On top of their prior bombshells regarding the transaction malleability issue, they have imposed additional restrictions on the ability to withdraw funds (i.e., heightened ID verification requirements).
It's looking increasingly likely that Mt Gox is insolvent and trying to buy time. Ironically, one of the early proponents of the merits of Bitcoin as a decentralized platform finds itself at the epicenter of a monumental failure of centralized trust.

I did my best talking about Nxt with Songs of Love with the limited time I had on news 33. It's a great start for us... as soon as they post the video of the interview, I'll work with the PR team on creating a swarm to help generate other news.
I'm quickly online to try eXocoin, does someone want to trade a few of my NXT for 1.5 BTC? How many NXT do you want?
- basic wallet GUI and commandline-tool , account overview, send and receive EXO
- block explorer integrated
- register, sell and buy aliases within the client (decentral, p2p market integrated!)
- chat system: chat with any alias/ account you like decentrally
- attach messages within a transaction (e.g. a reference id etc)
- auto-update (can be turned off in option menu if you like to compile it yourself), enabled by default
- highly secured transactions: error correction, detecting swapping bits (and more in whitepaper)
- secure wallets: Using a random file (created by the gui/cmd tool) or a file of your choice (image, sound file, system file etc). Only you should know what file is needed for your authentication. Then you could store your 10,000 photos from your last holiday on an usb stick. Only you will know what special picture will unlock your account!
- News about eXocoin development, announcements, exchange rates etc will be provided within the gui/cmd tool. If it comes to decissions that will affect the whole community (new features), than you will have the opportunity to vote decentrally within the client for or against an idea and see transparantly the results of the vote.

Need help for Bittrex exchange integration

He accepts escrow but refuses to release the source before I release my escrow. Even though the code will be closed source, he promises to release a working client before i release my escrow. My concern is that maybe he will simply change a few values in nxt and add a new graphical fronted so that it looks like brand new software but is actually just a clone of nxt.
what do you guys think? is there a way of telling whether or not he copied nxt without seeing the source?

if he did copy NXT then he not only ported to c++ but he also added PoW component. Id be more concerned of him cloning CGB/ADT or some other Pos/PoW coin

Ask him to release partial code, he should be comfortable with that if he's legit.

We cannot prove anything regarding the source without partly releasing it I guess. Anyway we will not release any code before the launch. We have explained that we need the escrow funds at least one daybefore launch. It is not your task to check if any conditions are matched if you offer an escrow service for someone else. So if someone want to release the funds you would have to deliver it - that is my understanding of escrow services. If you do not like the idea that eXocoin will be closed source as of now and are not going to finish any escrow under this condition then please hand your holdings back to them. You will see that we have a completely new programm at least when you read the whitepaper or participate in the open beta. That must be proof enough.
