Stilll don't get why its going this cheap and with this low difficulty!

As a miner I can't complain about that.

True, although I miss the days the difficulty was between 1 and 2 Wink

The value on coinmarket has halved over the past day or so... correlation to BTC or just growing pains?

Silly people is my guess? As we grow I think we will get a log of swings like this until we can get it stabilized. I think CoinPayments was a huge win for us and as we continue to add merchants we will continue to gain traction and the price will only grow. That being said, people are creatures of habit and may want immediate return on their mining. I am 100% fine with this, Ill keep buying all I can Smiley

to Be honest I think it has a lot to do with the Coinmarket.io going down all the time, 99% of the trade is happening there and as it keeps going down people are losing faith in the ability to trade the coin, thus the value drops, if we can get on Cryptsy that will all change... So make sure you leave a Note here and hype up the coin to the boys over there, they are missing out

Yea, because cryptsy has kept the value of doge up at 280 satoshi as well... It has nothing to do with coinmarket.io going down once, all/most of the altcoins have followed the downwards line of bitcoins the past few days. So now is the time to mine, stock up and hold on to you cryptocurrencies for future trading and profit.

kultus: i dont think the community as a whole really wants to get on cryptsy just yet.. we are still in the building up stage...Nobl is looking to maintain and build a long term position so there's no real rush to get listed on cryptsy, coinmarketcap, coinwarz and one usually follows the other in this case.

As a whole the community has come to do something that's very rare in the cryptocurrency world.
They TRUST the dev and his team.
I agree with this Wink

Its true, the more I look at it, the more I realize that, in most cases, difficulty is going to parallel value. So with growth and exposure comes higher hashrate > higher difficulty > higher price. Cryptsy could help this but it could also hurt it in its infant stages I suppose. Either way, this coin is a winner and I'm sticking with it.

however, crapsy ( troll box on coinex), it is slow, many problems with bot sells, and as i've been watching. it would seem that cryptsy is the place to send a currency to kill it. as for the troll box on coinex... all i see is complaints and virtual screaming and pulling out of hair, over people waiting a LONG time to complete a trade and receive their money. i have also watched as they bemoan the tendency of cryptsy to damn near kill a promising coin, solely as a result of dumpers and auto sells. not really cryptsy's fault, but being on of the bigger exchanges it kinda brings out all the traders and miners ( the miners that either need to pay off equipment, and/or traders just looking to make a buck) that are willing to collaps a coin in the name of their own interests.

thankfully that does not seem to be the case with Noble. aside from a few, from what i can tell, it does not seem like that there are too many people in the community that are willing to let go of their Noble, well at least not at a loss. also it would seem that most people involved with this currency are more invested with the success of Noble as a whole, and as such i'm not sure how many would want to risk being destroyed by the trading practices at one of the big exchanges.

as this currency grows and as a community we gain more Noble, we will also gain an advantage. the advantage is that, if we mine close to 20% of all noble before hitting the big exchanges, then as a community we can ( to a point) prevent the pump and dumping that have all but destroyed other currencies.

that's why with a 115 pages of NOBL talk in here... there are only 15 requests to be added on cryptsy. Why? Because Rofo hasn't asked the community to head over there and do it now...

Enjoy the community thats being built in here.. you likely wont find it anywhere else in the shadey cryptoworld.

as much as I agree with what you are saying it does not address the question I was answering for Adam,  he asked why we think the price is dropping over the last couple of days, that is my personal opinion, you don't have to like it or agree with me, but that is my opinion.

Valid. I updated my post to answer his question as well. And neither took or meant to give offense..

all good mate, I just tend to be very clear on forums when replying to a challenge lol .... no room for misconception, that is how arguments start for no good reason, I never took offence mate, just wanted to be very clear on where I was coming from. Smiley

*edit* 150 satoshi.. is about right see my post on Jan 15th

Taking an inversely proportional formula based on number of coins produced in 60 seconds against the current price of profitable coins taking into consideration current difficulty i have come up with these numbers..

Lot is 65,792 now at 14... which means we could see a stable price of about 185 satoshi ( difficulty 8.5)
Eac is 10,000 now at 140.. which means we could see a stable price of about 280 satoshi (difficulty 32.5)
WDC is 106.8 now at 44.. which means we could see a stable price of about 940 (difficulty at 56.5)
Doge is 500,000 now at 44.. which means we could see a stable price of about 4400 satoshi (difficulty 403.5)

Also be advised that the prices listed above are current peak profitability so we will likely see lower values.

so that's the basic correlation on pricing i have determined with difficulty as their markers.. with our current difficulty of 2.1 market price will be closer to
Casinocoin which is 100 now at 1188... which means we could see a price of about 24 satoshi.. (but Casinocoin is around the bottom at this time of writing so would expect our value to be around 30)

my expectation is that
As, we currently don't have hype like doge or eac i estimate post exchange to put us in the 8.5 difficulty range similar to LOT with our stable price being in the 150 range.

This isnt FUD and the numbers may be way off but i don't think i will be too far off with my predictions.. I don't suggest hyping it up.. cos its a hard crash from there.. I will however take a stance that merchant/miner adoption is critical. The idea for miner block rewards was a bit of genius really. I believe you doubled net hash from that alone.

By the way the prices i am quoting above are in relation to stability after prices do the inflation/dip at exchange launch... We could very well see 10000 satoshi if people have faith in the future of the coin..

FYI, our current difficulty is about 8.25

Wow, the amount of traction NOBLE has gotten over these last few weeks (albeit quietly) is quite astounding. Can't wait to see what lies ahead.

As long as you dont mention the moon, as this seems to attract all the hungry wolves... Wink
