I do not want additional distribution anymore. Dev should use rest of bytes for other productive things....

Distribution? Anyone have more info or link talking about this distribution?

Thank you

Last trend is creating assets on Ethereum and Waves (like eBTC) and airdropping them. Is it possible to create an asset on Byteball called ByteBTC (BBTC) with some limited supply (21 000 000 GBBTC) and airdrop it to all Byteball holders?

I mean not that Byteball devs do that, but can any person here from Bitcointalk do that? I see how I can create it, but I have no idea how to airdrop it and trade later on.

That asset would have all Byteball features related to DAG consensus, but its supply will be stable. It would be a good showcase how Byteball platform may work, that it's not only a payment solution.

Good tech and compound interest incentives were not enough to prevent this from happening. In fact there is much to be learned from it.

Maybe something in the distribution, as you said, or crypto is not yet mature enough to foster certain types of innovation.

This price collapse becomes spectacular:

what did anyone expect with the distribution carried out as it was?

however it does not take away from the fact the project is actually very promising.

long term this should reverse.

I don;t think it will go up until distribution is done and dusted. Could look into burning the rest of the tokens now just to get the dumping all done and over with asap so it can find its feet.

Then start telling bittrex to list in in mbytes to scoop up all the noobs that keep telling me gbytes are too expensive so they are buying iota instead. There are ton more of those than you think.

Who would invest in this coin except players?
Serious investors?

Without a roadmap, no investor knows where the journey is going (and the developers themselves probably don't know either).

The community also sees this coin as nothing more than a non-performing income. It is completely irrelevant that this currency should have any utility value.

So, are you going to sell me your bytes.  Seems like you don't want them.  Smiley
Why should I do that? There is a good chance that something will come of it.
However, I will not change a single €uro to Bytes. As much as I'd like to.
As long as the developer fails to make this coin applicable, I will not do that. And I'm certainly not the only one who thinks so.

The "merchant cashback program" is not only laughable, it is in particular an invitation to cheat.

But your statement also shows the general lack of criticism of this community. For me the main reason why the success of this coin is a long time coming.

Meanwhile, the competition continues to grow unstoppably....

u r absolutly right!
in this community fans have blind because haven`t a criticizm

Why no mention of the cashback program at https://byteball.org/ ? One need to dig deep into this chaotic topic to find out about it. Putting some spoiler with the program rules and contact at the main byteball.org page would help to entice more partners.

The first post of this topic doesn't mention the cashback program either. Sad

You mean like at https://byteball.org#dist.   Well, it is.
And there is a link with details at:  https://medium.com/byteball/byteball-cashback-program-9c717b8d3173

glad to see more cooperation companies.
Yes, at the end of the day what everbody cares about is the creation of an useful ecosystem in which Byteball serves several purposes. The Botstore is steadily growing and if more and more merchants will start to accept bytes and blackcytes we will see comeback in value. I'm grateful to tonych for his dedicated work towards a truly innovative crypto project. Time will speak for him.

My Full Byteball Wallet is syncing very slow, since 09/17/17. How can I resolve the problem? Can I convert my Full Wallet to a light wallet without losing by Blackbytes?

I have answered this many times.  Hell, it's the very top post on this page.  Just read that.   Gawd, make at least a little attempt at reading the forum.
Posted just for you....
Anyone here tried moving from a full client to a lite client in their machine? Is there an option in lite client to restore the wallet from a full backup made in a full client?

Yes, there are several ways to accomplish that.
No, you can't directly restore from a full node (full backup) to a light wallet; however, you can restore from seed to a lite wallet.   This will convert to a light wallet, but only the bytes.  In order to move the blackbytes, you will have to move them from the full node wallet first to a temporary wallet along with some bytes to pay for the transaction to move them again to your newly restored light wallet.

Where to find step-by-step instructions for CB. How to confirm that there was a payment if paid in cash or Bytes?

So you're only complaining because your free Bytes went down in value?
No, I'm complaining that the community is so uncritical.
I complain that the necessary steps will not be taken to really use this coin.
I complain about the fact that there is no roadmap out of which one can see in which direction this project should go, and therefore I may be wasting my time waiting in vain for this currency to finally be usable.

In fact, in my opinion there is nothing better than Byteball. That's why my fundamental and constructive criticism is based on this, and I would like to point out what is necessary to bring this project forward.

I would also like to see what the competition has partly understood here.
Unfortunately, there is no approach where this can be seen.

There will be a big announcment to LuckyBytes soon!

You might want to join now in order not to miss it Smiley

For all of you who dont now yet:

LuckyBytes is an in-app lottery in which you can play using your Byteball Bytes. There are three different game modes to participate in. Win large amounts of Bytes depending on the number of players on the «winner takes all» principle. All games are provably fair. Each lottery comes with a game and proof hash whichs lets a player validate and prove the results against manipulation.

You can do so from you Botstore (its the very last entry in the list) or from the LuckyBytes Website!

For months now, you literally only post in Byteball-threads, and you only complain about it. May I ask why? If you don't like it, that's totally fine, leave it and forget about it.
What's in it for you to keep telling over and over again how you don't like Byteball?

So, are you going to sell me your bytes.  Seems like you don't want them.  Smiley

In simple words can you explain how it works?
Example in airbnb let suppose that the price for a week is 70000 yen i have to pay
this whole amount over paypal or credit/debit card  throught airbnb. Right?!

Then when I arrive at the accommodation the owner should give me 10%
cashback in byteball in this example this would be 7000 yen in byteball?

Can you confirm it works that way?
Thanks.

It's explained here:
Quote
After the order was placed, or at some other point in the order process, you ask the customer about his Byteball address for receiving cashback. The address serves like the number of a loyalty card, and the concept should be familiar to mainstream customers even though it is a cryptocurrency. At this point, the customer should have already installed his Byteball wallet.

When the order is paid, or otherwise finalized, you send us the purchase details, together with the customer’s Byteball address, using our API https://github.com/byteball/byteball/wiki/Cashback-API. If you are handling the orders manually, you can also send the same information by manually filling out the form at https://byte.money. We immediately send cashback to the customer.
