Very good that the kind of Distribution change.

In the past month was the linked BTC Account a big problem. Always the price dump.

If you can cancel Distributuion for linked BTC Account I prefer this.

Stocks with linked GByte is okay.

I recommend that you switch to Mbyte similar as IOTA.

Exactly i have been saying this for a long time switch to MByte.

A lot of noobs buy on price per unit they dont understand the total cap.

How many times have i seen it said byteball is too expensive so i bough iota cos it is cheaper.

Simple psy. This is the first change to be done.

Those asking why iota is 30x higher cap.

You have iota in the hands of very very few people whos interested in colluding and forcing cap higher.

You have BB in the hands of a few people many of which are in competing projects and 50% still in the hands of the dev (iota probably has more but it is hidden)

Based on the code alone BB should be higher than iota or on a par.

Tear the band aid off get the coins pushed out to current byteball  holders or locked away in a decentralised way with full ledger for development.

Forget asking corner shops to use it... take it to the big companies and create some headlines.

sneaknesbo is good at one thing........marketing and hype .... plus has no problem at all blagging with the big companies. No disrespect to small shop owners and corner stores but you wont get sneaknesbo seeking them out and advertising it. He knows what creates good sound bytes.

Use some BB to create a good marketing team if tony is not comfortable consorting with huge companies that can benefit from BB.

FUlly agree with all said.

And the unit change from GBYTE to MBYTE is probably much more important that it seems, especially for newcomers (less than 1 year in cryptocurrencies).

There is a new horde of people new to the crypto "investments" that are specifically hunting cryptos with a low price per coin. Many of the IOTA holders are like that. A behaviour that seems absurd and difficult to understand for the more experienced traders.... but it IS happening.

The problem is tonych does not listen. He never listens to anything sensible.

The distribution was the biggest mess. Byteball will pay for that for a while yet. That could have been avoided if tony had listened to alternative suggestions back then.

He does not listen or even enter dialogue about such things.

You are all at his complete and utter mercy and that's not a great place to be.

I am not anti byteball at all and have tried to highlight in my latest thread on the main board how it is one of only a handful of real projects of interest.

HOwever the distribution was a complete mess with competing projects claiming huge % of byteballs minting causing tonych to several times go back on the stated full moon distributions (the basis of why many bought BB to hold) to apparent fund BB. When the other projects are busy funding their own projects by dumping on us.

Great plan,.

Iota on the other hand had it correct get all the iota into the hands of those that will collude and make sure the price is held up.
Iota are great marketeers and although have been show up by MIT for making rookie errors are MAGNITUDES higher cap.

Now most know this is easy to manipulate if you have a few people colluding on a couple of bent exchanges but noobs have no clue and are getting their btc in there.

Tony seems so talented on one hand but on the other..........

All the people here at the start shouting the distribution plan was great and there is no problem giving it to competing projects exchanges and a few whales are probably now scratching their heads wondering why iota is MAGNITUDES higher and getting all the attention. PRICE GETS THE ATTENTION.
Coinmarketcrap is the most dangerous site in crypto.

Byteball can eventually gain the upper hand but you just all made it 50x harder for yourselves following that stupid distributional mode at the very start.

Need to bring this to the attention of huge companies or huge whales. Also the remaining tokens need to be in a less precarious state because no real investors will like such a huge proportion of the minting under the control of a sole entity that answers to nobody. Also the witnesses need to possibly be increased and passed to trustworthy individuals.

What the current plans? It would be nice to have a way to trade our Blackbytes or at least see Byteball in new exchanges like Poloniex, Liqui, Binance, Hitbtc etc. I also checked the site to know the upcoming airdrop date but the countdown is not working for some reason?

Byteball interview 😎❤ Part 3: What Crypto Can & Fiat Not: Conditional Payments
https://twitter.com/marcdemesel/status/938334447774195712

Please retweet, like and subscribe!  Wink

Summary:

Byteball founder Anton Churyumov talks about what he thinks the USP of cryptocurrency is = conditional payments and easy to make and use smart contracts that allow new ways to offer insurance, sports betting, gambling,, prediction markets without having to trust or even know the counterparty, as well as immediate execution.

We also discuss the decentralization of the witnesses and how they need become people and businesses with good reputations to lose outside the Byteball system in case they act dishonest as witness.

To conclude we talk price of bytes and it's true underlying value: 1 byte can buy you 1 byte of data storage in the DAG. Not dumb data like pictures but buys you transactional data that allow you to create smart contracts with guaranteed execution.

Enjoy and remember: sharing is caring 😉❤️👌

Byteball is constantly innovative, it would be foolish to jump ship just because another project has risen faster

IOTA is rocketing. But Gbyte....
Am I on a wrong train? Huh

Nope, you are an a good train, just wait it out. Never cry for a lost opportunity. (and at this moment i wouldn't buy IOTA as it's value must come down from an almost 10x growth in the last 30 days)
There is a massive 1 to 9 marketcap difference between them, byteball will follow upwards, as the tech is brilliant, development is very good and constant.
All the odds are showing byteball will succeed in time.

The way I see it: Byteball has the tech upper hand but is a marketing wreck/
Why though? Why aren't the devs funding a proper marketing campaign?
In these crazy hype times it should be so easy to pay a team of experts to gain major attention...

you should have been on both trains Smiley)) I hope you didn't take that rivalry between communities to seriously. There was no reason not to join both, since both are good ideas with roughly equal success chances. The way I see it: Byteball has the tech upper hand but is a marketing wreck, iota is doing all the wrong things with tech right now but brilliant in marketing. Imho odds are still 50-50.

Talking about the past months: Yes you were on the wrong train.
Does it make sense to change it now: I don't think so, it's too late now.

Having been trading blackbytes through freebe now I have received this message:

Quote
Sadly i had to cancel your exchange offer, please reclaim your funds from your smart address: P5M******************ERF.
Reason: Time left is less than 1 hour.

If I click on the smart address I am getting to chose between the options:
1. Pay to this address
2 Offer a contract

Not very intuitive, both options seem to be wrong. What should I do exactly to get back my coins?

There is no reason for Byteball to pump right now. Let it grow organically, having a solid base is more important for long term performance.

I think its also important for real world adaption, because that will involve lots of a small amounts rather then whole GBs. If you give someone a cashback of 10MB, and a MB is quoted @0.2$ thats easy to think of.
