It simply means that there are lots of adoptions occurring around the world. In our country, there are also merchants who sell Bitcoin, Ethereum, Riffle and Bch which is more convenient for most users here.  Knowing that there are also grocery stores that sell Bitcoin in the US is good to hear and will surely attract people to invest cryptocurrency. Buying crypto is getting more convenient these days.

Not a resident of US but I am quite wondering if your popular groceries like Target would think of implementing Bitcoin. I reside in an Asian country and I still don't have an idea if our popular groceries would think of implementing Bitcoin as an alternative payment method. Somehow I have the feeling that our convenience store would implement it first before the groceries even do.

In the U.S. there are these machines in grocery stores called "Coinstar"...they were originally used for fiat coins but now they've modified them so you can buy Bitcoin from them. This is great for mass adoption!

Please do update the video so new person who read this thread will have time to take a look at it, it shows that the video is unavailable and set to private, or is it just me thats having this issue?
The one who made that machine deserves to be recognized that's a great tool to spread bitcoin awareness to other people specially it is placed in a crowded place.

maybe you are joking to make this post topic because now you say people can buy bitcoin at the grocery store but I am not so sure about your statement because I have never heard this news before even though seeing the video in your post video makes me not too sure because there isn't certainty in the video to be convinced by many people. but if they are able to develop it will surely be extraordinary.

It's great in terms of availability but not in terms of adoption. I see that coinstar has entered into a partnership with CoinMe to sell bitcoins. You can't redeem your code in any wallet than CoinMe. So essentially a buyer will pay high fees for a single buying transaction.

The adoption rate will only increase if the exchange fees can be kept closer to the market price. Otherwise people have better option like p2p trade.

It is very nice to see that Coinstar is in a partnership with CoinMe. But as you said, I don't think it will effect the adoption of Bitcoin.  But it will help Bitcoin to be used more than now.

This is a great news for the community. Well, this will help the market at some point to rise even a little, because crypto currency will do circulate around the grocery store. On the other hand, with this kind of store it will leave a mark for the innocent people to try bitcoin. And it might be stepping stone for them to fully engage to cryptocurrency and be a part to help the market grow. Well, it is very interesting to hear news like this. Hope this one grew on another places.
It will advertise bitcoin and allow those newbies to learn how bitcoin can be bought. Although is not the actual process of buying and selling but a simple loading a like station for crypto buyers. The industry needs many exposures like this in order to reach out for more people to support Bitcoin.

It's all about how crypto pep's will helps the expansions of this investment currency, keep supporting and continue to move forward.

This clearly shows mass adoption indeed! It is good to see that the community is accepting cryptos today unlike before. Today a lot of businesses are already accepting bitcoin and there are some grocery store that are selling bitcoin. Having bitcoin today is much easier compared before wherein you need to have knowledge from the exchanges to buy it. Today, you just need to go to the grocery store and buy bitcoin easily and conveniently.

That just shows how the influence of BTC is increasing. More and more people are avoiding ordinary currency and moving to crypto. BTC and other cryptocurrencies are becoming more accessible and I believe that there will be a time when we will be able to get them anywhere.

Hmm, I think it is good for commercial purposes because it attracts or make people curious about it but I don't think many users will adopt it. The reason why is the high fees and rates. I would stick on the old way rather than using that.

I agree, people will still choose fiat over bitcoin because for sure they will be clouded minded what is bitcoin or maybe they are still being affected by FUDs.

Also if they adopt it, what will the government do? Taxed it? It will just increases the fee and on some way make the transactions watched or monitored.

They can't do it, that is the single thing that the Government cannot do to Cryptocurrency, it have a decentralized network called blockchain, but still peopel are afraid to use it for their own personal reason, maybe it is because they want to play everythin safe, maybe they are cowards, or maybe they just don't want because they thought it was something that is not like "fiat" at all. Also we don't want to work hard, we just want things that is easier to have like fiats.

Currently there are only in US the machines available, but I am sure in the future many countries will adopt such machines. Payments using Bitcoin are increasingly widespread in the country which legalizes Bitcoin. I hope that in the future my country can also use Bitcoin to pay for various needs from the grocery store.

It's a great start to begin commercializing bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. However, I would first make sure of the company's credibility since you're trusting these machines your funds. If this would turn out as scam, then all your funds that you thought you placed in your BTC address would be gone. I think it's still safer to buy using trusted exchanges to buy bitcoin than using these machines since it is only starting. I'll wait for the technology to grow and when I see it as a trusted way to buy, then maybe I'll try at some time.

They are powered by coinme, this is a good news but I'm thinking on how much would be the fee?

I like the tagline they made, "Coins are money, too! Treat yourself for a change". They have a $2,500 limitation for each customer and this kind of news adoption is always positive. The era of bitcoin ATM is now starting, expect more of it for the upcoming months.

Regarding on the fees. Bitcoin transactions will have a fee as well as the taxes that each of the product has. I am wondering how government will utilize the taxes if they will support bitcoin or altcoin as the main mode of payment in groceries and any stores in the market. Would it be harder for them? Or maybe they can develop a formula that can compute the taxes whenever the market price of bitcoin changes.
