Okay so after a sync to block 50280 (verified correct chain by checking block explorer) with new wallet I replaced the new wallet.dat with my backup.
here are the results:
-Looks like its connected but stuck at block 47782.
-Deleted backup wallet and allowed NRS to create a new wallet.dat, same stuck at block 47782.
-Brought back the wallet.dat that was used to sync the new blockchain, same thing, stuck at 47782.

Looks like we need a fix for the new wallet or something on the network is buggering it all up.

I think I found part of the problem:
The links to the new wallets .exe and .zip files you posted do not seem to work.
I tried running these in two new VM's and they just crash at startup.
Same goes for the wallets that are currently available through Noirds.com.

Finally I tried downloading a wallet through link:

I tried downloading again for the 3rd time.

I have Windows 7

downloaded from mega from first page. reinstalled.

opened the wallet. Put in phrase for having the wallet unlocked and encrypted.

Closed my wallet.

Reopened my wallet. Put in my phrase for having the wallet unlocked and encrypted.

all sync and on the proper blockchain.

I even use malwarebytes in the background at all times.

Still got this problem, stuck with sync, even with clean start it doesnt load. Waiting for devs reply on this issue.

+1. Adding the ypool node doesn't make any difference for me. Wallet is still stuck.

There seems to be a problem for those starting from block zero. Once i get homw, i will create a new vm and try to recreate your problems.

Are you still having the same problem? The issue is that some simply have not updated their wallets. Use he block explorer address as the only node and it will sync.

Can you please explain how I use the block explorer adress as the only node ?

Mario.. eventually.. I was able to sync, but took some time.. but it got some "trusted" nodes...

please try from scratch with only your wallet.dat

it's taking a while to find nodes on the correct version

you can use the block explorer as a node and i think all the exchanges. ypool as well has updated.
