Kinda the point is that all have at least one stick as the cloud kinda is a fun social way  to support sidehack and his projects.   If your wanting to do this and do not have a compac I suggest going to his group buy thread soon, as I'm not sure how many are left for sale.

And a lot of us are looking forward to his pods next.  Still not a lot of info on those yet.
Okay I see, sorry about that.  Will check on available compacs direct, or through resellers! You can exclude me for now...

I bought some from asicpuppy.com recently, you can pay with BTC or Paypal and they ship worldwide Smiley.

Can I add a couple of R-boxes to the pool?  Would only be around 65 Gh/s but every bit could help!

Let me know

you do not seem to be on the list as a stick miner.

so for now the answer would be no.-- I could have missed something.

I may be missing you on list so let me look a bit more.

we now have a full list of 40 stick miners and a few as waiting room.

please let me review the waiting list and mining list.

what would the volt setting look like

--set compac:clock=150
?
Awesominer is pointed the the wrong directory so it was set at some default clock/volt and not mine. Another case of poor directory management bfgminer5.4.0 vs bfgminer5.4.1   (Note Awesomeminer can use either cfgminer or bfgminer you choose)

It should be set at 150 again thank everyone for getting me on the right track. This compac is the best usb miner ever, selling all my others including the avalon1

Good to hear you're solving the issue. Just in case, I'll point you to the official compac support thread where there's lots of info on the first post https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/gekkoscience-compac-bm1384-stickminer-official-support-thread-1173963

The voltage adjustment is made by moving the tiny screw on the front as seen here: (maybe you already figured it out)

Would like to join and will wait till the next round. I'm on Kano.is pool and
wonder why my stick 178 accepted 60 rejected probably means I'm too slow of a miner. Using the new Bfgminer (works great now even for avalon1)
12.42/12.24/ 9.87ghs  HW:/2   running for 12 hours

somtimes I get CBM:0 Comms error

Have you tried increasing the voltage a little bit to get rid of those two HW? My two sticks run on HW:0 when the voltage is right for the freq.

Thank you both Phil and Kano!  Intersting to see some numbers behind it all.   Been fun so far.

I'm still enjoying mining with these little guy's. Feels like the old day's in mining dealing with the sticks. So really quite fun I think personally.

well if you one to five and mine   you spend around 125 for 5.  it is next to nothing to mine it for a year.  and the chance of a block and profit is not too bad.

Worst case is after a year you  still have 5 sticks.

if you run 5 and do balanced ½ at this pool and ½ at a pool like bitminter  you will have 5 sticks and some coin back.

we won't make much but still some fun.

In fact I AM GOING TO POINT MY AVALON 6 PAIR HERE FOR A DAY!
