Guys - the sooner that you can work out your on the "same side" the better.

I think you have pointed out some issues at dgex and I think that they have already started to change things accordingly.

Fights don't help with the price of NXT and therefore don't really benefit either of your (or us) so let's try and focus on improving the technology and the platform.

4.  NXT Sales/Marketing/Promotion/ - to promote and spread the word about NXT.

Not everyone here is a coder so there are other areas in which people with other expertise can use to promote nxt.

Could you have all of these attempts listed in our promotion tracking thread ?

I agree with this and I believe it's an excellent idea and naming strategy for marketing and promotion purposes.  The only thing I would change is the spelling and use the conventional correct spelling so it's easy for new users to find, spell, and search online such as:

Nextcoin
Nexttalk
Nexttrade

and wrap it all under one umbrella such as "Next Economy"?

I'm not sure about the "Next Economy" but I'm gonna definitely start referencing your terms in my upcoming Nextcoin videos unless I see a better naming convention.

Huh? I have no team, other than the NXT community itself. I have no puppets, nxtgt on his own started the thread, I only sent him 300XRP to help fund new ripple accts. To my knowledge this thread has a lot more members, but never has anything been censored or moved to the trash.

Since you define what "appropriately discussed" means, it just sounds like censorship to me

I don't have a covert agenda, my agenda is fully disclosed. I convinced peercover to run an exchange based on forging revenues as a model. I have no direct ties to peercover, I just like their tech. It is in the interest of NXT for there to be a way to trade NXT without fees. That is my agenda, not covert at all.

I have a small fraction of NXT that you have, yet I have personally covered peercover's development costs of over 100000 NXT. Not the 800K that you lost (I do believe that you have lost this much), but what are you personally doing for the NXT community? Create some bounties. Why not create an 800K NXT bounty and give it to yourself to cover your losses? Then you can go back to the old model, which was good. forging revenues will continue to go up, you have 70 million on deposit and who knows how many more yourself.

I am not trying to compete with you. I have no exchange of my own. I want what is best for NXT. Shouldn't you want the same?

this is only one of many... there already is starcraft and poker idea, but there will be a huge number of many other online games played for Nxt. Not only 3Dgames or casinos, but also tournaments in online trading card games...

Without the right price, who would sell out NXT? If they did not sell, how to have more people involved, NXT only a few thousand people a game? Do not get too attached technology, while ignoring market

Ignoring speculative crazy prices, NXT price will be based on its expected yield. With current limited functionality, the annual yield is estimated to be around 0.5%, not really much to get excited about. However, with a decentralized creation of independent groups, each working to generate transaction fees, we are hopeful for a significant increase in yield.

Since NXT yield is in NXT, there is no reference to fiat or even BTC that the positive yields can be mapped to. The closest model that can be used is growth stocks PE ratios, but still we have the problem of mapping to fiat. Ultimately the market will do this mapping, but assuming that we can count on a stable floor value that is around 50% of the alltime high (one week average, not spot price), then the value of NXT in fiat would be:

(50% of alltime high in fiat) * (lifetime sum of expected forging revenues)

Let us use 4 cents as the first value, as we seem to be stabilized at .00005 BTC for now.

At average 5% annual yield, compounded 10 years -> 68% increase, 20 years -> 165% increase
At average 10% annual yield, compounded 10 years -> 159% increase, 20 years -> 572% increase
At average 15% annual yield, compounded 10 years -> 4 times increase, 20 years -> 16 times increase

Once NXT starts yielding double digit percentages, the valuation increases will become quite significant. Compounding these yields year after year leads to some crazy big lifetime forging revenues. As each new features adds new ways for NXT to generate transaction fees, as the years go by, not only are the NXT compounding, the rate at which they grow also increases. The gains NXT makes in growing the transaction fees will be precisely measurable.

The big wildcard is the longevity the market will assume NXT will have. I am using 10 years and 20 years, but the market will use different durations.

What I am talking about is the fundamental value of NXT, not some speculative here today gone tomorrow bubble price. If the fundamental value of NXT is 50 cents, who knows what sort of price the speculators will bid it up to.

Anyway, I am glad your question is framed in the 1 to 2 year timeframe. I recommend NXT at current prices and just put it away for a while. Not too much, you need to be able to sleep at night regardless of what the crazy market price is doing.

Yesterday I sent out a newsletter where I touched upon the manipulation tactics that you and your team are using. An example of those is that the above propaganda is not true. Peercover thread was not suspended, it was moved to trash folder as my requests to one of your puppets to change the opening post to not bash DGEX were not fulfilled. From that thread move you got more fuel to bolster your claims of manipulation and censorship. You know all well that when a forum has thousands of members it needs strong moderator activity. Trying to slip through that with unacceptable childish business practices and claiming suppression, is, yes, naive.

All appropriately discussed competing exchanger threads are in good standing on nextcoin.org.

As for DGEX operations, I don't know why you make such a fuss over it, other than your own covert agenda. Why not concentrate on bringing your own business advantages to the community instead of hanging onto what you consider the bad sides of your competitor. That actually starts to look rather pathological.

juts a few words about the client.

the dev differs a little because the whole gui is dynamically created and rendered
during runtime. this means every single tiny gui-widget/element is custom made
and has to defined and created manually.
while this takes more time than a usual approach, where you just plug in a
gui framework, providing a pre-defined set of gui widget, it has, once made
many advantages. cross-os, tiny executable, no dependencies, no bloat with
images etc. moreover this approach gives 100% flexibility in creating gui
components you can't find currently at the market or if exist, you have to
pile up your dev-stack again until it's geting instable or complicating and
bloated again. the goal is to keep the full featured client < 1mb, i will keep that.

to show what i mean just an example. for the hive i was looking for a flexible
2d/3d heatmap. instead using stuff from the bar i just coded my own version,
giving me max. flexibility todo stuff like this and much more usefull visualization:

That is the only code I had. Is there new code with TF I can use. In the whitepaper I prefaced the Transparent Forging section by stating we had to understand normal forging process first.
