As many said before, some funding commitee should hire 4/6 devs to work full time on Nxt. Time is precious.
Go and find them, instead of waiting for them to come from vague announcements.Just take proffessionals if necessary paying its price.

@ wesleyh: i also hated having to click, instead of pushing enter, which i always did by default and nothing happened. But i like your idea of making it more secure.+1 at keeping it like that, and having the settings option to change it , with a warning.

+1. I recommend ricot, broodyrookie, and gimre. You can find more about who are good java programmers and interested in Nxt from here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/nxt-source-code-flaw-reports-397183

I think after the April 4th, NxtFunds should be the leading force in this community.

I propose to the 3 Funds to make an annoucement after that date. Each on a separate day to spread the info load.
Since the 3rd part of the plan is released the 4th, i think a week is needed to organise if needed . So something like 10th, 11th and 12th April.

April 10th : TechDevfunds Announcement
April 11th : InfrastructureFunds Announcement
April 12th : MarketingFunds Announcement

In this annoucement, they do a clear roadmap for this year. Not just some fuzzy goal, but clear one. What direction and goal, How the money will be used,  How much exactly for each goal, etc..

I don't think devunds should just be passive, like just rewarding someone when he do some good work, or announce a bounty for a potential project.
They should be active. It mean search for people to work on NXT, make Job offer, going out of the way to find the most efficient to spend the funds, etc...

+1440

Staying passive, people dont donate or help, because they think: why should i give more money, if they  have tons of Nxt and they dont use them.
If you hired devs and constantly used them in useful things, people would colaborate more, whales too.

Guys, imagine many many assets for BTC on the Asset Exchange. And one of them is the asset of James' gateway.

What could we do to make it easier for average Joe to choose the right and trusted one and ignore the shitty scam assets?

nxt need reputation system.

algo could be gamed.

Quote
Edit: Now i realized nº of trades could also be manipulated,by doing a lot between accounts of the same owner

No matter how fancy the algo would be (by weighting average trades the last 7 days with number of different accounts and star constellation), this could also be gamed.

I would do it showing date created, and number of transfers done.I dont like reputation by users because it could be manipulated.

If a gateway is scammy, people will stop using it and it number of trades will show its not trustworthy. If you find a gateway that has done thousands of trades, and is still working, it should be fine.

Testing on Windows XP - am using the NoScript extension (but clearly I let your site execute scripts).
- I can confirm the error. I get "Could not verify transaction bytes (server side)" when try to send AM in Chrome.

Check if there are any javascript errors  (right click page, inspect element, console).

Strange - got a timeout error trying to repeat (so will check in a couple of minutes).

It seems to work for me. Do you have any firefox extensions running that maybe change the page?

Is this on win, lin, or mac? Do other forms work like sending money, bidding, etc? How about creating a poll?

BTW - I created a Poll successfully.

Does it happen with any message? I'll check out that ff version.

Tried sending you this: Just a test message to see if working now...

same error (am guessing I'll need to log out and back in to fix - but will stay logged in if that is helpful)

Right.

Remember password doesn't work on Safari. I will try again some more time...

edit: Remember password should also be available when creating a new account.

Yep - does seem to be a problem - I get 'secret phrase not specified' and I'm not being asked for it.
So it thinks it has it but doesn't..

EDIT: got it on generate token

EDIT2: seems to be ok for other stuff so far

OK, generateToken seems to always require secretPhrase - so looking at generating that client side also. thx

Accusations

I'm sorry, but this is a big accusation, salsacz.

Can you in ány way back this up with actual facts?

You are at this moment accusing someone who has been very active in the community of being the largest troll and I for one would like to see evidence instead of rumor.

"Innocent until proven guilty" and all that, you know?

Is it really an accusation? Even if it's really Pin who trolls us under Emule name, it's not bad. Everything that forces big holders to sell their coins is good. If some lesser fish paid attention to Emule and sold, well, it's their own fault.

(I recall I sold 20'000 LTC for ~50 USD total, now I would sell this for 300'000 USD. It was my own fault, I learnt the lesson and gonna hold NXTs even if the price drops 100-fold.)
