You are wrong. The code that transforms passphrase into account number is open. Moreover, on this forum were presented two offline programs to generate "nice" account numbers like vanitygen for bitcoin. You can ever make an analog of directory.io with all passphrases and corresponding account numbers.

This may help some, but it is worth noting that human brains are notoriously poor at generating enough entropy for a good brainwallet passphrase. Bitcoin lore already has too many stories of brainwallets drained by attackers running dictionary attacks. I've seen discussions here, on reddit, on on blogs that provide proof-of-concept code showing how attackers can maintain a local copy of a blockchain and execute a dictionary attack while entirely offline. Yes we will only pay after the job is done, that is the way to go for every other project based payment too!
About donation pool, actually I just gathered that pool to supply the already posted bounties+ the promoting-based giveaway.
So you better keep those donations for when there is a particular bounty you would like to supply. When we get a foundation constructed, we can gather all the donations received into one multisig-account. This way I also feel lighter Wink

There is a problem here: I receive a lot of pms with offers for translation, collaboration or direct business suggestions, with 80% of them demanding some Nxt in return for. I guess some people started to think I am a manager or decision maker for Nxt. This is not true and I don't like it..
I AM ONLY A STAKE HOLDER WHO TRIES TO PUSH THE PROJECT FUTHER A BIT, AND I MAY RETIRE DOING IT AT ANY TIME SOON WHEN I GET TOO MUCH BUSY IN MY DAILY LIFE OR WHEN I GET TIRED.

Transactions are checked for double-spending not only when received and confirmed, but when prepared for confirmation as well.
