Agree that something needs to be done with the remaining coins to stop this devastating price fall

MY RED TRUST LEFT BY SCUMBAGS - READ MY SIG
what did anyone expect with the distribution carried out as it was?

Dude, it seems to me you hate any distribution where 100% of the coins don't belong to you.  Cheesy

I think that is more of an accurate description of yourself dude.

Price drop looks much worse than it really is. Value should be accounted for in USD. Also not to mention the inflation rate which results in holders having more coins but each coin is worth less naturally.

Total market cap is the accurate depiction as to price movements for GBYTE.

snip

About 50% off from ATH

Sorry man but I totally disagree. We are in the crypto world here and what I care about is the price in terms of BTC. USD has no value to me. I do not need to see the glass half full in the way you see it.
Many coins looks good in terms of USD value, even the shittiest ones, but since I'm in crypto I've only cared about BTC prices. Or maybe I am very biased.

Totally agree! What matters is the value in BTC and nothing else!
What counts is the value of goods I can buy for a currency. So how much rice, tomatoes or apples do I get for my Bytes? Everything else is irrelevant.

Imo, no further energy should be put into this cashback program. Who cares about some restaurant somewhere in the middle of nowhere... Unless you can have some BIG partners (unlikely) not worth it imo.
Take a couple extra % of the GBYTE distribution, hire some extra people and do something BIG (roadmap).

the cashback stuff is a good idea in principle, but too much is being put on it and the choices are really weird. it should be for stuff that everyone can access online.

if i were in charge of this coin i'd get the distribution done and dusted asap. it became too much of an event and it's distorted everything way too much.

i'd link the rest to a snapshot that people have to claim manually. that'll massively slow it down and a lot will never be claimed and i'd hold back far more for myself to fund the ongoing stuff. there's no need to dispose of 99% of it when the developer can do far more with it.

check how nem have done it. their team holds back an insane amount. no one minds. people can also apply to have development projects funded that are voted on in its wallet.

so everyone being selling to buy lower , how good must be ,
coin recovery for no reason beside someone accumulating 99 % of the coin in circulation ?

Looks like a good time to start buying some Smiley

I read this here when the price was at .08. And then when it was down to .05.
Let me tell you something. This still isn't the bottom! There's still enough room to go south. Check the overall chart. This thing will probably go for a full retracement.
No significant rise will be seen until the distribution isn't over for 100%!!

Finally, put pressure on your guru to create a roadmap showing that this coin is better to use than other coins (initial steps I have mentioned here more often). If so, the course will explode (and I could finally convert my BTC to Bytes/Blackbytes).

Meet 3 new partners in our cashback program:

1. Yopey, an airbnb host in Tokyo https://www.airbnb.jp/rooms/10998033

2. Marigona Dent, a dental clinic in Kosovo https://www.facebook.com/marigonadent

3. Kanzlei Hellinger, a German law firm offering tax and legal support, including in cryptocurrency matters https://hellinger.eu.  They will also accept Bytes for payment.

Great to see this cashback program is going forward!

I think this program should be marketed more ie. Byteball website, though.

So, are you going to sell me your bytes.  Seems like you don't want them.  Smiley
Why should I do that? There is a good chance that something will come of it.
However, I will not change a single €uro to Bytes. As much as I'd like to.
So you're only complaining because your free Bytes went down in value?
No, I'm complaining that the community is so uncritical.
I complain that the necessary steps will not be taken to really use this coin.
I complain about the fact that there is no roadmap out of which one can see in which direction this project should go, and therefore I may be wasting my time waiting in vain for this currency to finally be usable.

In fact, in my opinion there is nothing better than Byteball. That's why my fundamental and constructive criticism is based on this, and I would like to point out what is necessary to bring this project forward.

I would also like to see what the competition has partly understood here.
Unfortunately, there is no approach where this can be seen.

This is an issue with crypto, and this forum, in general.

Everytime I see "great project", "promising tech", "good luck to a great team", etc... etc... on threads that started yesterday I wretch a little.

The VAST majority of folks in this space seem to be completely daft and lacking in critical thinking.

With that said, I don't see BB as a project deserving of nearly as much cause for concern as I do for 90% of the other developments out there.  It's unique in it's code/consensus, has anonymity, a somewhat fair distro, emphasis on bot and merchant acceptance to drive utility, and active development for >6 months.

Only a handful of projects can check most of those boxes, still it may fail, but I seriously see BB as having AT LEAST as good a shot at long term viability as any other top 100 cap coins, even with the recent price drop.

My Full Byteball Wallet is syncing very slow, since 09/17/17. How can I resolve the problem? Can I convert my Full Wallet to a light wallet without losing by Blackbytes?

having exactly the same problem
