I shortened the op to main arguments above, so that I can respond. Dear op, that's really sad that you lost your coins, it really is. And it's true lots of us experienced the same thing at least once. I invested in eth when it was worth $16 and lost 60% of it when it was $300, I know what you're talking about. Since that day I don't like ethereum, even though there probably are real reasons to beware of it as well (such as low security of the platform itself). However, I don't think it is the whole world of currencies you should blame. For me this world is mostly the opposite of what you mentioned. There are lots of trusted forum members on this website who lend money or pay the winners of some contests. They don't have a lot of things to risk, since nobody knows who they really are. You can say they lose reputation, though. But there are (or so I heard) honest dealers in the Darknet as well, and these people are supposed to be bad ones. The world of cryptocurrencies in a world of economic freedom, the only one out there in the Universe. It gives a lot of people chances to become rich, prove being worth something and develop new skills.

OP here in crypto are more on investing and trading so if you don't like or do not do invest that's a problem because we can earn by doing invest and buy some coins to trade.I think we have different minds and feeling about what we say or talk about but if you have reason to not do invest then do it for yourself then if anyone want to invest then do it for themselves that's all.

That is why we need to be careful and learn to identify which ICO is true and which is a scam only. Investing in Crypto is not bad, it is a great opportunity to all of us who want to have a luxurious lifestyle. 

Yes, we should understand where he is coming from. I would also be frustrated and rant about it if I lost my coins from hackers or scammers or thieves who are really milking crypto's because there's a lot of people who don't know how to protect your coins or their funds.


You are one example of what I have been telling. You are a newbie and didn't know how to protect your coins. Of course everyone is at risk to be hack. That's why you should learn first how wallet works and how to secure them. I won't spoon feed you but you can go around the forum and search for answers how to better secure and protect your coins. Just a friendly advise to you.

The thieves are everywhere so you need to take care of your money by storing them in a good paper wallet.If you stire them in exchanges you wil get stolen by scammers.
Crypto is the best investment in my thought because it is giving more profits than any other type of investment if you don't want to invest just go away and don't create panic situation around the new investors.

risk is given in all forms of investment, the main reason for me is they do not be anonymous in your money in online because the possibility of loosing money is very high unlike in investing in real state you know where to get if something bad happens in the company but i enjoy to invest in crypto world because the income you get is much higher than investing in real state.

I can understand the frustration but there had to be something you've done wrong OP. You made a mistake by trusting a third party site or clicking a phishing link and your money got stolen. Do you honestly believe that if you make a similar mistake in real life , like leave your keys in your car door, nobody will take advantage of you?

Correct, just to think off that this is just like a battlefield. You would really need to buckle up yourself to be protected which my means of setting up stronger security protection of your holdings here on crypto. Just a normal thing to keep secure of your keys,once compromised then expect you would really have a loss. If you do risk here on cryptoworld to earn money then you should know the possible things that might happen along the way.

cryptocurrency was developed bcz the current banking system was not preferred by everyone.and before investing your money in crypto's you should learn basic thing about crypto. always protect your private key or seed and keep them in offline sources.digital world is pron to hacking activity thats why always proctect your password or passphrase.

Yeah, in altcoin most of the coins are here but only few coins are reliable and profitable for us and other ones are just a coins. Being a trading, i always select in these coins like ETH, LTC, Waves and bitcoin, may be these coins suit me for trading.       

I could understand that you you are upset since your coins has been robbed. But that does not mean that all the coins in this crypto world are robbed ones  and its holders were all thieves. You should be careful with your coins because it's nothing less than money as it is a new form of money. We must see the positive effects of bitcoin which it has created in the economy as well as Personal lives of people 

Absolutely agree.  You must remember that bitcoin was established to either participate in illegal activities (remember silk road) or to have a currency for people that did not want to pay taxes.

While they may claim, "this brings power back to the people".  What they really mean is that they want to avoid paying taxes to the federal government, yet they still want to avail of the benefits of others that pay taxes.  Sure they don't want a centralized federal government to tax them, but do they want to drive on the roads paved by that same centralized government?  What about subsidized health care and other handouts that they regularly avail of?

At the end of the day, they're just greedy criminals (yes people who don't pay taxes are criminals) that want to avail of benefits without having to pay for them.

Another thing to remember is that crypto is not worth anything.  It has no intrinsic value.  The only benefit of bitcoin was it's ability to do free transactions which is no longer the case because the founders apparently forgot the underlying economic principle of "there is no free lunch".

Another value of bitcoin was only brought about by it's criminal past when it was being used on the silk road.  It's demand was there only because criminals could not anonymously transact in a sovereign currency.

For doing legal transactions, bitcoin has no value over sovereign currency and with the high transaction costs, it is worthless as a medium of exchange.

As a store of value, it is worth nothing because it doesn't exist (it's only code).

The technology is amazing, not the coin.

Just to be clear, I'm no fan of sovereign currencies either as they technically have no value either as they aren't backed by anything.

If they want to bring power back to the people, then why didn't these people just buy gold, silver, real estate or something that has value in the first place?  Well i'll tell you why, it's because they were broke.  In the physical world they had no assets, so they invented a fake currency or system that would make them feel good even though the system was unsustainable from the start (remember mining was never profitable with actual electricity costs).

It can't be deny that most of the altcoin was just a piece of shit. But even still like that there are more members are continuing investing unto it. But honestly, There are still some legit altcoins that are good which can be helpful to anyone here. Like Ethereum, Waves, Neo, Xem, Ltc, Omisego and others.

There is no reason not to invest in crypto. The reason you gave here are not good enough for me.

The number one reason not to invest in crypto is the risk that every crypto have,  investors always fight and accept every consequences once they invest in an altcoin, two possible things will only happen,  success and lost.

In crypto there's a lot of different coins with volatile price so not investing here is not good and i think there's no reason not to invest here because this digital money are more on investing tools or we can call it like that.See the price now and the cycle of btc it always inconsistent in many like fee,transaction and in price this is so risky because of the volatile price of it even you only have btc and not buy any altcoins still it's like invest at all.

Even without I would rather prefer hodl.

And again, there are place to publicize ICO's around here. 

investing crypto money into ICO will definitely be a big advantage. now the benefits of investing in ICO will be more profitable than it is. expecting profits from trades that we do not sometimes get. but one of the problems, sometimes there are ICO who do scammers
