yes it is.

and for 30 bucks you can bump the 3 year to a 5 year warranty which is really nice if you grabbed a 3090.

here is link to Newegg Shuffle

I signed up for the 3070.  The retail prices for the 6800 and 6800 XT seem a bit high to me.

the 1030 runs the monitor. thread rippers do not have a built in gpu.

Part of my mining  subsidies my gpu sales.

The 3090 evga 3987 will do about 120 mh  about 120 x 7.33 = $8.80 a day the threadripper makes about $1.20 a day this rig will burn about $1.20 in power.

So I clear $8.80   I have Feb, March,April,May or 120 Days of 10 cent power this is 120. so 120 x 8.80 = 1056

If things keep up this year the way I hope I will do better than that. Gear shortage will not end and I have the shot to sell that card I got for 2k at a premium.  when and if that happens the 1030 is already in place running the monitor.

If everything fucks up I have a cheap power place and will move the gear there and just mine it.

The 3090 has a 5 year warranty.

That make perfect sense on the 1030.  Wasn't even thinking about running the monitor lol.

Fun high end rig there.  Happy mining!

In this environment I would say gpu sales are subsidizing some of my mining.  I've sold the few 3070's I have got in to help pay for the gigabyte vision 3080 in my living room rig.

I like evga's warranty's as they are transferable when you sell the gpu.

holy moly 700000 x 0.017 is good.

I will cash 10% today 70,000

edit
sold 35000 today

sold 35000 more

down to 630000 Doge. But I will take it.

I got about 0.0192 for it so x 70000 = 1344 pays off most of the 3090

Curious as to what the 1030 is doing for you in this rig?  Seems like a good rig for doing some speculative mine and hold in-between mining eth.  You gonna do any mining of the Octopus algo and hold a few coins in case they are more than a fad?  Or any other coins?

Gear prices are defiantly nuts right now.

Newegg is doing a daily "Shuffle" for some hot items.  It's essentially a raffle like Japan does for new console launches. The AMD 5600x and 5800x CPU's seem to be an option pretty regularly.

They also throw in some GPU's mostly the higher priced AIB models.

Goes live usually around 2pm to 5pm est.  Get like 3-4 hours to purchase if "your selected.

https://www.newegg.com/product-shuffle

Site shows as expired till they load the new stuff for the daily shuffle.

Thanks for the info on the newegg shuffle.  I never heard of it before and I've bought a bunch of stuff from Newegg.

no they all are power in.

I do the seasonic focus 850watt psu and connect to all 3 satas 2 cables I double it up but don't connect 2 consecutive slots with gpu's so no cable melt   and all 3x 4 pin Molex

this is the psu

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/seasonic-focus-gx-850-850w-80-gold-psu-full-modular-fan-control-in-fanless-silent-cooling-mode-10-yr-warranty-black/6414265.p?skuId=6414265

it has 3 molex and 2 sata cables.

since I know I alternate the gpu's on that board overload of the cables does not happen.

makes for a compact build of

3x 3080's. .......................................700watts at wall you must set to 205 watts on smos if you do 3 of these. ideally if you want 3x 3080's a 1000 or 1200 watt psu set to 220 watts is better.

 or 3x 3080tis ...................................500watts at wall
or 3x 5700xt with a short 5600xt .........550 watts at  wall

oh I grabbed that 5500 xt from b&H thanks.

Thanks for the info Phil.  I might want to try one of these builds.  I'm slowly trying to get a nice 3000 series rig going but we all know how hard it is to get those cards.  I got lucky and have a 3060ti that's supposed to arrive tomorrow and another one on Friday.  It would be nice to not have to deal with risers.  Keep me in mind if you do decide to sell off some of your stock of those boards.

Curious why the 4th card has to be short though

well on a 3x5700 1x5600 build

that build allows all cards to breath

on a 3 card 3060ti

slot 1 3060ti
slot 2 blank
slot 3 3060ti
slot 4 blank
slot 5 3060ti
slot 6 blank

the 3060ti is nice in that you effectively have spare pcie slots

3 card onda d1800 builds are very stable and  compact

Yeah the only hope I have is no one gets very much gear and price is driven upwards long enough to match diff.

It may be we get the 6-9 months os good profits.

Adding gear may be next to impossible for most anyone.

I would think this could be a good thing and keep profits up 🆙.

I now have more space and power.
I have 400 amps at 240 volts and a new space.

I can do 70kwatts easy. I got some onda d1800 boards coming on the 28th.

I could do 3x 3060ti on a board and do 100 boards no problem.

Biggest issue is getting cards. Maybe it is a good thing.

Just add a few cards a month when they show up.

Question about the Onda board Phil.  If you're only going to use 3 slots, do you still have to connect all the power inputs?  It looks like the three SATA is power in and the molex is power out?

Might be getting close to a short term top.  MSI may be making some mining cards soon.

https://www.tomshardware.com/news/msi-registers-rtx-3060-ti-miner-cards

With the way that MSI has priced their cards this year can't see them being that cheap compared to non mining 3060 ti's so they would need to be fast or less power hungry.

they just need to be available. Grin

Available now for delivery next week!
Where? I can't find them..
