still can not trade BB?

What do you mean by "still"? Always been traded.

He meant most likely to trade on centralized exchange and this matter has been discussed many times. BlackBites of Obyte are designed to be completely anonymous and if they were  traded on centralized exchange that anonymity would go away. Therefore only various realization of p2p trading is available for BB.

Did BB traded publickly,if yes,where?

That info is on official website https://obyte.org/#exchanges
Any ideas how to get people to find it from there? https://blackbytes.io/
Becomes kind of annoying to answer same questions over and over.

Stupid question. How can you tell which version of the wallet you are running?
I can't seem to find the "about" anywhere. Probably so obvious I missed it, just want to make sure that I'm on 3.1.0
I did an update the other day and *think* it was after this release but I'm not 100% sure.

If you click on the burger menu icon then the version is shown right below the logo. Also, if you go to "Settings" -> "About Obyte" then you can see version and GIT commit hash of that release too.

. All full nodes need to upgrade before that date.

I have the light Obyte client of 3.0.3 version. Being launched it said nothing about new release. I want to know if I should be worried about that. Is that upgrade mandatory for my  light client?

It's mandatory for full nodes to update before MCI 5494000, but it's not mandatory for light nodes, just recommended because it fixes some issues, especially on Linux. It also has some features like hiding unwanted smart-contracts and ability to require specific address from URI.

It's seems that Hubs are not made to notifying the wallet apps yet.

Is there any site/channel where you can always check regarding the updates for their wallet? Would it be their Discord channel or their Telegram is much better?

Update was posted here on Bitcointalk. Also on Discord, Telegram, Twitter and Reddit. There is also special channel on Discord called #gui-wallets that has bot, which posts about all the code changes to https://github.com/byteball/obyte-gui-wallet repository. There is summary of changes on each release https://github.com/byteball/obyte-gui-wallet/releases and if you can read code then you can look into each code commit too. On Discord, there is also #announcements channel, which you can also subscribe to as another Discord server or turn on notifications for only that channel.
https://obyte.org/discord

And eventually the wallet app will notify about new version too, depending on how urgent the update is.

Hello,

i have a problem restoring wallet from full backup.
I'm running Ubuntu 18.04.4 and obyte-x86_64.AppImage.

If i try to restore a full backup the application just crashes with following output:

...

There is known issue on Linux when importing full backup and it's fixed already and will be released with next version https://github.com/byteball/obyte-gui-wallet/pull/514

New version 3.1.0 solved the backup problem!
Well done.

Obyte version 3.1.0 released, this version introduces major enhancements in Autonomous Agents. The changes are scheduled to get activated at MCI 5494000 which is expected around July 1st. All full nodes need to upgrade before that date.

Wiki - is an excellent resource with articles on a wide range of Obyte platform features. However, there is a lot of information, so we recommend starting from the beginning!

In Obyte: when necessary - you are public, when not necessary - anonymous.

Transactions in our network can be confirmed by a third party. This allows you to use the existing legal system to prevent fraud. Banks can open accounts that are tracked in the Obyte database (and not in the bank’s internal database) and still meet existing KYC / AML requirements.
In another case, the transaction can, on the contrary, be completely hidden, and only its hash will appear in the DAG, while the rest of the data will be transferred directly from the payer to the recipient

OByte is in a good way. Website is perfect. I like it! Not a need to have complicated site, and won't working product. A site should give information. I think, https://obyte.org/ is a simple and good site.
Byteball has been like that since the beginning: no-nonsense, and a working product. However, in a market that's competing with hypes, in the short-term, hyped shitcoins win market share much easier.

You can right now start trading Obyte discount stablecoin at https://cryptox.pl/
More details about our stablecoin: https://ostable.org/

Got a peek on that, too low liquidity to trade, only 7 deals from the start (first, the buy one is  dated  17.05., the last  - 31.05), six of them are the short trading.  Do you really think  BTC_20200701 will get traction? It’s really hard to put elbows through that crowd of stablecoins which  have an established place on the market.

BTC_20200701 is also on decentralized Obyte exchange https://odex.ooo/trade/GBYTE/BTC_20200701
Never understand those who complain about liquidity, go create some! Why you always expect others to do all the work?

Seems like DAG's are starting to catch on ...

You're right, DAGs are superior in terms of both clarity of design and scalability.  I think Iota team made the right decision by choosing DAG too.

@tonych, what is your opinion about the project AVA Labs, they also use DAG, launch beta version, unless of course you saw their development. ??
