Knight

Knight was and still is an attempt to secure Noble with higher hashrates from true supporters, longterm holders as well as from myself and personal contacts. We have consistently defended NOBL hash for weeks at a loss while we have been under constant attack. We've reached combined hashrates of 300MH+, spent 1-2BTC every few days out of pocket in some cases to increase security, confirmed over $75,000 in longterm ASIC 'investment' that will be used to secure NOBL as best we can purely 'inhouse' in the coming 6 months, and as we have for months continue to promote the necessity longterm of merge-mining for all coins or this will happen sooner or later to all coins.

The higher the hash we get, the higher hash we're met with in response, the stronger we make pools with our own hash (think the 'Nobility' & 'Knight' accounts on Charity Mining & Poolerino) the more hash was thrown our way. Look at the extraction graph, we've dealt with this from the same coin as well as numerous others for months.

We're not sitting idly by, we're well aware of the concerns. Those of you who don't have the patience or fear Noble will be dead because of a few weeks of trouble perhaps haven't been around here long enough. I'm not making any empty promises, but we're also not going to be forking to a centralized solution. Every day the more that sell and the more that leave because they are thinking of daily profit the weaker NOBL IS going to get. That's how crypto works.

People are milking and mining NOBL at a loss to get us out of the picture. Maybe it will work, maybe it won't. They're selling awfully cheap coins at a loss to people who know cryptocurrencies can take years to reach full maturity. Community members have wanted me to consistently release news that is positive and perhaps fake to instil a false sense of security. I'm making them very unhappy right now because we've never bullshitted. Our market cap is low, so our hash is low, so our security is low. That doesn't mean we're going to cave in.

We wanted Knight to be a positive release, we've been using it for weeks in an attempt to secure NOBL, but someone keeps throwing more and more money at us to bring us to this point. It's working, more are selling, more are panicking, hashrate is decreasing. I don't blame you if you do, this is a tough scene especially so it seems for us. Instead we're being consistently attacked and Knight is constantly being put to the test by someone with more resources than us. Doesn't mean we're not going to continue on with our gameplan. Our aces have been kept closely guarded, and if they come to fruition they will rock, but nothing is ever set in stone.

You need to think and act positively, we can't do everything - we've been working for 5 months but we aren't NOBL - you all are. We need you, announcements, work, infrastructure and projects from you just as much as you need it from us. That's the truth.

Something bad is happening?

Both Poolerino and Charity mining pools are completely down. 44% of the network hashrate is "BlackCoin" Pool, and 46% is "unknown". Difficulty dropped to 3 and is now 4.5 and network hashrate is at the lowest in about 1 month.

Are we under yet another attack? This time with even more brute force?

I'm not spreading FUD. But the way I see it, the current mining situation doesn't look good unless Rofo has something in action that I am not aware of.

Don't think so.

This does look bad. I would start my miner up, but both pools I use are down :/
And FWIW I have 5 unconfirmed deposit transactions from yesterday that are more than 24 hours old. Fork maybe?  Huh

Coinmine.pw is also down. WTH is going on?

LOL... So we are supposed to have many "good" exchanges except Bittrex, and realized this until they clean up NOBL. I guess NOBL should remove itself from Cryptsy voting list too, unless you admit Cryptsy now is a "good" exchange. And NOBL should never ever be in Bittrex in the future.

You and your ten posts need to blow away. We are not Morons here. good bye fool.

Please chill a bit. Everybody has their right to say what they think.

@ cryptsy: They ignored us since launch, adding only crap after crap after crap, never considering us. Even took multiple mails to get us on the voting list.. We choose to not actively pursue getting on cryptsy anymore.

is it really "Frozen"... so,...

Let it go, let it go!
Can't hold it back any more.
Let it go, let it go!
Turn away and slam the door.
I don't care what they're going to say.
Let the storm rage on.
The cold never bothered me anyway.

hahaha... just for laughs... anyhow, i strongly believe that we and NOBL can "weather the storm" as well as the other ones that are coming... in the end. we'll be victorious... let's keep up our positive thinking... go go go NOBL!

 Wink

Cheesy

I still hold some frozencoin

me, i'm still holding all my NOBL... i believe that time will come for this gem to shine... like a year or 2...  Smiley

and oh, i'll spent this to buy something else too... in order for a currency to increase its value (either fiat or crypto), it must be used. it must have a buying power... as this attribute is already w/in NOBL... we will win... days will come that the sun will be shining on us and on NOBL  Grin

Poolerino is down this morning, I mean totally down, not just noble pool.
Has this anything to do with massive hash power getting online?

Can anyone point to other noble pools?
I pointed my workers to poolwarz as this was the fastest thing to do and it seems to be working.

Everybody has the right to comment whatever he/she want to say, NOT just your "good" stuffs, trolling people around. What's wrong? I read through a lot past posts, NOBL refused to be on Crytpsy, am I right?? That's why I point to this.

Why noblecoin is frozen in Poloniex?
Maybe someone have just answered this question but I can't understand the real reason, is because of the "scheduled" fork?

What are you talking about? there is no scheduled fork. Are you one of the attackers?

Whilst I don't agree with Rofo on the whole Asic subject (although I can certainly see his point view, you only need to look at bitcoin to see how successful a coin can be mined on Asics) and a few things he has mentioned, I have faith in him as a developer to lead the coin in the right direction and believe we both share the same vision for the coin in the long run which is why I'm still sticking with it and not trying to cash out. I have a portfolio of 5 coins that I truly believe in long term and Noble is one of them!

I believe in rofo as well and bought in again @35 where I thought the price should be but I believe only Bitcoin can sustain ASIC because it is the first and the standard. It will be years before any other coin can handle the dump of asic's. It is simple economics.

why is the exchange going to delist noble?
noble is one of the most important
which one?

bittrex   Undecided

This is bad. Bittrex is one of good exchanges; as I know, they only require a small amount of trading volume to survive there.

Bittrex has been shown to be a exchange that  scams bye locking down new coins until they dump. Good riddance. Do your homework and stop the FUD.

oh, got a question... hope somebody can help me on this...

i noticed that its been past 6 hrs already that my wallet had not confirmed the received rewards. for more than 6 hrs now, all of the rewards just kept accumulating in my wallet as "Unconfirmed". any work around on this for the rewards to be accepted and added into my wallet's "Balance".

thanks...

I assume you checked the chain explorer with your wallet address to see if they are actually sent?

i checked the transaction history and there are 3 transactions yesterday that have question marks. these were the total rewards which were all still unconfirmed.

as far as the exchanges and attention goes... personally i think that the lack of adoption has more to do with the fact that most people are looking to the P&D coins to make up for losses from their investment into other P&D coins. as a result we get lower usage and attention due to that fact that we are seen as a true crypto currency. as such, many miners will see the use/spending of Noble as a net loss, instead of a net gain. because spending Noble is spending money. we are an island surrounded by a sea of crypto scams, and people trying to get their heads above water because they were taken for a ride in a cardboard ship that sank moments after they left port.

at the moment we seem to be the victims of an economy that is saturated with scams, and the coins that are scams ( which many people know or suspect to be scams) are seen to be a floating piece of driftwood that they can cling onto, to atempt to keep themselves from drowning.

i know... a lot of metaphors.... sorry

Maybe they are. I just wish they were more conservative on the amount of coins they add and the time frame they use for that. I know they are an exchange are are looking for money to poor in. But with coins not being a week old and than being pumped on Bittrex and than eventually to go to Poloniex where it is either pumped further or dumped, it feels not good to me. So I can't say I have a neutral standing regarding Bittrex.

Maybe that's why they're doing cleaning up.  Wink
