What this guy recently learned is wrong; Nxt is not Turing-complete.  Nxt AT is planned to be Turing-complete, but it is a layer on top of Nxt.

Nxt AT?

AT = "Automated Transactions".  It would essentially be the Nxt equivalent of Ethereum.

CIYAM is discussing this over on his forum, and would probably love more input.  It's being discussed here and the CIYAM Open Project work can be found here.

Now, this is normally the time of the day when I produce a sensible, reasoned summary of the main topics from the last 20 pages or so, with my well-balanced thoughts and comments about the current developments in NXTworld.........but, fuck it:

NXT 2 DA MOOOOONNNN!!!!!!

Nice work, everyone.

On a serious note, I'm expecting a full summary as I rely on them for toilet reading.

Yes, but the problem there is conflict of interest as it is owned by a business.
Other exchanges can not post there freely as they would be posting on a competitors forum.

We're working on a solution already Smiley
Give it a few days  Cheesy

I am glad to hear that. Back in the day, I started posting on there, until they censored the thread about trading on Peercover. But the only alternative -- at nxtcrypto.org has an admin that disappeared months ago.

I will start a thread on nextcoin.org and if the new forums come online, will try to move discussion there.

So following up on my earlier post, what NXT forum has the most traffic these days?

After quick glance it looks like nextcoin.org. Is that right?

People, how it is possible to trade in AE not with NXT?

This is a discussion about semantics.

At the HEART, you CAN'T.  But:

- Litecoin can trade on AE via Nxt
- Bitcoin can trade on AE via Nxt
- therefore a service can calculate the cost of Litecoin in Bitcoin and trade them against one another. Nxt is invisible.

Think more like a chess player Wink

Of course someone could build something on top of Nxt/AE and people would shout "OMG you can buy unicorn assets with gobbleschmoggles". But that would involve another entity on top of Nxt AE. Please don't confuse people with a semantic discussion Smiley

Let's get this straight for everyone: Trading assets on AE runs only with NXT.

edit: moon.

http://hashrate.org just paid out it's third payout.  (http://hashrate.org/payouts.html)
Five miners took home over 100 NxT, two miners took home over 200 NxT and one took home over 400 NxT
Start mining for NxT today!

I got 151 yesterday, and 147 this morning. keep it up!

I am very curious about the results that are going to come from this.  When somebody states "I got X NXT", could you please also state the Mhash/sec of the rig you used and how long you ran it to get the NXT?

Calculations are still spotty,  we've got 2 payouts. Both described as "less than 24 hours"
 I've mentioned a few times I am running 4x7850 pushing 1400khs locally.

You can go to hashrate.org and search for my account number as listed in my signature and see my blocks. Sorry for no links,  replying from my phone.

Hmm, regarding this talk about trading on AE... only NXT can buy an asset... it doesn't matter if there will be some service that would allow to buy asset with BTC... you ALLWAYS MUST GO through NXT, and that NXT's must be bought somewhere, and that will drive up the price of NXT... more trade, higher the price - simple as that... I don't see a problem with this...?

Just answering this: I haven't summarised because it was simply impossible without creating a bias in my posting, and I won't do that.
There are not as many "updates" and "releases" these days, and I didn't want to do just one link posts.

I have also been busy with many projects and committees, so just couldn't Smiley

I don't want to come across as criticizing you. You do your summaries out of the goodness of your heart, and you don't owe us anything. I can't imagine how much of your time it took to do them, so thank you for everything you do!

I didn't think for one moment you were criticising Smiley
I just felt I needed to explain. At least: I wanted to explain, that may be more to the point.

The idea of the summaries and my site is and still is to show how much is being done.
At the moment we are going through quite a stressful period, and I want to point out that:

a) it's not surprising and actually normal
b) there is a lot happening behind the scenes that doesn't make sense to show until things are finished (for instance lots of work on the AE)
c) We're slowly becoming more organised Smiley
