Hello, I checked out all the team's LinkedIn profiles and not one of the members of the team have this project listed on there LinkedIn profile, which makes it feel as this is a side project?

I'm assuming the pre-ICO and ICO raise is to see if this a viable business before going full time on it?

We've launched our updated website!

Have a look!

What currencies are you accepting for the presale?

We will be accepting only ethereum for the presale as everything is in smart contracts.

Another ICO project aiming at supercomputer beside the SONM and Gloem. So my question is what is the difference and the advantages?

Glad to take your questions! We've answered some of this in our FAQ which I have quoted for you below. There are other things that are setting us apart, I hope you will stay tuned for updates as we continue to develop!

How is your coin different from other Supercomputer Coins like SONM and Golem?

It is true, we are very similar to these coins, and we are proud to be so! We think Golem is a valuable token and we will be happy to collaborate with them in the future.

We believe Supercomputer coins are the most valuable tokens out there. They are tied to computer resources which makes them strong assets.

In doing our market research we've reached out to a number of organizations and found the demand for supercomputers is endless, and ever growing with new AI around the corner. There is a lot of revenue in this vast industry, and this will require many networks to handle the load as we target different sections of the market.

While SONM and Golem are targeting commercial applications, we are focused on Educational and Research institutions.

As well, Golem is a Polish company, and SONM is from Russia. While I'm sure they will do well in Europe, we are a Canadian company and will have advantage over them in the North American market.

How does a global network target a geographical market?

Although anyone around the world can connect and use our network for projects, the majority of this space is covered by Universities and Research Institutions. These institutions require a more hands on approach to marketing, and it will be necessary for us to approach them directly and help them migrate work onto our network. Golem (Polish), SONM (Russian) and Iex.ce (French) are focused more on private commercial applications however we expect they will eventually realize this mistake and focus their marketing to European Research Institutions, leaving North American Universities and Researchers to a closer team. That team is us!

What they may not realize is that Research is the underpinning of the supercomputer world. Where private businesses are volatile in their computing needs, Research allows us to provide a steady supply of work to our miners. We will be building this steady base through careful approach before layering a more volatile commercial market on top.

We are based in Kingston Ontario which is home to both the Royal Canadian Military College and Queens University, the oldest in Canada. We have many friends at these institutions and are in the process of connecting with them, and their supercomputing departments.

Similar projects have failed to deliver so far, what makes SPARC different?

Our team is what sets us apart! We have been working together already for many years. We have another successful company which is still growing! (QuetzalPOS.com). While we cannot speak as to the reasons that other projects are behind schedule, what separates us is that we are comfortable with our teammates. We know each others skills, assets, and development speeds so we can effectively plan for the future.

When will you release wallet? Keep on your hard work, I'll be  back for more information soon.

The token is a standard ERC20 Ethereum token, you should be able to use any ethereum wallet to access it.

Due to scammers we've had to deactivate the public slack invites.

Please do not send ETH to anyone who claims to be us, there is no live contract as of today.

Seems like a cool idea - I'm looking forward to reading the token paper. Do you have an ETA for when you'll be releasing it?

Presale

Since announcing our technology we have been contacted by some major organizations who are interested in partnering with us. These partnerships will take some time to organize and bring great value. Therefore we have decided it is in the interest of our company to delay the crowdsale by approximately 2 months. The October 1st date is not set in stone, and will be subject to changes.

Instead we are looking at raising a small amount in a first round Presale in order to move our company to the next level. This will go towards marketing materials and partnerships leading up to the crowdsale date, as well as continued development of the product.

Our Alpha is ahead of schedule and we plan to continue with its release before the ICO begins.

The Presale will be offered on July 27th starting at 11AM EST with a 100% bonus. It will be capped at 1000 ETH.

Date: July 27th 2017 11AM EST
Cap:                         1000 ETH
Bonus:                           100%
Ratio:     1 ETH : 20,000 SPARC

Road Map

Our road map in the next few weeks is as follows:

July 27th    - Open Presale
Mid August - Open Alpha
Sept 1st     - Continue ICO Campaign

During this time we expect to make some major steps forward with valuable partnerships.

Bounties

We would like to apologize to those who have already begun to work for our bounty campaign. It will be put on hold until we resume with the ICO around September 1st.

Your bounties will not be lost. Any work you have already done will be counted when the campaign continues. We thank you for your understanding.

Along with this announcement we are proud to welcome a new member of our team:

Anne Vivian-Scott, MBA, PEng - Commercial Advisor
President and CEO BKIN Technologies - http://www.bkintechnologies.com/

"The majority of my career has been occupied by the challenging task of commercializing university-based research discoveries into meaningful products and services. The KDS initiative is a timely innovation that will have the full support of researchers requiring distributed supercomputing power."

Thank You,

The KDS Team

there is golem, sonm, iexec and elastic. why another one?

Simply put, the market for this type of coin is huge. There will be many networks required to handle the load, even we expect to see more arrive in the future.

What makes us different?

We are targeting the North American market, whereas Golem, Iex.ce and SONM are all in Europe. We don't consider Elastic to be a competitor. After watching their project and github, we believe they do not have the budget or developers to compete, but we wish them all the best!

I can understand this view though tough I find it somewhat ironic that you describe it as a cloud based point-of-sale system. anyway, from a fellow Canadian wishing you good luck!

Isn't your $5 Million USD minimum cap to high?

Part of what makes a token successful his hitting their critical mass. It order to protect your purchase, and our company, we have set a minimum that will achieve this critical mass. We feel we may have trouble living up to the standards of the cryptocommunity below this amount. Compared to similar projects we think we will get past this barrier easily, but we have set it there for you so that you can be sure of your purchase.

We need more information!?

At KingsDS we believe in minimalism, so our website, like our code, contains only the information that is necessary, no buzzwords or bullshit! The majority of the information about the project is contained in the whitepaper, and we would recommend to each of you to download it and read it through. It is direct to the point, and not too difficult to read. It is important that you understand the tokens you are purchasing before you put in your hard earned money! Please if you have any questions ask them in this forum and we will respond promptly. The whitepaper is in the process of being translated into different languages, if you do not speak English well, let us know which language you are looking to read from.

Supercomputer has left no charm anymore we already had a lot of in a row and waiting to see when they will deliver. I'm not interested to invest into a new project and put my money on long hold like happening with XEL, GNT and many more we have.
