Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
Hey guys! Mywl.lt is proud to be offering you guys the chance to have Noblecoin added to your community.
Guys, this wallet is really great! I think we should apprecieate the invitation, register, and vote.

You know why it is great?

Because it is a "multiwallet" —
it allows a merchant to keep all the payments (in different cryptos) in one place.
So, there is no need to write an app for smartphone to keep all the dIfferent wallets together! All balances are converted to BTC and USD and totaled:

We have possibility to include Noblecoin in the future, I think it would be great — I started to vote again.

I would never use an online Wallet!  EVER... Did I say never? Oh yeah already did.

Do you think 200 sat is even possible?

The only sell I have is at 299.

I've added tagging of some key addresses in the CryptoID Noble Explorer

Currently pools, poloniEx & the Noble Reserve are tagged.
The tagging involves some "guesstimation", consider its finding partial ie. it won't (can't) know all the funds/addresses.

If you want to help and have active accounts at other exchanges (ie. with not too recent deposits/withdrawals), feel free to PM me some details about addresses or transactions Wink

Very Nice!

The question is, why would it not be possible?

An addition to my reply, think I can safely state that we (the community) are not so busy with this question. We of course do want the coin to represent a value, however we are first focussing on things we think are more important (building a stronger coin, community and adding merchants). This focus will (hopefully) add value to the coin and let people see we are driven by other things than (short term) value!

So have we officially told Cryptsy that we do not want their business? I have noticed even after 100s of BTC volume flowing through Mintpal they still have not added us (which I figured they would out of pure selfishness and greed). Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. I was just wondering if we had told them that we do not want to have anything to do with them officially.

Noble seems to have leveled out in price to an average of around 40satoshi. This is a consistent 150% increase from where it was leveled out to after initial speculation. So bottom line is, Noble has a real community, with real, consistent support and has peaked the interest of many more people. This growth, IMO, is permanent. I know we get upset when we see a dump from 110 satoshi to 30 but the fact is that the sustained price is still so much higher than it was before. It is only a matter of time before the sustained price is above 100, 200, 300 satoshi.

Excited about the near and distant future of this coin!

Ran some stats on the "guesstimated wallets" of the explorer Smiley

Question being: where are most of the Noblecoins? rich addresses don't tell the whole story of course (as a wallet can have many addresses)

I've identified three very large wallets of which are very likely exchanges, following numbers are conservative, actual values are higher (though I can't say how much higher). I'm naming them by their oldest known generated address (which might be one of yours, hehe)

I suspect who they are, if I can get some extra confirmations from the community, I'll tag them in the explorer (look in the previous links, if you spot your deposit or withdrawal address).

manipulating price upwards so I could dump on everyone here,

Sorry but you can not manipulate the price upwards by controlling the supply according to the demand. Price goes up when demand IS higher than the supply. Those who pump the price upwards by buying coins and shouting 'pump', 'buy' in the trollbox are the one doing the manipulating.

Prices are determined by the consumers, simple as that.

You remove supply, you throw down big BTC buy walls and you've artificially shot up demand with hype and a phoney announcement or two. Cut out supply when you have the money to manipulate demand, as well as the majority of current supply in your own pocket and knowledge of any exit points, and you completely control the market. Cutting supply just makes it so much easier when you can dominate demand. If I had 100BTC on me right now I could put NOBL into the $2,000,000 market cap range in a few days all while announcing nothing but negative news.

That is not what NOBL wants to be. We laid down PoW, specifications and the mining period from day 1. We're not going to suddenly switch again because coins are being shot up through pump and dumps by people who don't give a rats ass about that coin or its future. We've just announced a reduction of total coins from 15 billion to 5 billion, as well as a more aggressive halving period. There are plenty of coins right now that have removed supply completely, there are plenty of options alongside NOBL if that is what you want.

On another note, personally if any system promotes manipulation, corruption and the complete lack of accountability I don't care if it's capitalistic or socialist, it's not worthy of praise. I don't care if it's central banking and fiat yesterday or cryptocurrency today. A free market without morals or accountability is still trash. We said we came here for cryptocurrency long-term. Just as there have been short-term breadwinners due to hyped specifications every month since we've released that are now completely ignored or proven wrong, we will not be following the latest get-rich-quick specifications and completely removing supply of NOBL this month either. I'm sorry.

Well put

A couple of days ago, I made a remark about NobleCoin and organization-structure. I found out there was a lot more structure than I thought, but we were missing a person that did some active communicating with all forummembers. The last two days not much changed, but I understand we don't have enough news to post a couple of times a day.

I was thinking about the right way to be real succesfull in life and business. The magic word here is FOCUS. All succesfull people and companies have one thing in common and that is focus. So what should be the focus for NobleCoin? As far as I can see the ultimate goal is getting NobleCoin worldwide accepted. Getting accepted everywhere will built a bigger community and surge for NobleCoins will follow.

So, in my opinion our main focus is, contacting merchants and the results will be used in our subgoal ( building a bigger community).

I would like to suggest we start 2 departments. A group of people that contact all different merchants on a daily basis, asking for adding NobleCoin as a payment option. Second, we start a socialmedia department. I am thinking of a guy who makes the messages for twitter and facebook that are retweeted etc.. by all communitymembers.

I myself, keep searching for online shops were I would like to buy something. Shops that accept btc or other altcoin except NobleCoin. Just tell them you want to buy some item, but you only have NobleCoins. Whenever they add NobleCoin post it here and the socialmedia department can do their job.

So for the SocialMedia department we need a volunteer who composes the tweets etc. and we need a big group who retweets.

I think MiKnutty is the Social Media guy for Noble isn't he?

Yeah I am usually all over twitter with posts daily! I could always use more people retweeting!

Check out NobleCoin's main page as well.

Regarding departments, maybe the core team will say something Wink
Regarding FOCUS, I agree that the main goal should be world acceptance. If so, the key is usability — to show the "real world" that this is really functioning.
So, while searching for merchants is very important, I think that also fundraising could be part of our focus. And I think that coming Noble Steps can be a very big step for our community — it can show something to the "outside world", to the people not involved in crypto.

I have an idea to look for local organizations (I have found some already) and to run a small Step (a fundraising event) with them.
After it finishes, we document the success (interview with photos, with NobleCoin banner and date etc.).
We should not underestimate the medial power of such event — it can be mentioned in local press (yes, paper edition), and local press is very good press, very attractive in marketing terms — we can show the pictures of the printed edition to the rest of the world. This will create more connections between crypto- and real-world.

Just imagine — NobleCoin allowed to collect amount X of some foreign currency in some country to achieve some goal, a goal important for that foreign local community in that moment. It can show that thanks to a cryptocurrencies, the "local" can cooperate with the "global" — and it would be a living example of the perfect usage case.

I really think that Noble Steps can be huuuge and attract A LOT of new people.
Maybe we should all prepare and do something to make its going live even bigger?

100% agree ( short comment, I know, but very clear).

I think in the world of Crypto, it is essential to be transparent and Noble always strives to do that very thing, so Rofo, I hope I am not over stepping my bounds here. With that being said, I, personally, feel we have been exceptionally focused compared to most alt coins. I am not a marketing guy, not a communication guy, or anything else outside if IT/Project Work, so I leave the merchant searching primarily up to Rofo and hope the community chips in where they see fit. However, I will vouch for Rofo that he is one dedicated man, and has been working NobleCoin 10+ hours every single day since launch. He has been chasing down merchants, making connections, getting the market place going, etc. This man is a machine, but he is only one person. miKnutty has also been contributing, but he is more on the side of eSports and that avenue. All I can say is that for the core team I work with, we are all trying our best and doing the best with the tools we have. However, there is only so much time in one day and we can only do so much with the time we have.

In regards to focus, I can guarantee you that they are directly in line with what we are trying to accomplish. Since day one it was understood that the only way to really make a legitimate value was worldwide acceptance, and thus far I feel Rofo has done a great job building the infrastructure to do so. We will continue to work on adding people and it is always in the forefront and a top topic of discussion for us. However, I want to note that nobility is still a top priority of the team, and contributing/giving back to communities is a key aspect of NobleCoin and has been from the start. The idea of a local community fundraiser sounds like a great idea. In reality we only need one thing like that to make some local news and be picked up by a big outlet such as Fox of CNN, then we would explode. However leading this is a different aspect as we would need boots on the ground. If someone is willing to step up and lead it, I would be happy to provide whatever resources I have and help in any way I can.

To all, the best thing I can say is I promise we are doing everything and anything to help move Noble forward. However, if anyone wants to take on a more active role, I would be happy to work with you and figure out what we can do together.

I really like the local steps idea! it can be small amounts: 100-500 euros depending on the goal. (eg some new equipment for an animal shelter)

and I agree with the local press. if it happens more than once, it can even reach national press for that country.
