A couple of questions not answered by the website:

1. If I subscribe to the ICO and qualify, do I get a physical black card?

Thanks.

Monaco black card is only available for 499 top investors you can see top contributors here https://mona.co/leaderboard.html
Currently to get a black card the minimum contribution over 8.11ETH this will continue to change as new investors invest more than 8.11ETH until we get the last result when ico ends.

1. If I subscribe to the ICO and qualify, do I get a physical black card?
2. Onboarding is via smartphone. I have no intention of getting one. Is there an alternative?
3. What are the currencies supported at launch? I was interested in Plutus until they told me AUD and NZD plans were far in the future.

Thanks.

Hi Kris,

This is no doubt an interesting project and the crypto world has long been waiting for a project like this.

However, there are a few buts that need clarification.

So, I would like to know what happens next if the VISA agreement fails to scale through. (Or is it impossible).

In my own opinion, an irrevocable VISA agreement should have been fully secured before this ICO. Reason being that the VISA card is the main thing you are offering. Every other offer is attached to the VISA card.

Kind regards.

I do not believe that there is a partnership with the Visa. One project has already played on such a deception, I do not think that this project has such partnerships.

You see the VISA logo anywhere?! This project is just marketing and fancy graphics, imo.

The world's best cryptocurrency card... it's even really bad marketing.

But they are free to surprise me.

===> What exactly are Monaco tokens used for?

Monaco tokens will  give you the right to claim a pro-rata portion of ERC20 in our Asset Contract. Monaco will send 1% of all transactions funded with crypto to the Asset Contract.
In essence this creates a very strong link between growth in our platform transaction volume and growth in Monaco token price in secondary market.

===> and will we be able to trade them on mainstream crypto exchanges?

We will be announcing the exchanges before the Token Sale is finished.

====> I see you use the VISA brand a lot in your description. Is VISA onboard and why would VISA choose this token where many others have failed to partner with VISA?

We've singed an agreement with an issuer (Principal Member of VISA), we're now in the process of becoming a program manager.
There is quite a few crypto cards in the market, who have successfully partnered with VISA. Monaco is different in 3 crucial ways:
- we give you perfect interbank rates on fiat currencies, effectively saving you a ton of money
- we have probably the sexiest card in the market
- our platform allows BTC, ETH and soon other ERC20 tokens as funding sources, without compromising stability, security and, last but not least, without asking you to convert to fiat on deposit

This looks like a very promising project. I plan to invest it but I have no Ethereum right now. What bonus do we get if we invest today?
1 ETH = 140 MCO or 130 MCO?

Not having Eth is not a problem as you can buy it in all crypto exchanges in the world. And transferring Eth is very fast, so you should not worry about it.

Curious as to whether you have a 'main' account? Is this your first account on the forum? I am just wondering, because I am weary of any IPO/ICO where the user is a new member. If this account is just for the project, would you be willing to post on your main account so we can see that you are not a new member?

I am sure you can understand hesitancy when plunging into another pre-sale, without knowing what we are truly getting in to. There have been far too many shady, lying, nefarious and downright malign people here that create what sounds like a truly innovative service, but burn everyone once they get their money.

I am not trying to be rude or hostile, quite the opposite. I would just like to know all the details before I spend coins on something. Smiley

I hope this is legit, because I would be happy to buy in.

Hi MisterCoin,

I'm genuinely new to the forum.

While I find what I see here quite fascinating, I rarely contribute on any kind of forums. I have found that I learn fastest by reading, meeting & hiring people from the industry, asking them the right questions & then simply applying to what I've learned to the process of building a company.

Making a conscious effort to post here, so that the community gets a chance to know me a little bit more, but its challenging, purely from the perspective of time needed to do it well.
I have found slack to be slightly more efficient, as I can respond very quickly, even on the go. I would encourage you to join the conversation there - slack.mona.co

I personally think monaco is a scam but I hope to be proven wrong and not to see people losing their savings from this project. I just see too many red flags, things that are copied, little word on support from visa themselves and springing up out of nowhere.

look at slack channel they already said: "we signed a deal with a visa issuer and are in the process of becoming a program manager"
also I know two other crypto projects which already have a VISA card. this should not be a problem

I will take the risk to invest here as I really want a card and cards for all my family. This project seeks to bring ease and comfort to many who are working in cryptoland and I always ignore the FUD and trolling and would never accuse anyone of being a scam UNTIL they actually scam. Yes I have been scammed before by many ugly devs but I am used to taking risks and this one to me is worth taking. Everyone should do their due diligence of course before investing anywhere, that's common sense.
right. everyone should do their own due diligence. but I think for example "coolsai" didnt not inform himself properly.

After reading through all the post, I am also a little concerned.

join the slack channel. they are more active there and answering questions there.
this forum is just full of trolls and newbies...
this is 100% not a scam. look at linked in profiles.

there are trolls in this thread arguing with false information e.g. about VISA license.
