Yes the Bitcoin atm is more preferable than the coinstar machine but there offer is more like paying Bitcoin an exchange site because they as charge some amount fee and you can't expect the coinstar to be the one to pay for the transaction fee. I kinda like them for adding btc.

Any new bitcoin-related service out in public is a good thing so I'm still happy about this news. I just don't think I'll use this service personally.

These services weren't popular all around, and the usage scale of these weren't that big. Another thing countries with legal support for Cryptocurrency usage does it, because recently on the day of inauguration itself the Bitcoin ATM was taken away by the government operating in India. Everywhere it isn't successful. The global need and the governments involvement is a must.

Some USA states accept bitcoin as a payment method and this payment system brings more popularity to store for being a first. Bitcoin's floating exchange rate doesn't let stores to accept as the main payment method but for a starting point, this is what they can do as an owner of small businesses.

Depends on their regulations, they are very supportive on cryptocurrency but it has a limitations. Since cryptocurrency or bitcoin can’t control by anyone, maybe USA will just make a good regulations. Having ATM on supermarket is great, but I wont use it for my security purposes, better not to use it regularly because there might be someone watching your back and planning to robbed you.

This is a great initiative from the developers of such automated machines. The mass adoption of cryptocurrencies would take time to be fully realized but it would be fulfilled in future. The few people who know about cryptocurrency transactions appreciate the convenience and smart way at which we can make payments with cryptocurrencies.

I do believe that there are people that will use Coinstar machine for purchasing part of bitcoin for some small amounts. I now that I would. The idea is great and it still is something that people who knows and are part of cryptocurrency world will appreciate but we need more of those all around the world. Since I am not close to this store I will have to wait and hope that soon, some Coinstar will appear in my neighborhood.

Anyways, i think it is actually a good initiative for helping in mass adoption. But right now, we want people/business to accept it as a form of payment. In my country the payment processor handles that. Unfortunately aren't that many shops using that certain payment processor, but things are (slowly) evolving.

The point is that many stores may prefer to receive fiat at the end of the day (easier paperwork, taxes, ..), but that should not stop them from accepting Bitcoin. With the correct payment processor it can be done.
We may just need more payment processors integrate this mean of payment.

Large grocery stores will take longer to accept payments in bitcoin without having it converted first. Though the fact that this gets raised quite often nowadays seem to indicate that adoption is indeed on it's way. Bitcoin as an alternative mode of payment will be a big boost in customer convenience.
