Has anyone participating in the alpha got some token this week?
On my side, alpha.sparc.network shows BOINC WUs done with increased on some projects, but zero SPARC allocated... Strange...

Im hoping SPARC only get half the amount they are looking for and burn a billion tokens.wow.... I mean i really do hope they get all the money and even more so they have the freedom to develop a great product without worries...

On first look you have great idea, finally we can have some real gains in science from ICO.
Supercomputer has left no charm anymore we already had a lot of in a row and waiting to see when they will deliver. I'm not interested to invest into a new project and put my money on long hold like happening with XEL, GNT and many more we have.
Why not when you can get each token for 1 cent at the moment?
I've been using BOINC for the last 4 months and I'm excited to you guys working together. I think this is a great and actually useful way of using processing power and electricity.

SPARC is a token that balances the supply and demand for compute resources. The Distributed Compute Protocol (DCP) sits atop TCP/IP on the internet and will allow any device with a modern browser to gain tokens by providing the compute power supply. I hope this answers your question -- Douglas CEO

hmm supercomputer reminds me of sonm, what is the difference between sparc with sonm? 
Good question. Whereas Golem and Sonm are targeting the native realm using docker contianers and GO (language), we are targeting the web realm, using web-standard technologies and the node package manager. Whereas Golem and Sonm are building application layers, we are pushing for a protocol that pairs with the ip suite (https/tcp/ip). We plan to promote the specification as a general purpose dynamic compute protocol.
