges. We could add the custodial ones using open liquidity pools but since we can't exclude they are investing in the liquidity pools they use, they are not as safe as the other since they can scam winners in order to protect the liquidity pools in which they've put their funds. In addition if they manage the liquidity pools and take fees from them they will want to be able to offer attracting ROI in order to get more investors.
