Just for old times sake, here is a block check:

46958      8797677203327163788      woensdag 22 januari 2014 1:27:55

      3      1'043 + 3      384 B

      2      9393619519750392302      204 %

And I want to put in a claim for a possible NXT record:

My VPS has been up running NRS 5.7 for over 6 days straight. No reboot, no problems.
146 hours !

I've accumulated 2236 active peers, is this a record ? Can anyone beat it?

Last very important point;

Everyone who reads this, pat yourselves on the back.
NXT is going to be huge and it is all because of ............you.
To the awesome community of talented, dedicated and sometimes just plain weird and wonderful NXT'ers:

Nice work, guys, onwards and upwards !

That is:
 - from an alias you find my account and my avatar (and my email etc)

Not:
 - from an account you find my avatar

Things will be handled in clients transparently, so you will have a built-in address book, which will use these aliases to show related info for each address.

And for you, yes, it will be just one address (or alias) and that's all, no funny stuff Smiley

So, apparently FrictionlessCoin has given up on the NXT source altogether now.

That didn't take long.

I just launched NXTclient.net - on this website I will release all "official" releases for every OS. I will get all updates from the developers directly and only release there verified updates. I hope this site will help all newbies, rookies, amateurs, profis and stakeholders to get their latest updates.

Permanent links to the latest versions (eg. for automated update-scripts):

Windows: http://NXTclient.net/clients/windows/latest.zip

COMING SOON
Linux: http://NXTclient.net/clients/linux/latest.zip
Mac OS: http://NXTclient.net/clients/mac_os/latest.zip
Android: http://NXTclient.net/clients/android/latest.zip
iOS: http://NXTclient.net/clients/ios/latest.zip
Blackberry: http://NXTclient.net/clients/blackberry/latest.zip

Looks good. I just wanted to point out, the official packages I make are generic, and I only ever use Linux to develop and test them, there is nothing windows specific about them...

Thanks. I know, but the most people out there need a windows-button, so they know where to click. Wink Anyway, I'm planning to link to native clients when they are ripe for decision and established.

JL, could you please explain in simple Joe words what causes "generating an incorrect block..." error? In one month of using NRS of newest version, I get only these errors.
Maybe this?

[2014-01-21 15:10:38.931] Re-scanning blockchain...

[2014-01-21 15:12:37.437] ...Done

Is this normal behaviour?
Yes, and it is great that it no longer spits out a whole bunch of errors while doing the rescan.

Are you against the ID of a special alias with @ in the front meaning it's bound to a the account id?

Hm, u shouldn't ask me, decide urself.

Well, I am for it.. But it's you guys (devs) that have to implement it :-)
Please enter it as a feature request in Jira, but I will not have time to look at those soon. I am in the middle of the 0.6.0 refactoring.

I think theres something wrong in the asset exchange test system  I issued 2 assets some time ago and they arent showing up, though I did get Ids for them:

# ncli placeAskOrder holms.cloudapp.net PASSPHRASE 15328485893864579482 100000 2 1 100

    transaction: 11152796696257253233
#

# ncli issueAsset holms.cloudapp.net PASSPHRASE Widget Thingamabobdoohickey 1000 1000

    transaction: 11636237124380534441

#

I noticed the test system doesnt seem to respond to most API commands either;  Ive never been able to getBalance to getState or anything like that, or to send NXT to another account.

Actually I am still not 100% sure how it happend. We came to the conclusion that it must be a Keylogger/trojan BUT then they would have had access to many online wallets and exchanges, and ONLY my NXT accounts were compromised. So overall strange, but it could have been avoided with using Linux or upping my Windows security.

You followed a link from this user, who deleted his posts:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/wastedbit-120275

And you downloaded hacked program from this newbie:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/nxtuser-170751
What is this about?  It is not clear from the links.

BTW.  I take it as policy to delete old postings that are no longer relevant.  Why not?

Well, i got hacked, and he states the 2 links that i used before i was hacked.
This really sucks.  Based on the length of the passwords that you posted, you were using the Java routine, correct?  That code is visible and readable.  {You can change the .jar extention to .zip; then you can extract the java source code.}  I've parsed it (then and now) and not seen anything in it that could do this.  I have used both programs on my PC for weeks and accessing my account - though I no longer would suggest anyone use the EXE without public source.

On the 8423671173148912884 account, did you buy alias?  That is dangerous to do with you main account.  The secretphrase is visible in the History and I was able to find it in a windows file of urls on my PC even after purging history.
