is utipianfuture still in charge for the issuance of assets? I know an austrian company who would like to issue assets for one of their upcoming products that needs fundraising for further developments and would like to help them using nxt ae.

Who is in charge of the AE? Do we know how it will function once it is on the live network? Will I be able to issue an asset myself? How can I let the community know bout it? Where can I upload the business plan? How can the investors make sure that I am not trying to scam them?

You can use description field when you Issue Asset to include short intro and link to the plans!

So there will be no central organisation that will validate the asset issuance like utopianfuture was planning it?

hello,
   which client should I use to test asset-exchange features?
I saw dotNxt/solaris at the first page, but it seems that neither of the two support AE now.

try clienxt : https://bitbucket.org/fmiboy/clienxt/downloads/clienxt_005.zip

ps: update is on the way, it will fix lag that most probably cause by peers and blocks update from ordinary version. for testnet we don't need them, so I comment that part which should fix lagging. added "update table" context menu to refresh Assets table.

It's not a bug. It's a reassignment.

Perhaps if the alias is found to exist and not have been changed (in terms of the "data" part) then it shouldn't be broadcast as a tx at all?

Is the problem of the blockchain which was mentioned here the reason why I have 2 aliases with the same name? This shouldn't be possible as far as I know.

I really would be extremly cool if any of the more experienced NXT users can explain me this because I seriously considering buying me in into NXT and want to know everything I can first.

One big question I didn't found an answer for: With next it's possible to create/buy an alias. I've did dis but because of a timeout the same alias is created two times and costed me two times the fee. Isn't this a bug or aren't aliases unique?

@CfB: How long does it take to CANCEL an order? I have an 'ask' order out for my account - 1738404304940813414 - and I keep sending cancels, wich come back as TXs, but the ask order does not disappear.

If there was an error, I would see a server error ?!?!

{'askOrderIds': ['5954182215831229751']}
{'askOrderIds': ['5954182215831229751']}
{'bidOrderIds': []}
{'transaction': '2104913498585897826'}

I have hit it with more than one cancel already...

EDIT: IT HAS BEEN CANCELLED!!

Order can be cancelled only if the transaction is confirmed.

Is it possible to issue fees for the AE? For example if Person A wants to buy 500 Assets and Person A pays 500 NXT for them, will it be possible for me as the asset owner to issue a fee of 5 NXT for this transaction?

Could anyone translate this in Russian?

IDEX - LIVE Real-time DEX

The owner of the VPS node from US, IP: 54.200.250.250, "The Matrix has you..."
Which version running on node90.nxtbase.com?

The owner of the VPS node from US, IP: 54.201.191.208, node81.nxtbase.com, NRS 0.5.0
157'752 NXT (about 8000$)
NRS 0.5.0 was released at 04-Jan-2014. Today: 10-Feb-2014.

Could you please update your server? Thank you!

node90 had busted blockchain - fixed.
node81 had a config problem preventing new versions from deploying - fixed.

The funny thing is that these two broken nodes were exposed because 0.6.2 upgrade killed the other 98 nxtbase nodes! At this moment, they're all being redeployed with a fresh blockchain.

Quote
I think, if we update our servers in time, possibly we get fewer problems.

If 2 broken servers causes problems for the NXT network, then we have a serious problem! Personally, I think a few broken nodes are good for the network, because they may expose problems that lead to a more robust network. This is why I generally upgrade a day or two after the release and am generally not concerned if 2-3 nodes (out of a 100) are busted at any given time.
