Yes, yes and yes on the marketing...........there is a plan to address Nxts marketing weaknesses coming up.
Or at least the outline of a plan. Possibly.

Sounds good to me RB  Cool

A NXT focused conference will happen. Its just a matter of time, and getting the location right of course.

Heres a nice idea, just been posted on the NXTforum
https://nxtforum.org/nxt-promotion/nxt-supernet-annual-report/msg195343/#msg195343

Yep you should link to my post or post it on the NXT forum so that others can see it. I hope people will do that because I only gave good advices.

Most coins have good marketing and crappy design/development. NXT is exactly the opposite, its a great coin with ultra good developers and projects, but it's marketing suck a lot.

Always improve on the weak link Wink

Apart from the usual social media circles, where else would you promote/market NXT?

1) Well for start in cryptocurrency conferences, that would be the nr. 1 priority, to have an increases Public Opinion ( a PR team is definitely needed).
A few banners setup in all cryptocurrency conferences, would cost a few hundred 100$ but so what, it would have a big return on investment, once people would start investing in NXT.

2) Then we would need more NXT conferences, that are just for NXT or hosted by NXT members and talking about Bitcoin 2.0 projects

3) Then double down on social media, you need to assemble a marketing team too, to specially promote it on all social media sites in an organized way (bounty, giveaways, organize tournaments [ perhaps hook up with some gamers to organize gaming tournaments like many other coins do] , events, etc.)

4) Then improve the SEO of the NXT website and make sure it pops up on first google page if somebody writes in "cryptocurrency"

etc.

These are just a few of my ideas, but should be fairly easy to do, with little or no costs, just a bit of organization and professionalism Cheesy

Great banner for NXT on the conference. Smiley

Yea, maybe guys should put an NXT banner on all crypto conferences. How about that? It would promote it.

I find it disgusting that NXT is on the 12th place amongst cryptocurrencies, yet it has no marketing team whatsoever.

NXT guys , create a marketing team and promote the shit out of NXT, don't be lazy  Grin

Nah, I'm not exactly the speechifying type, and we didn't have an available speaker slot in the schedule.
Having said that, I was really impressed by the conference, so we are definitely going next year (or whenever the following Reinvent.Money takes place),
and we should have a speaker slot then.

Here's Max Keiser's talk from Reinvent.Money on Saturday:

Nice.  Sometimes it takes a year to get the feel for it.  Lots of time to prep somebody to get up there.

Cheesy Even it isn't a show off, i think in subconscious it will still do it's work since he looked impressed for some reason.

Good work with the conference. Nice to see the word about cryptos getting spread in general.

It is indeed a total show off move, bringing a Lambo to a finance conference, but that is how Marc rolls, it's his personal ride........and , lets face it, almost everyone loves funky supercars. Shocked Grin

Here's a quick pic of the stage, with Max Keiser and Stacy Herbert on the stools:

Who would not be impresseD?

Buying a lambo from his bitcoin profits. That's very cool.

The same could be done with NXT when it comes the time, so I think people should hoard NXT while they can Cheesy

great job on the conference.  it is good to see crypto leave shady corners of the internet and have a real presence and meetings with real finance players.

Today is another great day for Nxt! Thanks to Marc De Mesel, Damelon and EvilDave, Nxt is a part of http://www.reinvent.money/#sprekers
Here some Cool Pics from the Conference:

Only guys on the conference you dont have any ladies going there. Why arent women interested in NXT or in crypto at all?

ReInvent money wasn't purely about crypto, but more about future trends in finance, and so there were (i estimate) about 5% non-testosterone based lifeforms present, which is better than any crypto conference I've ever been to..... Grin

Here's a copy of the programme for the day:

Well in any case it looks like it was an exciting conference that can help NXT go to the next level!

I regret i cannot go there, I hope i can make it to a future one. But atleast it sheds some light on NXT too and help promote it further Cheesy
