It's a great idea to gather this signatures in one place.

It seems to me that the greatest fighter for freedom of speech Julian Assange has been undeservedly forgotten.
He got his freedom! I would love to put a signature in his support.

It may sound like: Celebrate Julian's freedom!

I hesitated on this one a bit but decided to add Trump 2024 to the list.
It's not an endorsement of any kind and I will be happy to add a counter candidate if anyone bothers to create a signature.

I have not seen AOBT signature yet pawel7777, not sure if this is non-profit, as it is 50:50 (can be paid for business purposes & free for community purposes), maybe you could consider it.
Thanks. I've added it to the first post.
They offer free translations for meaningful topics, and I've seen Cygan posting a lot of free translations of that nature on the Polish local board, so I think the project is worth adding.

Hi!

It is true that we are open to working with private initiatives in exchange for a reward in sats -we would not be able to advertise the AoBT in the "services" section otherwise-, but our work has been almost exclusively pro bono so far.

Thank you Pandorak for proposing our signature to be added to this initiative, and thanks to pawel7777 too for the recognition and for accepting us Smiley

Since I have no signature campaigns will be one, this was a good thread I never knew that there were more Non-profit signatures as well, I mostly see PeachBitcoin.

I can see some of the signatures were posted years ago, so this was a good promotion for some of them, being added to this list.  Smiley

Unfortunately, I can no longer find the non-profit campaign thread above. It may have been deleted or moved to a restricted section, that's the message I get when I try to access the url. If this is removed for some reason, then you can remove it from the OP.

I hope I'm not missing something, but here's the message when I try to access the thread.

Thanks for flagging this up.
That's a bit strange. I reckon the topic must've been removed by mods (as mentioned by examplens), potentially due to the BitList website containing a list and links to the mixers, but I was sure this was allowed. Maybe the approach is judgmental and depends on each moderator.
I've replaced the link to the campaign topic with the link to the ANN topic.

I like this idea!

And while the idea is great, I think perhaps we can add to it.

Non-profit does not necessarily have to mean non-reward. What if we added non-monetary rewards?

For example: Participants get paid in special tokens, which they could trade in for special Bitcointalk badges (comparable to the pizza badge or art contest badge)?

This would incentivize the participation, I think. And I am sure Theymos would not mind adding a badge or two for the sake of a good thing. And the participants would receive  well-deserved acknowledgment from the community for doing charity.

Thanks. That's some out-of-the-box thinking, but I don't think admins would ever go with that, as that would require a lot of effort even just to clarify the conditions of who would qualify for such a badge etc, i.e. is it any non-profit signature (some projects could be controversial or frowned upon), how long would the participant have to wear the signature for, who would be monitoring if they indeed wear it etc.

I wouldn't be surprised if this signature is disallowed in line with the mixer promotion ban. Mixers are certainly an important part of the site, so in a way it can be considered as a promotion of links to mixer sites.

It looks like a match to this
But there seems to be some confusion around promotion. It would be allowed to post even a positive review thread for ExampleMixer, just as long as you don't post the UR]L and you don't violate the other rules. Promotion is only disallowed in signatures, avatars, and profile-bios; not posts.

Thanks nakamura12. I appreciate the effort but I'll stick to the current look, as most of those columns are not really relevant for non-paid signatures. I think displaying actual signatures is a better approach.
I fully understand. As you can read on that post, I clearly explained that it's up to you and I don't mind whatever you want the OP to look like. I only thought that it would look like it or similar.

Great initiative OP!
I've been thinking for a while about creating signatures to support non-profit projects that could be used between campaigns.

I was thinking of a signature with a link to donate to the Tor Project in crypto/Bitcoin, one for SimpleX, etc... My goal would be to have a thread offering a dozen or so signatures of this type, so that anyone who wants to can find a signature they like. There are an huge number of projects to support, which sometimes offer us the means to enjoy our freedom.
Unfortunately, for now, I still haven't had the time to create the signatures but I will try to do it before the end of the summer.

I thought that the thread would be look like the same as you can see below even though I don't have any problem or issue as what it is shown in OP. It's your thread so it's up to you on what you want to do with it.

It's a good initiative indeed, but it can only be complete if this thread gets pinned to the top on this board, else, I did say that every thread gets buried and this one will likely get buried too if for some reasons, op stops being active on this thread and other users stop commenting here as well.

It's probably not the kind of topic that would get pinned. I'll try to bump it every now and then if it gets buried hopefully with some update. But I think if enough people have it on their watchlists, if they make use of it when they're outside of any paid campaign, and if they post something from time to time, there's a chance it could stay afloat.

But if it doesn't get any traction and dies, so be it. At least we tried Smiley

Looks like @icopress has opened another one of its non-profit signature campaign. Each participant who joins is only expected to post their username, he also makes rules that may disqualify users from the campaign if they post spam or other bad things.
