do you guys think the price will pump or just keep falling before the next drop?

I am quite sure that price is will be on the rise again sooner. My honest opinion on next distribution is that will let less impact now on the market because of new strict formula. We should experience healthy growth now because many people were liquidating immediately after what they were receiving free coins. Give little time to market to recover and settle down.

Merchants are unlikely  going to accept bytes for payments. You need to offer a way to convert bytes to fiat, or issue fiat pegged tokens or loyalty point tokens.

U do realize merchants will receive cashback for using gbyte. Read Tony new rules of giveaway.
Only buyers get cashback, merchants get "more" trades.

Think you have to wait until current airdrop is finished, the Bot does not respond during that time.

Maybe you are right. I will have to wait a few days to relink my new BTC address I guess. OP also mentions "The linking phase will end on August 7, 2017 at 18:10 UTC, after which we'll do the distribution in proportion to BTC and bytes balances on this date."

Just found out that I have received GBB's for my holdings. Is there any mechanism to convert these GBB's into GB or these will remain in their original shape ? I read that these can be traded between person to person but for curiosity. We need to make them usable somewhere to make them valuable as well.

Does anyone have an idea how i could still receive my blackbytes on the last rounds for the linked address or if not at least be able to receive blackbytes on an offline wallet in future ?
As far as I know, you can't recover these blackbytes, and you can't receive blackbytes on cold storage.

I made Byteball: Blackbytes FAQ to explain some things. Blackbytes are a very smart creation, but they aren't very intuitive to use.

Thanks for the answer.
Since i can't receive them on cold storage, the question is whether i can receive them after restoring and being online and the blackbytes are resend ?
And the other question is, the wallet i linked the cold storage coins with is permanently online, so why do i not receive the blackbytes on this wallet ?

I am still unsure to which wallet the blackbytes will go , to the wallet of the device which does the linking or to the wallet where the coins are stored at.
Or do these two wallets have to be on the same seed/device ?

We as community need to promote and market the features which are working and available already. If we market just bet against flight delay and betting on matches those are more than sufficient to go mainstream. I am not expert but feel there is something missing which is causing of some type of hurdle in spite of great feature.

I moved my bitcoins to a new btc wallet/address today and want to relink this new bitcoin address to my byteball address. I can however not get the transition bot to relink the address. Is there a specific command I need to enter to get the bot asking for new address or am I missing something?

Tried different things, such as entering 1. byteball address, 2. bitcoin address, 3. signed message. Bot does not answer.

Maybe someone already posted it... Let's ask exchanges to add Bytebal

Please help getting Byteball listed on ShapeShift and Poloniex ###################################################
For ShapeShift, fill out the form at http://v.ht/shapeshift-byteball-request
1. Name of asset: Byteball (symbol: GBYTE)
2: Dev contact or additional info:
Website: www.byteball.org
Telegram: @Byteball or https://t.me/byteball
Slack: https://byteball.slack.com

###################################################

For Poloniex, fill out the form at https://poloniex.com/coinRequest
Name: Byteball
Symbol: GBYTE
Announcement link: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/obyte-totally-new-consensus-algorithm-private-untraceable-payments-1608859
Website: https://byteball.org/
Block explorer: https://explorer.byteball.org/

And whatever personal motivation or explanation you want to add yourself. For example that Byteball is a very promising cryptocurrency, has a user friendly wallet and client for all desktop and mobile platforms, it's accessible, works very well, offers very fast, cheap, efficient and secure transactions, it supports smart contracts / conditional payments and a lot more interesting properties.
###################################################

There is a word on the street exchanges won't take gbyte untill airdrops finish.
Not sure if this is legit or rumour.

Si vis pacem, para bellum
I think it is working now. I got free byteballs sold them after my first airdrop at 0.23 and now I rebought at 0.11. now I am holding more byteballs as btc is only giving almost 0 byteballs in the next drop.

I used  byteballs to pay money to some friends (which I owed them for travel or drinks  etc.) works fine and they are happy with 10% + per month.

seriously this is better than mining...

Keep up the good work Soldier!
